I've been seeing the Kindle Colorsoft EVERYWHERE and now I want one so bad 😭

Where did you guys get yours??

I'm trying to find the best place to buy it. Amazon? Somewhere else? Did you wait for a sale? CUZ ITS OUT OF STOCK

Also... was it actually worth the money or do you wish you got a different Kindle instead?

Help me before I accidentally convince myself to buy it at 2 AM 💀

I have ADHD and listening while reading a book has completely changed the game for my focus. Unfortuanetly, I can't do both on my kindle device. And I know I can do both on my iphone with the app, but I never liked using that because the screen is tiny and I am already used to, and love, the screen of my kindle signature paperwhite. What are my options then? I wonder if they will ever allow immersion reading on the actual device- seems such common sense to make work.

I posted on here asking if I should buy a kindle or not and I decided I’m going to just get it, HOWEVER!! I did some digging and I originally thought that the base model and paperwhite were the only models. I didn’t know the color soft was a thing too! Is the color soft worth the money..? I definitely wanna read books, but also comics as well so I would definitely appreciate the color, but is it actually worth the money? People with color soft kindles or have had them, please give some feedback!

I recently bought 2 baby pink Kindle covers and I cant decide which one to keep 😭 Would love some opinions!!

Option 1:
Detachable cover
Back cover has a pink border (not fully clear at the edges)
No built-in magsafe ring

Pros: I can still see my Kindle insert/stickers more clearly because the back isn’t as covered

Option 2:
Detachable cover
Built-in magnetic ring
Fully clear back cover

Cons: When the cover is attached, a big part of the back is covered, so I won’t really be able to see my Kindle insert (if I print one) or any stickers I put on 😭😭

BUT I also love the convenience of the magsafe ring on option 2! BUT I also love being able to customise and see the back of my Kindle with option 1..

If you were me.. which one would you keep?Or would you get another type of case..?

p/s: the protective film on the covers are not removed yet, so they look a little frosted/cloudy in the photos

I’ve been starring at my phone on amazon looking at a kindle for so long because of how tempting it is to press purchase.. Should i just fall for the propaganda orrrr? Also if you think I should, do I buy the base model or the paperwhite (right now i’m leaning towards the paperwhite) and where should i get a case?

Is there no way to look at book info any more? Like, I tap on a suggested book and it shows the blurb and some reviews. I click on see all details and it refreshes the blurb screen. It used to open the store or a detailed page. And if I click on the author I can see their books, but after I select one there’s no way to go back to their main page that I can find. Only the X to close everything and return to their main page kindle page.

If I’m just missing a step somewhere would someone let me know? This update is so frustrating that I’m ready to completely quit Kindle and strictly use my Kobo. I think Amazon hates their customers.

I've just gotten myself a kindle basic 11 gen and I started looking for a case to fit with it, and I saw the STUNNING artworks on the kindle kids cases and I really want one. I've seen multiple of them on second hand apps and I was wondering if it would fit my regular kindle. I've looked up the dimentions for both and they're almost identical, has anybody tried using a kids case on a regular kindle?

I'm someone who loves reading books, but have kind of lost my way lately.

I bought a Kindle many years ago, but it didn't really fit what I wanted because it's only good for books which you can download from the store. It doesn't handle PDF material really well.

I want to buy a new e-reader.

Alongside english, I also read books in Urdu and Arabic, which are mainly PDF formats.

I need something that handles PDF material really well without having any distractions, like a phone. Also, something that allows you to download books like the kindle.

Please give me the best recommendations.

Obligatory, not sure if this is allowed. I looked through the rules and FAQ and did a quick search but cannot find anything. If I missed it, I apologize.

I have some books that I want to upload to my Kindle library and for some reason they are not going through. I have ensured they are epubs and have tried every "Send to Kindle" method I can find. I have sent over 20 books and only two are not going. Keep getting what appears to be a generic error code of "E999" which I have looked up but I am only getting with these two files. I have tried sending separately, together, even with other files.

When sent with other files, all of the files go through except these two.

Any ideas as to why?

I’ve been trying to find a top-opening cover (vertical flip style) for the new Kindle Colorsoft, but I'm not having any luck.

I’m looking for something similar in style to this older Tuff-Luv case: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/dp/B006QWAUJW — essentially a case with the hinge on the top edge and ideally an internal card slot/pocket.

Has anyone come across a case like this for the Colorsoft, or know of any custom makers who do vertical flips?

The Epub looks fine on my computer and then when I upload it, it looks like this! If I just do pdf it works fine but then there’s no cover, and I really like having covers. I used Calibre first, and then KCC for the mobi files but they look terrible on my pc and my kindle.

I love the Quirky cup but it makes my pocket hurt 😫 I want to buy all the things

I’m 63 and just want to read now that I have had eye surgery and I’m able to enjoy print again. Would also like to do magazines as well. Because of the magazines, thinking I need the color one.

My wife bought a Kindle for herself because she wanted a better way to read books. But had some big problem transferring eBooks from Google Book to Kindle which I try my best to help her. I got frustrated too.

One day, I decided to try it out myself, and I ended up really liking it. Before that, I always fund of checking physical books in the book store and kept telling myself I should buy one. In reality, I would often choose to be practical, and sometimes I’d even just search for books online in ways that weren’t exactly legal. (The books here cost a lot so I will just spend elsewhere with my fam)

Now I actually bring the Kindle with me and read on it regularly. It’s funny because it was originally meant for her, but I ended up being the one using it the most.

I’m also looking for good places to buy eBooks outside of Amazon that work well with Kindle. Any recommendations?

Finally got myself a Kindle e-reader! Decided to go for the Colorsoft model. So far I really enjoy it!

I've been contemplating buying a kindle for over 5 years since I might not be able to use it as much since I usually read using my phone or physical books. I also did not want to splurge since I wanted to be able to start earning first before buying one.

I've been working for about a year and I've decided to buy one after a lot of persuasion and because of the discounts 🤣

I've already had this for a week already and I've had no regrets! I only read during my free time or breaks during work but I was able to finish 5 books already surprisingly😁

I would say it is one of my best purchases ever since I started working a year ago! So if you're looking for a sign to buy one this is it 😂

I'm curious what Kindle features people just ignore. Personally, I never do any highlighting of the books I'm reading.

It's only been a month since I got my 12th gen paperwhite and I've already read 3 books, which is a big deal for me already since I was on a year reading slump!!

Hey everyone! I used to be able to just tap on lines in a book that has that popular highlighted section that shows how many people highlighted that sentence and then it will automatically highlight it for me but I’m not able to anymore. :( anyone know why that could be? TIA ◡̈
