Maybe it was really a chlorinated water factory.

3

u/828jpc1 16d ago

That one dude was just trying to get some exercise and BOOM! Drone hits him…damn, when they say “when it’s your time to go” war sucks…

1

u/2b1b1 16d ago

Well stop killing Russian civilians

1

u/Wise-Ad-2956 10d ago

Only when ruzzians stop first.

2

u/Tepupkos 17d ago

If Poseidon targets our homes, we're gonna target Poseidon's home

Anyone else reminded of the pool in COD?

1

u/PermianMinerals 17d ago

That map sucked

The atlantian menace has finally been defeated, ukrainians will no longer be supplied with tridents

19

u/BrightPerspective 18d ago

Yeahhh they were hoping for civilian casualties here.

Gaza, Lebanon, Iran every day

1

u/gekazoid 17d ago

See, people, this is what’s called “whataboutism” - a result of moderate brain damage.

1

u/General_Scipio 17d ago

No not whataboutism.

Just dark humour. And pointing out that our hands are far from clean

I don't for one second pretend that the crimes against humanity the west commit are even close to the crimes commited by the likes of Russia, China and Iran. (Not sure I include Israel in that statement, the states actions are now on a moral level equivalent to those others to me).

It's not a what aboutism to point out that our hands are far from clean and for all our bullshit about our advanced tech and precision strikes the US hit a fucking girls school full of kids... And we just moved on like nothing happened.

But I don't want to distract and move the conversation away from the war crimes of Russia.

5

u/General_Scipio 18d ago

Absolutely nonsense.

The Israeli and American intelligence are far too advanced to accidentally hit an empty swimming pool.

Got to wait for the school girls to arrive

0

u/Beautiful-Loss7663 18d ago

No it's literally Ukraine today dummy. Smh read the title.

16

u/Extension-Badger-958 18d ago

I know explosions under water are actually much more dangerous than in atmosphere. Something about the pressure waves shredding internal organs. Are these people good?

9

u/Life-Top6314 18d ago

Depends, on where the bomb detonated.

If it detonated in water, yeah, theyre dead.

If it detonated above them, and what were seeing is just a wave of debris, then they probably have a better than average chance of surviving - since a lot of the shrapnel would be slowed down befor ehitting them

1

u/ThermoPuclearNizza 18d ago

Could have penetrated and detonated underground as well

3

u/BrightPerspective 18d ago

If the bomb detonated in or near the water, those people are jelly.

3

u/Thotmas01 18d ago

I’m going to lean optimistic and say that the explosion occurred on the roof of the building itself. Falling debris is scary but it’s not certain death like a bomb detonating in water.

10

u/Genepool13 18d ago

"Water = 2 Hydrogen + Oxygen. Hydrogen makes hydrogen bomb. Therefore Ukrainian = Nazis" -Russian education in a nutshell

8

u/CarrotSudden4448 18d ago

That's the biggest bomb anyone has attempted in that pool.

-1

u/Intelligent-Low4753 18d ago

I am a friend of dark humour, but this joke goes too far. There were people in that pool.

0

u/CarrotSudden4448 17d ago

You know dark humour too! What a coincidence! I thought I was the only person that knew someone named Dark Humour.

1

u/Bel_Canto-Size_Queen 17d ago

you are not a friend of dark humour

8

u/Ill-Intention-306 19d ago

Technically if you pee into a swimming pool the the hypochloite ions react with urea to make (among other things) trichloramine, which is actually explosive.

This was obviously a super dangerous piss bomb manufacturing plant.

2

u/DragonLordAcar 18d ago

I live how we are all taking a piss with this one

4

u/ZampanoGuy 19d ago

Rough way to go. Water explosions aren’t conducive to life.

14

u/ThereBMoose 19d ago

These days, why anyone would believe a single word the wealthy and powerful say about what they are doing is beyond me. It's always deadly lies. Always.

10

u/Still_Item1975 19d ago

Say his name: Putin!

6

u/MadScienzz 19d ago

Yeah, they make water bombs here. The balloons are next door LOL

3

u/Time_Change4156 19d ago

But why lie they would get a better reaction saying it's a public pool . That kind of lie is much more likely for them to use .

19

u/Okidoky123 19d ago

Russian authorities always lie. Always. They never not lie. 100%. Not 99.9999%. 100%. Every. Single. Time. There are no exceptions.

As for this target, it's obviously to discourage any kind of mental release, to prevent people from finding enjoyment out of anything.

2

u/Shoddy_Juggernaut_11 19d ago

A water bomb is technically military equipment

6

u/Mythandros1 19d ago

Typical of Russia to lie. Unsurprising.

5

u/StatelessGoose 19d ago

Honestly after the hit water looks so comfi and warm

10

u/jmhabel 19d ago

Water is a hard target😀😀😀

3

u/BoxersOrCaseBriefs 19d ago

Depends how fast you're going when you hit it.

13

u/Large-Assignment9320 19d ago

Swimming = good for health. Healthy soldiers = dangerous military equipment, Russia logic probably.

23

u/Murky_Astronaut 19d ago

Russia always lies. Is someone from the Russian government speaking? They are lying. Is it Russian media? Lying. RT? Lying.

Russia has been attacking Ukrainian civilian infrastructure since day one.

6

u/Safe-Industry2465 19d ago

Imperial russia is straight up evil

-16

u/Wise-Ad-6391 19d ago

Ukraine shot it down. Was intended for another target.

0

u/QuantumGoose42 19d ago

Could be more than one drone they used?

10

u/CookieCrumblers 19d ago

Did the people in the swimming pool survive?

4

u/Never-Dont-Give-Up 19d ago

We’re gonna need a bigger skimmer

1

u/TheSJDRising 19d ago

This. Will need a vac to waste at least.

18

u/jcready92 19d ago

Seems to be common war practice. We did the same thing to a school somewhere recently. We said it was outdated info. They will probably say the same thing.

0

u/samsep1al 19d ago

We used outdated targeting data that was fed into the AI system used to paint targets, it’s not complicated.

5

u/Inside-Example-7010 19d ago

it wasnt outdated info. It was info from Israel that the US followed without doing independent verification.

2

u/jcready92 19d ago

Im not saying youre wrong but, a quick Google search says otherwise.

4

u/Inside-Example-7010 19d ago

Well formally the US hasnt given an answer infact their answer was "we probably will never have an answer" I wish i could just google for facts about this war but its not that easy. You have to watch both sides of the bullshit and assume the truth lies inbetween.

2

u/Israelsupporter01 19d ago

Literally still not justified

3

u/Inside-Example-7010 19d ago

ofcourse its not justified. But israel loves to target schools more than any other nation.

1

u/importantmessagefrom 18d ago

Nah that’s still russia, and not even close.

2

u/Independent-Bug-9352 19d ago

Indeed. Bibi needs tried at The Hague just as much as Putin.

2

u/Inside_Marketing268 19d ago

They just don't have any intel, so, not to get terminated- UAV operators would claim anything to survive

1

u/Ok_Presentation_4971 19d ago

What about fucking google earth

1

u/Inside_Marketing268 19d ago

They bw like: we see a roof, it's big, let's say it's a military warehouse or secret base. Much better, than be a cannon fodder. I've got an old airfield nearby, that was abondoned in '94, and people were using it for cart race, untill the war. And what? Each year, ruzis hit it 2-3 times a month, lmao.

1

u/Ok_Presentation_4971 19d ago

And then you see the giant label that say

Community pool.
Hours:8Am-8Pm
reviews: great pool! Hope I don’t get fucking bombed on my head!

1

u/unknowfun115 19d ago

Assault pools new wmd watch out

-2

u/No_Phrase_7565 19d ago

Porque los cuarteles militares no pueden usar piscinas?

4

u/Techn028 19d ago

They claimed they hit a factory. Either way it's a lie.

-1

u/Gryffinsmore 19d ago

Welp no practice tonight.

5

u/swagylord1337 19d ago

Swiming pool, military facilty, all the same thing to Ruzzia killers

1

u/FlakyIntroduction289 19d ago

This can't be the only target out, there are 33 others

-23

u/Icy-Music1932 19d ago

A bit like a Ukrainian drone recently hit a bus full of school children?

3

u/Sikarra16 19d ago

Stop attacking Ukraine and Ukraine will not attack you. It's really very simple

9

u/Sweaty-Durian-892 19d ago

How many Ukrainian children has Ruzzia intentionally killed already?? Ukrainian drones aren't targeting those civilian targets, they get derailed or shot down. Time for Ruzzians to take some responsibility from the war and war crimes they started as well.

9

u/ElbryanWyn 19d ago

It wasn't going to hit the bus stop. It's not Ukraine's fault that you're air defense cares more about the factories than the people that work at them.

If you just let Ukraine hit all the targets it's aiming for, most civilians will be safe. If you work for a company that produces weapons in Russia stop working there, it's not safe.

11

u/Holographic247 19d ago

Hope you’re enjoying the 3 mile queues for petrol, Ivan!

5

u/RobertTheTraveler 19d ago

It's possible that Russian drone made a similar mistake. The ones going down residential streets? The missiles that in the middle of winter regularly hit power plants that provided heat to civilian housing? Those weren't mistakes. Those were intentional strikes on civilians.

13

u/Olarupan 19d ago

Still Russians fault. Don’t invade other countries.

-12

u/Rockel83 19d ago

I don't see any drone...

3

u/ShadowWolf2508 19d ago

I guess you also didn't see the people swimming where it hit, because you have to be next level stupid to make a comment like that if you did.

0

u/Rockel83 19d ago

The people are obvious from the recording, the "drone" isn't...

At least I'm not seeing things that aren't there...

5

u/Nerdydirtyhurty 19d ago

Because... it didn't go in the pool? It launched the missile, hpw would you see it on this camera lol

-4

u/Rockel83 19d ago

Who or what launched a missile than?

I know that on the same time of impact also a lost reindeer of Santa Clause flew over, but that's also not on camera...

7

u/Philip_Raven 19d ago

I am not willing to accept this as your argument.

You have to be rage baiting...

-6

u/Rockel83 19d ago

Not relevant what you're willing to accept or not...

There're also people that accept to believe that the earth is flat.

4

u/Philip_Raven 19d ago

It's kinda relevant since this is public forum and you expressed your opinion on it. So it is more than relevant that public (that includes me) can scrutinize that opinion.

It might not be relevant to you, but this isn't 1v1 debate.

So calm down your sigma behaviour.

0

u/Rockel83 19d ago

"but this isn't 1v1 debate"

It actually is, and you actually had chosen to have this debate :)

11

u/swainiscadianreborn 19d ago

It's clearly a submarine training facility!

10

u/Mahmud-kun 19d ago

The orcs are at it again. The West should have united to stop their terror in 1945. The second best time would be now

4

u/Wolf_of_Fasting_St 19d ago

Orcs were an effective and a lethal force in LOTR. Russia is worthless in combat and crippled by corruption. Russias ability is literally lies and smoke and mirrors. Versus a first world military like China UK OR USA Russia would be totally annihilated in days

1

u/Braisedbeefskank 19d ago

The west is constantly murdering civilians with bombs, what are you on about?

3

u/PeteTheGreen 19d ago

Can we not call them Orcs? That's a cool fantasy race. Don't do to Orcs what Nazis did to Hindu swastika :(

4

u/slicksilker 19d ago

You mean side with nazi germany? Yea good idea pal

1

u/General_Cheetah4724 19d ago

the irony. the soviets started ww2 on the nazis side.

2

u/Braisedbeefskank 19d ago

Well, no, they started with a non aggression pact.

3

u/General_Cheetah4724 19d ago

"

Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact, a non-aggression treaty that included a secret protocol dividing Eastern Europe into German and Soviet spheres of influence.

The Invasion: Following Germany's invasion of Poland on September 1, 1939, the Soviet Union invaded eastern Poland on September 17, 1939, coordinating with German forces and celebrating the conquest with a joint military parade in Brest-Litovsk. "

also stalin asked to join the axis but got turned own.

2

u/Braisedbeefskank 19d ago

You know as someone who likes history i biffed that one, I just remembered the pact being called a non aggression, and then Hitler did betray them by invading. Very true about the Poland invasion. What i will say is soviets killed far more nazis than anyone else. Canada tried to put a bunch of nazis on the victims of communism memorial lol

2

u/General_Cheetah4724 19d ago

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned

2

u/Braisedbeefskank 19d ago

Or a people defending an invasion of their country by nazis, also lots of fury there. Germany would have won the war without the ussr.

0

u/General_Cheetah4724 19d ago edited 18d ago

invaded like ukraine has been you mean? also, germany would have lost to UK and the States as well but it would have taken longer. if the soviets had been accepted into the axis it might have been interesting.

edited. added the missing "been"

2

u/Mahmud-kun 19d ago

First Ivan has arrived

2

u/Zander3636 19d ago

My guy believing that siding with the Nazis to invade the Soviets is a bad idea doesn't mean someone's a fucking Russian Government Plant.

-1

u/Mahmud-kun 19d ago

Second ivan without any knowledge of history has arrived. One would think that it might be embarrassing to take part into a discussion when you are this uneducated but apparently not

5

u/Zander3636 19d ago

You didn't actually say anything other then "should have destroyed them in 1945" and I'm the uneducated one?

So you think we should have rearmed the Weirmacht like Churchill wanted? The same Weirmacht that had genocided millions when they marched east the first time?

0

u/Mahmud-kun 19d ago

Yes they should've

0

u/slicksilker 19d ago

Fascist

0

u/Mahmud-kun 19d ago

Ussr was a shithole dictatorship then and russia is a shithole dictatorship now. It was a blunder of the century from Roosevelt to give lend-lease to soviets as without that the nazis would have destroyed the USSR but get stretched too thin and it would've been easy for the western nations to waltz on in and destroy the nazis. Would have been two birds with one stone

9

u/Professional-Key5772 19d ago

1945… learn to read, nazi germany had already been defeated, stop being obtuse

0

u/roderickli 19d ago

Dont know who spread the fake news nowadays

16

u/Intergalatic_Baker 19d ago

If you didn’t know, then you leave a very sheltered life. Russian has always been lying, they’re lying when they try and tell the truth to the point where people just say they’re still lying.

9

Not even russian civilians trust their own government

Have a nice day ruzzo sympathizer.

0

Lmao this guy said that spreading misinformation is one of the biggest things in war and somehow you think he is spreading misinformation although he never stated any information or facts. Ironic.

1

Oh buddy we dont care that you care about the russian governments opinion or thoughts on the matter.

The evidence is on video and you are still arguing

ruzzo orc

0

-15

u/shushin95 19d ago

Там в Киеве уже снекны все ТЭЦ , топливные заправки и все НПЗ , горят заводы, склады с оружием и боеприпасами, в вы рассказывайте про бассейн. У вас все нормально?

1

u/IllustriousIron3253 19d ago edited 19d ago

How much of your family is currently dead from this war? I bet you don't care.

3

u/climbmapleswithwords 19d ago

Because all the things you mentioned first are pretty legit targets so not really out of the ordinary or unexpected in a war... Hitting a swimming pool, not so much. That's makes it a bit more of a talking point.

1

u/shushin95 19d ago

Вы серьезно верите что Россия будет тратить ракеты которые стоят миллионы долларов на бассейны? У вас все нормально с головой?

1

u/climbmapleswithwords 19d ago

No I don't... but the title of the video is that a missile hit a swimming pool, not that they targeted it. The fact they claimed they hit a military target means they either targeting it unknowingly, genuinely thinking it was a legit target (bad intel, although I bet that pool has been there since before the war) , OR it was intercepted by EW or AD, in which case why not just say 'the pool wasn't the intended target'.

1

u/Andszelo_boss 19d ago

If they can waste millions to hit civilians, they'll have no problem to spend them for pools too

1

u/shushin95 19d ago

1

u/Andszelo_boss 19d ago

Guess you didn't see the videos of drones and missiles hitting apartments. And i also think you didn't see the videos where a drone hit by Russian anti-air fell on a factory and when a Russian anti-aircraft missile hit that building in Moscow making its roof explode. They've been hitting civilians almost everyday since February 2022. Are Ukrainian missiles always missing?

Oh, about the "Russia doesn't fight against civilians" part, look up Kherson human safari.

1

u/shushin95 19d ago

2

u/Andszelo_boss 19d ago

I know perfectly about the bus tragedy, and I condemn it without esitation. My support for Zelensky has lowered a lot since 2022. Still I don't like it when people try to defend what Russia is doing or try to deny it.

1

u/shushin95 19d ago

А как вот вы понимаете почему Россия напала на Украину? Интересно ваше мнение.

1

u/Andszelo_boss 19d ago

No idea. Expansionism maybe. But 100% not for "self defense".

Russia could have aimed at the military complex and missed by the time the drone arrived. I doubt they intentionally wanted to hit a swimming pool. Drone Jamming is a thing.

1

u/Xnut0 19d ago

There is no reason for Russia to target a swimming pool, it's eiter a complete miss on the intended target or it's a result of random terror bombing. Even with drones being inexpensive there is not much to gain by bombing a swimming pool, and I can't see why Russia would prioritize to cause minimal damage with so many other targets.

2

u/ealysillyforestthing 19d ago

Russia has been drone bombing people on the roads. Terror and cruelty is what they are about

4

u/[deleted] 19d ago

I don't doubt Russia intentionally attacks civilians to make them surrender.

11

u/Illustrious-Knee7998 19d ago

You've seemed to have forgotten that Russia started this war and shouldn't be attacking this country. They also could have not hit a swimming pool regardless of drone jamming if they hadn't invaded in the first place.

13

u/BigXthaPugg 19d ago

Russia also had such a good track record of not shooting apartment complexes, schools, and hospitals though! They would never! /s

9

u/Illustrious-Knee7998 19d ago

I really don't understand these people sometimes. Giving Russia the benefit of the doubt.

-2

u/More_Egg9278 19d ago

You won’t understand much until you get punched in the face

7

u/Professional-Big5886 19d ago

Yeah, then its ok. /s

-2

u/Ltb1993 19d ago

Yeah drone strikes are cheap massively produced ways of straining Air defence before the real attack happens with the added bonus that saturation can work well but not always perfect

Especially since it doesn't happen in a vacuum, the opposing military is looking to make sure the attack isn't as successful as possible

EW means that drones using GPS or any other electronic measure to correct or direct can be degraded. Meaning the targeting can fail. That applies to both sides, though drones can still if course be used to intentionally hit non military targets it's not a very clear messuring stick

It's more fitting to look to more accurate weapons because if it hits a target it'd either intentional or relying on bad information. If it happens alot there's more evidence of intent to hit civilians, a institutional trend. Or they have very unreliable sources of information. Or quite likely a bit of both, they want to hit something aiming for progress so the targets have a lower burden of proof and accepted high risk of civilian casualties

5

u/SnooTomatoes3032 19d ago

If it happens alot there's more evidence of intent to hit civilians, a institutional trend. Or they have very unreliable sources of information. Or quite likely a bit of both, they want to hit something aiming for progress so the targets have a lower burden of proof and accepted high risk of civilian casualties

Блядь, what more evidence do you want. Talking about trends and shit. They constantly bomb civilian infrastructure using drones and all sorts. Yesterday, they bombed a Red Cross warehouse and an apartment building using ballistic missiles that they claim are accurate to 10m. Ballistics can't be jammed, once they're falling, they're falling where they were planned to.

Stop giving these terrorists layway or benefit of the doubt.

0

u/Ltb1993 19d ago

I made a neutral statement about weaponry and how they can be used and the issues with their deployment

I'm not laying any claims of any side committing any crimes. None are fault free.

Especially with drones both sides face the same issues both with deploying drones and with stopping drones.

I even mentioned that the more accurate weapons are the ones that should be used as a litmus test in whether civilians are intentionally being targeted. I think you misread both my comment and the intentions

1

u/SnooTomatoes3032 19d ago

Saying 'if there's more evidence' is not neutral. There's mountains of it. That's calling downplaying war crimes by an aggressor state.

Proceeding to say you're not laying claims on an aggressor state (and also apparently laying fault on the people defending themselves) and making it a both sides argument despite how there's overwhelming evidence for one side doing pretty much all of it.

Bullshiterry of the highest order.

0

u/Ltb1993 18d ago

Firstly, let me repeat that you have misread my comment and made a few assumptions. Instead of engaging in a conversation to clarify things, you've gone straight to accusations and a misrepresentation of what I've said. I am a pro-Ukrainian commentator talking about the technical deployment of weapons, not the people deploying them.

My initial comment was in response to someone else saying Russia likely wanted to target a different area, which I think is more likely. If they were looking to intentionally target civilians in that moment, they would have hit an apartment building, something they routinely do with more accurate weapons. That is the higher burden of proof I am talking about.

I will always be skeptical of drone attack claims from either side because drones aren't particularly accurate in areas with heavy EW. It is much like when pro-Russian accounts claimed Ukraine intentionally hit a shopping mall when in reality, EW interfered with a weapon system that is incredibly easy to degrade. Because this is a hardware limitation, I look at the technology neutrally.

Where I am not skeptical is when cruise missiles hit Ukrainian apartment buildings. Those weapons are highly accurate and not particularly prone to EW. That is undeniable evidence of intentional targeting, and that is where we can clearly point to the Russian doctrine of terror.

There is plenty of real evidence to criticize Russia for without relying on a low burden of proof. When we have definitive proof of precision weapons targeting civilians, we don't need to use unreliable drone data as a measuring stick.

Please quote me in context properly next time and do not mistake technical analysis for apologism. Look at my comment history if you want a better picture of where I stand. I avoided naming sides initially because I couldn't be assed falling into a bad faith argument or a whataboutism trap.

Ukraine has openly acknowledged operating secret, distributed drone manufacturing sites, many deliberately concealed in ordinary-looking buildings to avoid Russian strikes. That's literally the point of keeping them secret. Where do you think Ukraine’s “Secret” drone factories are if not in nondescript buildings?
