Not young and been accumulating Kaspa awhile now. Tangem, Kaspium,and Kastle wallets. How are people “using” Kaspa besides money. I want to play around with it but want advice on zealous swap vs igra Kaspa com Kaskad, Kas.fun, etc. anyway to learn and earn while I hold and accumulate over the next 5 years. Weird question but like I said I’m “older”.

Not affiliated, just impressed and figured this deserves more attention here.
What stood out:
Now the part this sub needs to hear, because every third post here is "why doesn't Kaspa market itself":
THIS is the marketing. Real organic activity behind real apps generates real buzz — and it's the only kind of marketing that can't be faked, bought, or dismissed.
Think about how it actually works: paid ads and influencer shills get scrolled past and forgotten, and everyone knows which chains bought their hype with premine war chests Kaspa deliberately doesn't have. But when analysts, exchanges, and funds look at a chain, the thing they can't ignore is on-chain activity trending up because people are actually using things. Nobody can astroturf a six-month grind of rising daily transactions from a genuinely good consumer app. That chart becomes the story. "Fair-launched PoW chain has a messenger people actually use daily" is a headline no marketing budget can buy — because it's verifiable, on-chain.
So for everyone who asks "how do I actually help besides holding": this is genuinely it. Every message you send is real L1 fee volume — organic usage, the one metric that can't be gamed. Use it because it's actually good, get your friends on it because texting is universal, and the chart takes care of itself. We keep waiting for someone to market Kaspa for us. Meanwhile the best marketing in crypto is sitting in the App Store costing a fraction of a cent per use.
Toccata gave us programmability and everyone's watching for the enterprise stuff — fair, me included. But grassroots adoption looks exactly like this: a small team shipped a consumer app on raw L1 rails that a normal person can use without knowing what a blockchain is.
kachat.app — try it, message a friend, form your own opinion. The activity speaks for itself, and that's the whole point.

Been following KII with cautious interest for a long time, and I'll be upfront: for most of that time, the fair criticism was "big claims, nothing anyone outside could verify." That changed this month, and I went through basically the entire new site so you don't have to. Here's what's actually there now.
The new kaspa-kii.org (https://kaspa-kii.org) restructured around three documented products:
The part that matters most to me: things outsiders can now verify.
Being honest about what's NOT there yet, because that matters too:
No named customers or pilot partners — the site's own language is "built, tested, ready for launch," and pilots start with scoping conversations. WarpCore has been sandbox-only since January. The ECB Pontes application is submitted but not decided. GigaWat and ZET-EX are absent from the new site (the regulated products appear gated behind MiCA licensing — the carbon calculation plumbing resurfaced inside KiiWORKS instead). And some engineering pages are refreshingly blunt: the newest trade-rails pillar is self-described as a scaffold needing ~6 engineer-months. I actually trust the estate more because it admits this instead of hiding it.
Why I'm optimistic anyway:
A year ago the entire KII story was one guy's podcast claims. Today it's a documented product architecture, a mainnet artifact, a public repo, an independently verified benchmark, and an open pilot pipeline — all delivered on the timeline they stated. The pattern of the last month is "promise → deliver → invite verification," and that's the only pattern that ever matters. If it continues — a named pilot, a Pontes acceptance, the repos going public — each step is checkable the same way this one was. If it stalls, that'll be checkable too.
Kaspa's base layer gave us settlement without trust. What KII is attempting is the harder, slower thing: making institutions care. For the first time, they've shown work you can actually inspect instead of words you have to believe. DYOR — the site's all public now, go read it yourselves.

hello,
It’s just my opinion but Bitcoin is a Wall Street coin at this point of time. Yes it‘s decentralized and secured with proof of work (PoW is the only mechanism for a fair money network) but it is completely unable to be a p2p network for people.
People can buy bitcoin and hope the cycles will play out like in the past to make more fiat. I do not even criticize that. But wasn‘t the entire point of the invention of bitcoin that humanity gets a p2p electronic cash system?
I was a Bitcoin Maximalist for many years but
a) Saylor is a huge risk
b) it failed as a payment network (lightning is so awful)
c) even the number go up narrative is declining
I have studied Kaspa for over two years now and at first I called it just another shitcoin like everything else.
But I couldn‘t find anything negative. The more I studied it the more I liked it.
Kaspa is exactly that what Satoshi Nakamoto wanted to have but he couldn‘t because he only had a blockchain (something like a BlockDAG didn‘t exist).
Kaspa is an efficient proof of work mechanism which is CapEx heavy. It‘s exactly as decebtralized as bitcoin in a way that everyone could potentially buy a node. Beside that it actually really works.. very very well as a payment network! It‘s not just that “it‘s faster“. It‘s as secure as bitcoin in seconds which achieved bitcoin in 60 minutes. The throughput is very high and the capacity of really adopting people is suceeded, unlike in the bitcoin blockchain network.
Yes.. I was a BTC Maximalist with all my heart but I think now it‘s time to stick with Kaspa. It is my last hope. Bitcoin is just a proxy gold.. Kaspa could still fullfil Satoshi‘s dream! Yes the bear market was brutal, but let‘s be real.. even bitcoin had even bigger ones in the beginning.
Thanks!

KCC
Kaspa Calls for Conventions (KCCs) describe shared conventions for the Kaspa ecosystem, including covenant conventions, application interfaces, asset standards, wallet and indexer interoperability, based applications, verifiable programs, and other areas where independent implementations benefit from convergence.
kcc-01: covenant definition, concepts, bytes layout and abi
the covenant ecosystem development is taking shape through tools, applications and (unwritten) standards.
at this early stage, foundational assumptions naturally live inside each implementation. if left implicit, they can harden into incompatibilities or become ecosystem defaults simply because one shipped first.
as the first (in order) kcc, kcc-01 brings those assumptions into public discussion while they are easy to question and change.
future kccs can build from an explicit point of reference without placing any compiler, framework or application in charge of defining the model.
kcc-02: control principal references in program ABI
building on kcc-01, this draft answers this simple question:
as a user, how can my wallet know which covenants i can act on, whether it is a kcc-20 token or any another application?
kcc-02 proposes a shared ABI convention for exposing ownership and identity references, so wallets and tools can recognize them without application-specific knowledge, effectively increasing interoperability.

Seems there is a good possibility that BTC is headed to $75K in the next 2 weeks. This coupled with renewed optimism in AI will largely mean 20%+ gains in the broader market. How should we react when Kaspa only rises to $.031?
Over the next 2 weeks when every other project is gaining more than Kaspa - who can clearly explain when Kaspa will start outpacing the market? Surely there is a transaction metric out there that the 1M+ KAS bulls are basing their confidence in?
Not all signs of adoption are trending down right? If you can’t show me a single adoption line trending up why be optimistic about Kaspa?

This is not intended as FUD. I think Kaspa has built one of the most technically interesting proof-of-work networks in the industry.
Kaspa is already operating at 10 blocks per second, has no premine or insider allocation, and has demonstrated that proof of work does not necessarily have to mean slow settlement.
But I think there is a more uncomfortable question the community needs to address:
Who is actually responsible for turning Kaspa’s technical performance into sustained adoption?
Kaspa’s fair launch and community-driven structure protect it from many of the problems associated with VC-controlled networks. However, the official Kaspa Wiki also describes the project as largely volunteer-driven, with development initiatives commonly funded through community donations rather than permanent paid positions or a large centrally controlled treasury.
That may be an ideological strength—but could it also be Kaspa’s biggest adoption weakness?
Marketing is not simply advertising or paying influencers.
Real adoption requires continuous execution across multiple areas:
- developer relations and grants;
- stablecoin and liquidity integrations;
- wallets and consumer-facing products;
- merchant onboarding;
- institutional pilots;
- exchange and custody integrations;
- legal and regulatory work;
- documentation, support and business development.
These activities require capital, coordination, continuity and accountability.
Kaspa has built an impressive settlement engine, but the broader application layer is still maturing. Toccata programmability is being tested ahead of mainnet activation, developer tooling is still evolving, and full vProgs remain a future direction rather than an established application ecosystem.
So is Kaspa’s main bottleneck really “poor marketing”?
Or is the deeper problem that Kaspa currently lacks a permanent and accountable adoption organization whose job is to convert protocol capability into developers, applications, users, liquidity and institutional demand?
A decentralized project should not depend on one company. But complete decentralization does not automatically produce coordinated distribution either.
Bitcoin could grow primarily as a monetary asset without a complex application ecosystem. Kaspa appears to have broader ambitions involving payments, high-speed settlement, programmability and potentially institutional infrastructure. Those goals may require a much more active go-to-market and ecosystem-building strategy.
My main questions for the community are:
Who owns Kaspa adoption today?
If the answer is “everyone,” does that risk meaning that nobody is ultimately accountable for it?
And what measurable indicators should we use to determine whether Kaspa is achieving real adoption rather than simply building increasingly advanced infrastructure?
For example:
- recurring non-speculative transaction volume;
- active application users;
- stablecoin liquidity;
- merchant payment volume;
- developer growth;
- fees generated by real applications;
- enterprise or institutional deployments;
- or something else?
Perhaps the current model is exactly what Kaspa needs and adoption will emerge organically once the technology is ready.
But if that is the thesis, what concrete evidence supports it—and how long should the community reasonably expect the transition from superior technology to meaningful usage to take?
I would especially like to hear from developers, ecosystem builders and people working directly on integrations.

An open marketplace where AI agents pay for real services in KAS — LLM inference, chain data, zero-knowledge proofs, covenant tooling — built on Kaspa's Toccata covenants.
The settlement is the point: your KAS sits in a **Kaspa L1 covenant**, not a merchant's wallet.
You pay per call by signing tiny off-chain vouchers; the provider closes on-chain whenever it wants and *consensus* enforces the split — it can only ever take what you signed, and you reclaim the rest. No custodian, no facilitator, ~1s finality, basically zero fees. Reputation is settled volume the registry verifies on-chain — you can't fake it without moving real KAS.
Why Kaspa specifically: 10 blocks/sec + ~1s finality make per-call payments actually practical, and covenants let the network itself enforce the channel instead of a middleman. This is the kind of thing the covenant upgrade unlocks.
And it's built for agents to find on their own: `npx kaspa-402` wires an agent up in one command, or kaspa-402.org/llms.txt hands it the entire catalog — services, prices, and how to pay — in a single machine-readable fetch.
It's real and running on mainnet. **Try it free at kaspa-402.org** — hit "Run free" and ask the kaspa-expert model anything (a RAG-grounded model, so it won't make things up about Kaspa). No account, no wallet — it's a free testnet demo of the pay-per-call loop.
