News Trump approves nuclear agreement that may allow Saudi Arabia to enrich uranium, 2 AP sources say
•
•
•
•
u/EasternPresence 16m ago
15 of the 19 9/11 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia by the way. But a bribe is a bribe. Im sure they are giving Trump an island or a plane or something.
•
u/RefrigeratorNew8420 20m ago
He is trying to butter up the Saudis so they will let him launch a ground invasion of Iran from their soil.
•
u/NoAnimator7306 28m ago
What did they pay him?
•
u/DarthLurker 20m ago
They paid Jared 2B at the end of the first term.. I thought that was for the stolen state secrets he gave them at the LIV Golf tournament in NJ, but maybe they had some credit left over and got nukes thrown in...
•
u/Far_Pitch_8395 42m ago
Why not? He wants to merge IDF Military Intell. w/ ours. And everyone seems to be going along. One lunatic runs the planet...they're All insane.
•
u/PinkTurdsInSpace 30m ago
Sociopaths created the system so that sociopaths could control things and shape the world in their sociopathic image. We are a planet run by maniacs on pedestals vying for position to reign over the biggest pile of skulls.

•
u/CHRISTEN-METAL 50m ago
WTF is this moron doing?
That’s right, it’s all about the money. How much is Saudi Arabia bribing Trump to allow the Country that performed the deadliest attack on America in its 250 year history to enrich Uranium to a weapons grade level?
•
•
u/CMGCookie 1h ago
Now that's just great. Just what the world needs. Another nuclear power in the middle east.
I'm sure they're dancing in the streets in Tel Aviv, huh.
•
u/Definitelyhereforshi 1h ago
We're fighting a war to stop a theocratic dictatorship from getting nuclear weapons, so we let a theocratic dictatorship get nuclear enrichment....
Am I getting that right?
•
u/Far_Pitch_8395 37m ago
That's a lie. Too long to explain. You have to watch/read So Much else out there. These war mongers keep changing the story everything someone sane challenges them.
•
u/Pristine-Square-1126 1h ago
the issue with iran is they didn't give him an airplane. so the other theocratic dictatorship is smarter by giving the airplane. it's not about theocratic dictatorship, its about theocratic dictatorship with airplane given, got it?
•
u/Far_Pitch_8395 33m ago
What it's always been about: oil, gas, land grab, access to the sea to build ports for exporting same, rare earths/metals for Western corporate tech use, even more US centralized military bases. On & on. Tons of real history & facts waiting for you read or hear gor yrself.
•
u/Here_Just_Browsing 45m ago
You’re confusing your theocratic dictatorships. It was the Qatari theocratic monarchy dictatorship that gave him the plane, not the Saudi theocratic monarchy dictatorship. The Saudi theocratic monarchy dictatorship gave his son-in-law a $2 billion investment his company
•
u/Pristine-Square-1126 26m ago
rocks and pebbles, same same, i think the secret sauce is as long as it enrich them, everything flies?
•
u/Here_Just_Browsing 18m ago
That is indeed Trump’s ‘Modus Operandi’
Usually with a heavy helping of corruption and crime
•
u/mycoctopus 53m ago
I think i'm starting to get it but i'll keep an eye out just in case. Ty.
•
u/Pristine-Square-1126 47m ago
i wonder if paper mache would work. considering how stupid he is, you think he will know the difference after we use ai and paint it? i mean we don't need nuclear enrichment, just a few billions, maybe a paper mache airplane will do?
•
•
u/Active_Confection655 57m ago
It would be so ironic if that plane flew into a tall building. Who would of seen that coming from the Saudis?
•
•
•
u/Square_Appearance_79 1h ago
Iran can’t have but Saudi Arabia can??? Ummm that’s a fucking joke
•
u/endeend8 43m ago
then guess which one committed one of the worst terrorists attacks against the US
•
u/SuperbScarcity5112 1h ago edited 1h ago
This is what you get "both sides" and "can't be worse than Biden" people. Nukes in the country with the most raving, mad religious nuts in the whole world.

They knew they could smooze their way in with the Donald at the helm. Don’t they even have training facilities here in this country now? WTF
•
•
u/Tall_Inspector_3392 1h ago
If my memory serves me, didn't 15 Saudi Arabian citizens attack the USA twenty five years ago? Now maybe the Saudi Arabian government has apologized for this um, incident, but...

u/mrv113 1h ago
Isn't that the country that 9/11 masterminds came from? And Iran was not listed in the list of those with a hand in 9/11?
What can't money buy in this world, eh?
•
u/mycoctopus 50m ago
Mushrooms, you're really not going to want to convert currency into fungi.. it would be a big problem!
•
u/PsychologicalOne752 1h ago
Whoever pays Trump can get anything done. Let future generation deal with the consequences of this.
•
u/Acrobatic_Bridge_797 2h ago
Didn't they arm Saddam too in the Iran-Iraq war? Lol
This is just the setup for a Saudi invasion in 20-30 years.
•
•
•
u/howismyspelling 2h ago
Nice. Because nothing could possibly come back to bite america in the ass in 20 years, right? Right guys?
•
•
•
u/Connect_Law6224 2h ago
Every morning, I open my phone hoping to see the news. He’s destroyed so much.
•
u/ArexSaturn 2h ago
Huh wait, wait what? Isn’t this the excuse why we are feuding with Iran in the first place? 😑
•
u/Some-Tear3499 2h ago
We don’t have much money in Iran. Trump and his cronies are making huge bank with KSA. Billions. Maybe a little nuke action would help them dominate in the ME. And certainly help them spread Wahhabism, a form of fundamentalist Islam.
•
u/totally-jag 2h ago
Wasn't Saudi Arabia implicated in 9/11? I guess as long as they like trump it's fine /s
•
•
•
•
•
u/SwampyThang 2h ago
So we’re going to give Saudi Arabia our nukes so they can nuke Iran and we can say we had nothing to do with it
•
u/HallowedGround1888 2h ago
He knows saudis were implicated, at least financially , in the 9/11 right ? Yet he allows them to enrich uranium? Good grief
•
•
•
•
u/DistributeQuickly559 3h ago
They enter the war on the behalf of rhe US and Trump backs out, Saudi Arabia fights the war and gets the pass on building a nuke.
•
u/ArmoIrishDude 3h ago
Cool so Iran can’t have one but the country behind 9/11 can? That makes sense to ABSOLUTELY NOBODY! God can we PLEASE GET RID OF THIS CLOWN ANF HIS CRONIES!!! HES NOT A MAN HES A BIG ASS BITCH!!!! FOR FUCK SAKE!!!
•
•
u/ErictheE 3h ago
Rofl potentially open the door, possibly allow, possibly lead to, yet every comment is "they will make a bomb" but that same vitriol is not sent towards Iran and their nuclear program. The lack of knowledge and double standards presented is immensely concerning.
•
•
u/Unusual_Specialist 3h ago
This is a powder keg in the Middle East waiting to happen. Not to mention, this is the country that funded 9/11.
•
•
u/TodosLosPomegranates 3h ago
WHAT. THE. FUCK.
•
u/Fantastic-Formal-157 3h ago
I’ll reply to this because if there is ever a revolution in Saudi Arabia and the people get control watch out. The Iranian people are MUCH more moderate and western than then actually population of Saudi Arabia.
•
•
u/Tech-Film3905 3h ago
So the country that financed 911 attacks and fielded most of the hijackers, propped up wahhabism across the global south, chopped up journalists, and murdered 200k people in Yemen can enrich uranium but Iran cant?
Their issue with Iran is purely because it won't surrender its sovereignty. It has nothing to do with democracy or 'terrorism'.
•
•
u/Green_Drag_9548 3h ago
So the country that the majority of the 9/11 terrorists came from can now go nuclear! Smart move Donny. How much money did they give you?
•
•
u/Decent-Risk-6062 2h ago
Lol Saudi has been nuclear for decades. They helped fund Pakistans programme in return for influence over who they might get pointed at.
•
u/ThisIsFineImFine89 3h ago
President gives nation responsible for 9/11, nuclear weapons***
•
u/SplitEar 3h ago
All Bin Laden had to do was wait 25 years and he could have just bribed Trump to get all he wanted.
•
u/Pud2short 3h ago
The orange blob wants resorts on beaches. Can you think of a better way for the bonespurred one?
•
u/RememberJefferies 3h ago
They don't even bother trying to hide the corruption anymore.
•
u/DearCastiel 3h ago
Mind boggling he doesn't have mass riots and daily assassination attempts at this point. His country should be burning for the levels of corruption on full display and the total impotence of the checks and balances.
•
•
u/Intrepid_Jeweler4686 4h ago
So...now it is suddenly ok that an Islamic theocracy put their hands on nukes?
•
•
u/Shadowfox186 4h ago
Saudi Arabia funded 9/11 so yea give them a nuke as a reward for a plane.
•
u/SplitEar 3h ago edited 3h ago
I know it’s hard to keep all the bribes straight but the 747 was a Qatari bribe.
•
u/Mysterious-Result608 4h ago
they didn't fund the 9/11 the guys who did that just happen to be saudis....man i can understand you not liking saudi government but stop spreading obvious lies for the sake of hating
•
u/KneelB4Z0d 3h ago
It's never been proven, but there is evidence of Saudi-adjacent involvement. Omar al-Bayoumi being one of the key figures.
•
•
u/UniversityOriginal 4h ago
And he fumbles the ball…. wait, what’s that? The goal post is moving closer… closer… and it’s a WIN for dumpy Don! We won the war, Iran gets to enrich uranium and no one remembers what the original objective was to begin with. Amazing
/s
•
u/fishdad1977 4h ago
And I thought he could not get any dumber or more corrupt. Worst president ever!
•
u/Ok-Egg-4856 4h ago
Saudi Nukes OK !!!!! Iran Nukes NEVER !!!! They are Islamic!!!! Wait, what ? Both ?
•
u/pavelowdriver 4h ago
That is smart for the whole world. I would have picked Pakistan but Saudi Arabia should work well to manage that
•
•
•
•
•
•
u/BarnabasShrexx 4h ago
Pretty sure the whole point of not letting Iran have nuclear weapons was because they are a authoritarian theocratic regime.
Saudi Arabia is an authoritarian theocratic regime that strictly enforces Sharia law and his led by an Islamic absolute monarch.
Can we get some trump-humpers in here to make this make sense? Because I guarantee you they cannot. Not without admitting the fact that this President is 100% bought and sold.
•
u/Upbeat_Map_348 2h ago
Isn’t the US fast becoming an authoritarian theocratic regime?
•
u/BarnabasShrexx 20m ago
They would love that.... but theres still some checks and balances. For now...
•
u/Utterlybored 4h ago
The marginal difference is that the Saudis are not directly fucking w Israel, but yeah, minor differences aside, it’s the same shit.
•
•
•
•
•
•
•
u/Mountain_rage 5h ago edited 5h ago
He already sold them the secret documents on how to build nukes, why wouldn't he let the country behind 9-11 have weapons that can wipe out US cities?
•
•
u/Savings_Gear_5155 5h ago
I wonder how much this cost Saudi Arabia in bribes to the trump family.
•

America used to have values and principles……
•
•
u/BarnabasShrexx 4h ago
Those could be bought and sold and you just slap a this is now American pride sticker on it.... worked for maga anyway... those dumb fucks worship this assholes ego and think it's patriotism.
•
•
u/Few-Tomatillo6607 5h ago
Iran should have been giving "gifts" to trumpstein.
•
u/No-Transition-8375 5h ago
That’s what he’s been trying to tell them the whole time.
“Good faith talks,” right?
•
u/Codify-The-Preamble 5h ago
The Saudi Arabia that funded and had a major role in 9/11?
•
•
u/Exact-Smell430 5h ago
Not that one, the other Saudi Arabia that is investing hundreds of millions into Trump companies
•
•
u/ImRonniemundt 5h ago
Yes. The 9/11 guys. Btw dont look into any 9/11 consipiracies. All of this makes perfect sense.
•
u/Codify-The-Preamble 5h ago
That’s not a conspiracy, the US also being involved or having prior knowledge is the conspiracy. Saudi Arabia’s involvement is incontrovertible.
•
•
•
u/Inevitable_Series_67 5h ago
Now Imagine the Irony of Iran genuinely only wanting nuclear power to power the country, they get shat on by the US and Israel, but Saudi Arabia ask for Enriched Uranium and Saudi just build nukes
•
u/Better_Teach_1623 5h ago
More good news coming out of this White House. What harrowingly wrong, evil, and/or stupid thing can this Tang-colored clown think up next?
•
u/Fun-Metal-6861 5h ago
Stop Iran, but allow Saudi
•
u/PorkbellyFL0P 5h ago
Yes. They helped us take down the Ottomans and have been one of the wests most stratiegic allies in the region for 100 years.
•
•
u/pokemomof03 4h ago
So what. They funded 9/11 and have a horrible track record when it comes to human rights.
•
•
u/Fun-Metal-6861 4h ago
I am not comfortable with it personally. An agreement is worse than just ignoring the fact that they are doing it. Basically we are sanctioning it.
•
u/Life_Argument7820 5h ago
But then give isreal our military... don't the saudis also not like isreal?
•
u/Fun-Metal-6861 5h ago
Yep, just goes to show it was never about nuclear weapon development.
•
u/Life_Argument7820 5h ago
Yeah, it's about using us to fund holy wars... give isreal our military then give Saudi nukes, saudi wants to nuke isreal which means???
•
u/Positive-Record-7219 5h ago
"You get an atomic bomb, you get an atomic bomb, everyone gets an atomic bomb! Iran? They already have, like, 2. One I gave myself! I'm the atomiquer, people even say I'm the atomiquest president ever!"
•
•
•
u/X-File_Imbecile 5h ago
All those Saudi investment dollars flowing into Trump adjacent companies has nothing to do with this.
•
•
u/ALIMN21 5h ago
Why does convicted felon Donald Trump get to unilaterally decide this?
•
u/lime3xx 5h ago
Because most of voting americans decided this
•
u/ALIMN21 5h ago
Thats not true. Trump won it with 49.8 percent, but that wasn’t a majority. With Democratic nominee Kamala Harris’s 48.3 percent and the 1.9 percent who voted for third-party candidates, more Americans voted against Trump than voted for him.
•
u/lime3xx 5h ago
49.8 vs 48.3 vs 1.9 . He won with the most number of votes (and that elector system you have, I'm not american) and I hate him, but that's democracy and be glad you still have it. You may not like who wins and how he rules but its better than dictatorship.
•
u/CuriousGeorgeToday 5h ago
Technically more of their people voted for him than any one other candidate though.
•
u/ALIMN21 5h ago
That is true, but the claim was most voting Americans voted for him, but they did not. Most voting Americans voted for candidates other than convicted felon Donald Trump.
•
u/CuriousGeorgeToday 5h ago
Splitting hairs in the grand scheme of things. 0.7% extra needed or something for a majority? Still a lot of people. Worst case you could say the country was split almost 50/50. Still a lot of votes.
•
u/ALIMN21 5h ago
Im done pretending words no longer have meanings. The GOP has butchered our language. The word majority has a meaning. You can dismiss it any way you like, but the meaning stands. Im sorry if it sounds like im coming at you. Im not. I have no fucks left to give with RW nonsense. Words have meanings. We need to use them correctly.
•
u/CuriousGeorgeToday 5h ago
If you have 3 candidates and one gets 49%+ of the vote and noone gets more than that, you could say trump won by a majority, meaning he was voted for by a majority. However, it would be wrong to say that the majority of the country voted for him. Gets confusing but both statements are technically true. However, we are still talking about the difference of 0.7% to go from majority in both cases. It's still pretty representative of the US people or at least 1 in 2 that you'd meet would be fair.
•
u/Millyedge2 5h ago
Imagine 9/11 with nukes?
•
u/iwanashagTwitch 5h ago
It's fairly easy to imagine that after 9/11 with nukes, the majority of the world would no longer be populated
•
•
u/abd53 5h ago
Calm down. Saudis aren't gonna make nukes, it would be a miracle if those incompetent nincompoops could. Either US sells them some or some US agencies set up and operate facilities in SA.
