Have a couple items I would like to see end up with serious LZ collectors. Don’t see any specific prohibition in the rules but wanted to ask first. Thanks in advabce!

Also hello, this is my first post here!

So starting off is my first vinyl that I bought at Machynllenth, right under Bron Yr Aur, an original 1970 Led Zeppelin III. After a lot of googling and looking here and there I have came to a conclusion that it is the third variant, as the label on the vinyl does not feature the Peter Grant credit nor the Celebration misprint. It is also an A5/B5 matrix, so can’t wait to hear it

Next is a 1971 Japanese reissue of Led Zeppelin II. After even more googling, I can confirm it is that variant due to the ¥2000 on the back and the japanese stamp on the deadwax. This album features some of my favourite hard rock songs, so can’t wait to get it on the table either, especially since it looks virtually unplayed except from one surface scuff on side one.

Next is a 1980s West German reissue of Presence. With More googling I have found That these Alsdorf West German pressings are supposedly really high quality and they make some of the songs sound less harsh, which will be interesting to listen to as I find that some songs on the album can be a bit harsh on the ear and harder to listen to than others.

Last but not least is the 2018 record store day release of Rock and Roll Sunset sound mix along with the Friends Olympic Studios Mix. One reason I got this is cause I love coloured vinyls (there’s something cool about looking at a spinning colour), but also the versions of the songs as the Olympic Studios Mix of Friends is probably my favourite alternate mix of a song.

Can’t wait to continue the collection, especially since looking at all the small details on the sleeves or the deadwax is so cool, and learning the History of each of these individual vinyls gives each one a specific character of its own

I tend to hover around Led Zeppelin I - IV when I listen, plus Kashmir and Achilles Last Stand as favorites. Never got around to listening to this song til the other day.

1st time I didn't really dig it? Later on caught myself thinking about it, loved it the next time. Such an interesting, groovy piece of music.

Song Bio The seventh track off Physical Graffiti, “In the Light” was composed mostly by bassist/keyboardist John Paul Jones using a synthesizer. For the song’s intro, guitarist Jimmy Page used a violin bow to play his guitar (as he had previously done on “Dazed and Confused” and “How Many More Times”), giving it a unique sound to compliment the synthesizer.

The track was built upon a previously-written song called “In the Morning,” and was originally titled “Take Me Home.”

Led Zeppelin were never able to play the track live because the sound of the synthesizer could not be re-produced outside the recording studio.

Jimmy Page labelled the song as a follow-up to “Stairway to Heaven.”

What you are looking at is what I call a Brick Archway. I have been doing them for 6 years and have recently started connecting them to music / bands. This Archway is inspired by the Led Zeppelin III album and the portal is inspired by the song Tangerine. Hope you all enjoy :)
