Hello, I sent my official transcript this January after applying to UBC Kin. I got my offer, then I assumed that the transcript will update itself like it did when we applied in high school. I just got an email from UBC that the offer will be revoked if I don't send them my final transcript.
Is there a way to do this quickly online? Langara College website or even in person?
Thank you

Hey everyone! For those starting at Langara in Fall 2026 — are you still receiving emails from the school? I’ve noticed I haven’t gotten anything from Langara since July 1st. I used to get informational emails regularly, but it’s been quiet since then. Is this normal or should I be worried? Just wanted to check if others are in the same boat!

Hi!
I will be a first year this fall and plan to transfer to ubc to complete my degree. I’m a bit sceptical about my eng course after a few weeks of scrolling and seeing some comments.
Some say Engl 1123 and 1129 aren’t that different…so if anyone has taken either could you please give me your insight?
Thank you!!

Hello, I’m a first year with my own apartment off campus around metro town. What’s the social life like on campus? Is the social life better where in residence or off campus?

Hellloooooo folksssss...
I am actually attending school after 15 years and currently in my 40s. BHSC 1200 is my BSN pre-req and I am assuming I will have to get at least Grade A or A- in the course. I was also able to find solid reviews for Profs Cindy and Bassam. However, mine is Kaitlin Marshall. And I am really stressing out, because failing my very 1st course is gonna be a big let-down. And I might just end up dropping my dreams along with the course. Does anyone possibly have any experience with Kaitlin Marshall???? It would be a great help!!!!!

Hi everyone, been looking at this diploma program offered at langara. It is completely online but im not too sure of the success rate of this program in terms of finding employment later on. I won’t be able to do the bcit ohs diploma as that is full time and I also don’t meet the prerequisites of that course to join in september.
Langara has also suspended their Post-degree diploma for health and safety for now. so please give me any insights available or if you know anyone who has done it and how did it turn out for them!
Thank you!!

Has anyone transferred from the ECE full time in-person certificate to UVIC bachelors of child and youth care? If so how’d it go, what other courses did you need to transfer to the UVIC bachelors, what jobs did you land and or just any extra information since I saw that you can transfer to UVIC on the Langara ECE career pathways page

Hey guys!! if you’re still looking for experience or something to add to your resume, check out Riipen Labs
It’s a remote micro-internship program where students work on short real-world projects with employers. Each project is about 30 hours and pays a $600 upon completion.

This post is more thorough than the last one I posted.
I purchased these textbooks at the beginning of the January 2026 term. All purchased at the langara book store.

Im writing the MDT 2 in a day, and just wanting to hear from past test takers on what this exam might have in store. Past posts are either old saying that its online, and has less questions then now(30 vs 50now), so if anybody can be helping, be greatly appreciated

How does it work if anyone went through the process?

Hello! I want to apply to the Library & Information Technology diploma program. I'm interested in the flexible option because I have a job with chaotic hours, which makes attending regular classes a challenge.
What is the flexible program like? Is it fully asynchronous? How heavy is the workload compared to the regular 2-year program? What does practicum look like in the flexible program?
Thank you! :)

Starting September I'll be a student at langara, I'm going into engineering, I will be transferring out of langara to go into UBC. I want to make this year memorable as iv heard no one really talks and building friends can be hard, I'm very social but very introverted at the same time, unfortunately I need someone to talk to em first and then I'll be super social after.

Hi there! So 3 months ago I had created a post asking about advice on what to do for summer semester about my academic probation from spring semester since it's my first year (second year this coming Fall) and what I should do for the semester to make up for it. With checking my CGPA and missing classes, I'm coming just a little above the average to get by without getting into suspension if I do well for the rest of the semester but that is if I do.
Can anyone who has maybe been under academic suspension for their first time tell me how it went? I am a little worried about how the LRTL since I want to return as soon as possible if I do go under suspension. Not to mention too much, but I've had academic pressure on me for a long time and I worry about saying I'll have to miss a semester minimum in order to attend the next one due to my GPA dropping significantly from Spring.
All the advice is appreciated! I'm still going to go ask some people from academic advising about what I should do as well, but I just find it easier to ask here as I can refer back to it and maybe other people are under similar circumstances as me.
