Kiev got hit really bad

u/Ok-Pomegranate7374 1h ago

That's not in Ukraine

u/ResolveLeather 1h ago

Who knew wild berries were so flammable!

u/No-Duck4828 1h ago

Significant losses

No shit....you don't get fire that big without something to burn

u/Sir_Cthulhu_N_You 2h ago

But did wildberries even say thank you ?

u/rimreaper2253 2h ago edited 44m ago

ive seen videos of supposed people who use this company for distribution and they are claiming that the insurance they had with wildberries isnt going to pay out and they claim its due to the insurance not having wording for drone strikes.

u/Boring-Age7393 48m ago

I mean that’s normal in the US. Whenever I’ve handled personal commercial insurance there were clear exclusions. Every policy I handled had exclusions for war, nuclear hazards, government action, or terrorism.

Insurance is not designed to respond to war losses; any recovery would be issued through state authorities. Not sure if Russia has an equivalent.

u/Ok_Primary_1075 38m ago

Well, putin refuses to call it a war…

u/posthuman04 1h ago

They modified their insurance policy just days before the drone strikes because Ukraine was attacking the supply network for Russia’s armed forces and they knew they were part of that chain. The one to blame is of course the Russian government that no one can even criticize for starting the war and using Wildberries while not effectively defending it

u/ThankuConan 2h ago

Dunno, everything looks fine to me. Did some of the warehouse not get hit? That'd be too bad.

u/aware4ever 2h ago

I hope there was a on site daycare for the workers there and that got hit too! Yeahh!

u/PeaceJoy4EVER 3h ago

Recovery? They’re still losing a couple warehouses a night.

u/expect-a-forest 3h ago

Go Ukraine! Bet Russia never thought they’d still be in a war with this little but mighty country all these years later.

u/Weird-Toe-6968 4h ago

What is stored there? Gasoline? Yikes

u/dunncrew 3h ago

Camouflage equipment, drones, night vision goggles, etc...

u/protector111 3h ago

Everything you can think of from toilet paper, Gasoline, Food (oils) to playstation, Ecoflow Power stations and fireworks. Basically anything you can think of you can buy there - (including lighters, matches, solid fuel tablets, fire starters, aerosols, some paints and solvents, and certain automotive or technical fluids.) exept for illegal stuff like weapons and drugs

u/zachrywd 4h ago

Toilet paper and lip filler.

u/snoopydoo123 4h ago

and drone parts

u/NotUrDadiBlameUrMoma 3h ago

& vodka

u/butthatschris 3h ago

How does a recovery operation work during a raging fire?

u/RegisterNo9240 3h ago

I feel like if it were me I would wait until the flames are out, but I would tell my boss we are doing everything we can to recover their assets 😜

Angry upvote

u/Normal-Help-1337 5h ago

This made me laugh a lot thanks 😊

u/aukstais 6h ago

I would usually say something about bombing civilians, but at this point russians had it coming. Can't expect that russians can bomb multistory civilians buildings and not expect a retaliation. Like it's always sad thst innocent people die and won't return to their families, but this is the reality of war.

u/masnart 2h ago

Their leader can stop this any second, like that time he asked not to bomb their victory parade

u/Russkun 2h ago

This was not a civilian target. This is a warehouse suppling materials to the military.

u/Ok-Afternoon7633 4h ago

Good Jew

u/jackpott443 3h ago

Quiet orc, the adults are talking

u/Smart-Bonus-6589 6h ago

Wildberries has a category for military equipment called "Everything for the SVO." There are 228,322 different products listed in that category. Including body armor, uniforms, fiber optic cables, drone parts, batteries, EW jammers, you name it.

u/pleb_username 5h ago

Yep, and not only stuff that could be interpreted as camping gear or whatever, like they even sell the part for the drones that drops the actual grenade.

u/[deleted] 6h ago

[deleted]

u/Codwarzoner 6h ago

WB in russia is helping with military logistics and these warehouses are full of Chinese components and hardware for drones. It’s a direct military target now.

You can’t compare these strikes to what russia does by dropping guided bombs on residential buildings in the middle of downtown

u/aukstais 6h ago

There is no peace process here. Russia has stated numerous times that it won't back out from Ukranian theritorry. So mad Russisns are really not a problem for Ukraine anymore. They can ask their government why it didn't protect them. And the faster they will learn that they are vulnerable the better. Maybe then they will ask for peace talks.

u/jwrx 6h ago

theres a diffrence...ukranian civilians know there is no surrender..its a fight for existense. Russians can revolt/coup/kick out putin

u/Mediocre-Delivery-54 7h ago

Wow! Goida?

u/Lifeguard-Working 7h ago

So no fire suppression?

u/Jehoke 6h ago

No drone suppression.

u/Warm-Professional494 2h ago

Drone suppression may have caused this! Seeing their AA just fire level and rake the city was pretty fun.

u/C_sapidus 6h ago

Russians: "What fire? There is no fire."

u/ReplacementClear7122 7h ago

Bummer.

u/DerZehnteZahnarzt 7h ago

How, when the Firefighters have no Gasoline for the Trucks?

u/ImperatorDanorum 7h ago

Wonder what they are storing in those buildings that burns so fiercely...

u/spidermousey 7h ago

Plastic bags, cardboard and batteries.

u/DerZehnteZahnarzt 7h ago

They sell tactical Gears, parts for Drones and other military stuff.

u/spidermousey 6h ago

I know. Its also their version of amazon so they will have a ton of flammable stuff that's used for packing.

u/DerZehnteZahnarzt 6h ago

Its more like their Amazon+Walmart+Temu. 1/3 of all russians (40Mio) order stuff there per month with 1Mio sellers

u/spidermousey 6h ago

Perfect target really. The more disruption caused in the country the better.

u/Shadow293 7h ago

Vodka and cigarettes.

u/Sean_theLeprachaun 7h ago

Recovery?

u/acdbddh 6h ago

It’s a cloud based recovery process

u/reddfoxx1993 10h ago

Ukraine should do the same to one of Putin's palaces.

u/Interesting-Effort12 5h ago

The main rule in this war you can’t touch government and officials! Only civilians must suffer, homes and buildings of politicians is a big no no

u/reddfoxx1993 2h ago

The Russians have tried to assassinate Zelenskyy.

u/Interesting-Effort12 2h ago

When? Were? How? Still, what about other people who are in charge of things? Rich people etc.

u/Next-Mushroom-9518 7h ago

One of the only places in Russia that has decent defences lmao. Putin cares more about his Palace walls than the homes and lifes of Russians.

u/OkCoast5312 9h ago edited 9h ago

Much harder. Armed guards, anti-aircraft equipment, and almost definitely electro-magnetic fields.

u/Hellstorm901 11h ago

What are they hoping to recover? The non flammable objects?

u/brambleburry1002 2h ago

Temu doesn't make nonflamible stuff

u/InterstellarWings 10h ago

People?

u/hwyl1066 6h ago

A modern warehouse? Not many there

Where are these docs / reporting on them? Not doubting, just don’t see much value in claims without sources.

u/DickInA-Blender 12h ago

Yea.....looks like that fire is being fueled by idk, the hopes and dreams of Russians? Holy fuck thats a big fire

u/threwordbotname 12h ago

How does this work. Are they not the owner of the goods? Are they not the seller?

u/[deleted] 12h ago

[deleted]

u/uicheeck 11h ago

to add to the story:

  • owner were involved in very controversial company takeover by a smaller company (order of magnitude smaller but owned by "right" people). Many forces were involved, including so called president of Russia V. Putin, his cronies from Chechnya inc. R. Kadyrov and other figures. Company office were taken with gunfires and all that, one of the owners was pushed out.

Then, after some time, they decided to expand their offert with that clause that they will not compensate anything to the sellers.

And, a week later, Ukraine started bombing them like there is no tomorrow.

I don't know how you guys, I see there many interesting points to speculate

u/KaQuu 11h ago

putler cronies takeover a company -> Start using it to supply war effort -> Ukraine see that, and start bombing -> army logistics get restricted (we are here)-> unaware ruzzia population blames Ukraine for obstructing their e-commerce, totally unaware that this company become a front for failing army logistics.

It's pretty straightforward, not much to speculate over.

u/samrocksc 12h ago

To be honest....wow, that's a huge strategic target.....think about when all those warehouses in the US went up in flames.

u/Ehotxep 9h ago

Ah, yeah, huge strategic target full of diapers, shampoos and other grocerries and clothes. Totally legit

u/Relevant_Program_958 54m ago

They had a whole section of their website dedicated to stuff for the Ukraine war, drones, body armor, fiber optic line, parts to retrofit civilian drones for carrying and releasing munitions, etc. it was a valid target.

u/jackpott443 3h ago

All of Russia became fair game in February 2022

u/tmmzc85 8h ago

What's the connection to being a smut poster and lacking any proportionality when it comes to one's morals? Can you literally not differentiate between what is good and what feels good?

u/Software_Dependent 8h ago

I looked at the profile having read your comment and I'm slightly disappointed that there isn't a 500 ft tall cliff next to me that I can throw myself off.

u/skend24 8h ago

And military equipment

u/Ehotxep 8h ago

What kind of military equipment are they selling there? DIY drone kits which is not a military equipment and plate carriers from temu? Or we now count every drone as a military equipment?

u/dunncrew 3h ago

Drones, camouflage gear, night vision, fiber optic cable etc...

u/xalibr 5h ago

Look at the Russians now talking nuances after bombing maternity wards for years ;D

u/Ectopic_elm 8h ago

When in comes to the Russian military, yes. And this is much better than targeting civilian residences.

u/Dull_Rutabaga_1659 9h ago edited 5h ago

Sorry, cant hear you over years of hospitals and daycare bombings.

They sell fpv drone parts and armor to Russian soldiers so they can get fucked.

Leave Ukraine and the war is over that same day.

Edit: FPV autod to five

Roll charlie around a bit he be aight

u/Duzzies101 12h ago

God damn that's a serious fkn fire

u/Key_Performer_3645 12h ago

These marketplaces sell components for FPV drones, so they are a legitimate target

u/gipszjakab123 12h ago

Sure buddy

u/angrytoaad 6h ago

Sad little vlad

u/Own-Support-6734 10h ago

Follow me:

This war started via Russian aggression.

In war, the terms of engagement are set by the aggressor.

Russia has been targeting businesses and civilian sites in Ukraine since day 1.

If bringing the war to Russia itself is the only way to make them stop killing Ukrainians, then that is what Ukraine has to do.

u/KinnyWater 11h ago

Even if they don’t, fuck Russia and their warehouses.

u/BigBeefyBill 11h ago

Found the Hungarian Russian boot licker

u/bs2k2_point_0 7h ago

Boot licker sure. But Hungarian?? Did you forget about the Hungarian revolution of 56?

u/BigBeefyBill 7h ago

The user is Hungarian, and a Russian boot licker, hence my use of the words Hungarian and Russian

u/bs2k2_point_0 4h ago

Fair enough

u/southwest_barfight 11h ago

He is correct. If Russia want to target schools, hospitals, and residential apartments. This is fair game.

u/gipszjakab123 11h ago

So whats your opinion on ukraine killing those kids in the dorm? Or it only goes one way. Like israeli kids vs palestinians.

u/jackpott443 3h ago

yes, it goes one way.

Russia started this war, breaking a decades long treaty that had with Ukraine promising to never attack them if they gave up their nuclear weapons.

Russia has been attacking civilian targets and kidnapping Ukrainian children since the beginning of the war

If Russia stops fighting, the war ends. If Ukraine stops fighting, they die.

Putler is responsible for everything that has happened. Fuck Putin and Fuck Russia.

Slava Ukraini!!

u/Contrary_Kind 7h ago

Russians after striking a high-rise residential building: it was clearly an ammo depot.

Russians after Ukraine strikes a school of drone operators, all of whom are adults: what about Ukraine killing kids in a dorm!

u/Hour_Meet_8672 7h ago

Those killed in the dormitory were women, don't spread Ukrainian propaganda.

u/southwest_barfight 11h ago

Russia are responsible for every single one of their civilians harmed. Putin chose to put them in harms way by breaking international law starting a vanity war he apparently does not have the capability to win.

u/PhantomlyReaper 11h ago

It's even simpler than that. Russia was the one to initiate an invasion and conflict. So now they can't complain about what is done in retaliation.

They aren't owed an eye for an eye war. Ukraine is in the right no matter what they choose to do in order to defend their country and people.

u/gipszjakab123 11h ago

Jesus fucking christ. Thats enough reddit retardation for now

u/skend24 10h ago

Bruh looked in the mirror

u/gipszjakab123 9h ago

Westoids when moral consistency is mentioned.

u/jackpott443 3h ago

Orcs when they suffer the consequences of their own actions

u/EffectiveGoogas 6h ago

As someone already pointed out, the Company sold FPV drone components to the russian army, therefore they are a legitimate target.

Fuck around and find out, can't feel Sorry for any russian that passively or actively supports their aggressive fascist governament

u/Yabrosif13 7h ago

Maybe everyone you talk to thinks a bit differently, and you haven’t been talking to a monolith.

u/skend24 9h ago

“Moral consistency” lmao. Moral consistency for me is defender can do whatever they want.

u/KinnyWater 11h ago

This is what it boils down in to. If you break in to someone’s home and attempt to kill them you have no argument against what happens to you.

Also we should mention russia strikes on electricity power plants to keep ukrainian civilians without energy and warmth in winter.

And i can bring more, so go f yourself for those 15 roubles you get for spreading such bs in the comments.

Yeah sure, why not? Guess you agree rusia can only fight civilians.

u/InternationalKing232 11h ago

Hmmmmm the irony. You must have been looking into a mirror lol

u/Wehti 11h ago

Go front lines, Egor

u/8inchesActivated 12h ago

They’re pretty good at fighting oil refineries, actually

u/Key_Performer_3645 12h ago

These marketplaces sell components for FPV drones, so they are a legitimate target

u/BanishedInPerpetuity 12h ago

And it's working. Burn it all down.

u/KaQuu 12h ago

It's still better than ruzzia hitting apartment buildings every night.

At least this ,, marketplace" was supporting the army logistically.

u/Murky-Bee-3559 12h ago

Did Ukraine fill up those drones with napalm or is it just the Temu stuff that burns like hell? Damn!

u/protector111 3h ago

there are a lot of flamable being sold (stored) there like lighters, matches, solid fuel tablets, fire starters, aerosols, some paints and solvents, and certain automotive or technical fluids etc

u/Interesting-Effort12 5h ago

I saw a video off one drone hit civilian apartment building and there was a lot of fire when it exploded. So yeah definitely it carry something very flammable

u/ThirdOfSeven 4h ago

It is called fuel, Sherlock

u/smeeon 12h ago

Warehouse stock is mostly cardboard-wrapped plastics and lithium-ion.

You couldn’t hope for a better tinderbox on a giant scale.

u/Murky-Bee-3559 12h ago

Ahh yes ofc, you’re totally right. Once those cardboard boxes start burning everything is lost. Pooring water on it will just as well destroy everything

u/GregoInc 12h ago

It's all the vodka burning.

u/SlippinGymy 13h ago

Maybe don’t attack other countries and this wouldn’t happen

u/DarkseidAntiLife 49m ago

Well it happened. Eu attack Libya and America now attacked Iran... Why Did Russia attack, why did diplomacy fail?

u/masnart 2h ago

And even if you do, the deal to stop this is on the table.

u/EntertainmentOwn8627 12h ago

So we can justify terrorism in NATO countries because they attacked several countries in the last decades?
