how long for tolerance to decrease ?

i do not use regularly but i noticed my tolerance went up quite high to the point where i need 2-3 cups of kratom tea to feel something.
i use preferably red kratom even though i had some nice but different experience with the green strains.
when i get a 200g bag it can happen that i use daily for a couple days to a week.
often i take a month or plus brakes yet still it doesnt feel as my tolerance goes down sadly

At that dose, say 12 grams per day (unless it's per dose) and with the breaks you take, I think this is your base tolerance. Before starting kratom, have you ever taken any opioids? Also, is it filtered tea? If so, that reduces the dosage because you always lose some potency. But no matter what, a month long break should bring you back to base tolerance. I could tell you to take a 2 month break but I don't think it would make a difference.

its a per day dose, yes i have used H a couple times smoked of foil but last time must have been like 4-5 years ago and i only smoked 2g over 2 days.
its unfiltered, i put honey, lemon juice and the powder into hot water and drink the whole thing.
i will try a 2 month break eventually to see if it helps.
seems tolerance shoots back up real fast as the first tea i felt it but the subsequent days i had to drink more tea or add a bit more powder but still couldnt get the full effects else nausea kicks in after a while and isnt enjoyable

I think you're at base level and a two month break will keep you feeling it a bit longer but you likely will be back to where you are after just a few doses and 12g is a rather large dose. But some people need more to feel it. However, have you tried much lower doses? Something like 4g? Some people who are stuck with not feeling it sometimes simply go low and start feeling it more, sometimes a lot more.

12g isover the course of a whole evening, i start with a 4g tea, feel it a bit or not as much as i like and then i drink another one like 1-2 hrs later and then i´ll drink a 3rd one again 2-4hrs later
