She looks dumb. She's probably still standing there, thinking.

5

u/TurnoverIcy1998 May 25 '26

my response would have been "seriously? not again..."

3

u/panic_n_the_crisco May 25 '26

“What is that” no survival skills whatsoever.

u/Myshrimplikescamping May 25 '26 edited May 27 '26

I mean you can't blame here, i thought it was a bird at first then I realised it was just a car honk

1

At least it wasn’t a falling acorn

u/GI_Joe_getem May 25 '26

Ahh you almost rage baited me

2

u/ReferenceMuch4940 May 25 '26

“It’s early Memorial Day Celebration fireworks, what else could it be”

1

u/lyricjax May 25 '26

The lighting on her face doesnt match the outside lighting, could have a light on her but in broad daylight?

4

u/bladow5990 May 25 '26

She has two large softbox lights on either side of her. Look at the reflections in her eyes, when she's facing the camera you can see the lights. It's very common to use lights during the day in video. It is also common practice to try and match the existing outdoor lighting, and this is just an example of how not to do that and why it matters astheticly.

1

u/Sekkle_up May 25 '26

These reporters are each in a little tent that goes up this driveway. The tent is backlit with light and light diffusers.

1

u/ApprehensiveTask8376 May 25 '26

Common practice to have a light on the reporter. Doesnt matter if it was daylight or not. Also I think it was overcast that day

0

u/Wooden-Wall6028 May 25 '26

Yet she still saying “What Is That”? Gunshots lady, what they do just to report, what is that?.🤬

3

u/Street_Warthog_1791 May 25 '26

This shit is a looney tune adventure

1

u/Medium_Control_7572 May 25 '26

No survival instincts

1

u/death91380 May 25 '26

Tell me you don't know shit about guns without telling me you don't know shit about guns.

1

u/Pawl01 May 25 '26

Scorched earth they said. Instead we got few gunshots and a broken table

6

u/Astral-projekt May 25 '26

They expect us to believe any American doesn’t know what gunshots sound like?

0

u/LostTerminal May 26 '26

You sound pretty ignorant. Could you tell the difference between a back-firing engine on a ford pickup, an exploding power transformer, a string of firecrackers, a pneumatic driver, and an AR-15 semi-auto at a distance? Heck, even a failing metal structural support can make loud popping noises like this as it bends and creaks.

1

u/Jackwindinhair May 27 '26

Yes. I can tell the difference between all those.

1

u/NecessaryDiamond3831 May 26 '26

Yes. The answer is yes. Those can be easily distinguished by someone who has been around a lot of firearms. Something that has a projectile sounds different than something without.

1

u/LostTerminal May 26 '26

by someone who has been around a lot of firearms.

Thanks for proving the point.

This is not everyone.

1

u/Astral-projekt May 26 '26

No you’re ignorant! What a constructive conversation holy shit dog. Yeah bro a string of firecrackers in front of the wh… def something I’m not going to react from LOL

1

u/LostTerminal May 26 '26

Yeah. Wait. I'm just gonna block you. It's not worth getting your stupid on me somewhere.

1

u/No-Bike791 May 26 '26

A gun shot can sound like a few different things depending on your proximity.

1

u/Waterworld1880 May 25 '26

I mean maybe if you don’t live on reddit

1

u/Polarbearstein May 25 '26

I never heard gun shots until I was in close proximity to a highway patrol training academy, when they were doing target practice. I heard it from outside after stopping by a coffee shop.

1

u/RecklessCube May 25 '26

I’ve lived my entire life and never heard someone shoot or even brandish a firearm. I also live in America?

1

u/[deleted] May 25 '26 edited Jun 06 '26

[deleted]

0

u/Astral-projekt May 25 '26

Yeah, but people don’t hear noises like this and not err on the side of caution when we are at the literal most divided point we have been in a long time, holiday withstanding.

2

u/Callmemabryartistry May 25 '26

could have had the scoop but too dumb to know what a firefight sounds like. damn, we taught this shit in elementary school in america.

0

u/Beneficial_Cat2039 May 25 '26

Haar mond lijkt op een anus..

1

u/death91380 May 25 '26

That explains my instinct to want to put my penis in it.

9

u/tlhsg May 25 '26

we found the only remaining American, who doesn’t know what a gunshot sounds like

3

u/FatUSStig May 25 '26

If you've spent any time on a community Facebook page, you'd know she isn't the only one.

8

u/Trade_King May 25 '26

Genuinely looks like green screen and a skit

0

u/Simple-Sun2608 May 25 '26

What? I thought it was.

-1

u/westUk2022 May 25 '26

1

u/Illustrious_Camp_521 May 25 '26

From the green screen, this just in.

1

u/EVILHERO28 May 25 '26

It’s popcorn

1

u/Any-Seaworthiness531 May 25 '26

Either Trump is hated enough to have an assassination attempt weekly and shouldn’t be representing the country or its false flag attempts to garner public support and shouldn’t be representing the country.

Pick your poison

0

u/Anonymous__Android May 25 '26

How much support do you think he's getting after these?

1

u/Any-Seaworthiness531 May 25 '26

Dunno, I think his base would support him even if there was overwhelming evidence that he was a pedo so…. Lolz

0

u/Anonymous__Android May 25 '26

Right so staging assassination attempts is changing fuck all then?

1

u/Any-Seaworthiness531 May 26 '26

So it’s the other poison then ?

1

u/ncrn_99 May 25 '26

Weird how they knew it was an assassination attempt immediately

1

u/Anonymous__Android May 25 '26

What makes you think they knew that immediately?

4

u/RevolutionaryBug7588 May 25 '26

Thats you using a green-screen and using the recording of the event that happened at the whitehouse to get views….

7

u/CareerBallsacker May 25 '26

wHaT iS thAt - you should probably leave you moron

4

u/SoupOfThe90z May 25 '26

“What?”

5

u/Substantial_Grape_35 May 25 '26

You guys are the so called experts. Reporting on semi automatic weapons all the time. It’s On the Job Training, start low crawling like your colleague did a little bit ago

6

u/vidomx May 25 '26

Damn, she didn't even realize. She must have went to a school that never got shot up...lucky American!

0

u/Competitive_Watch514 May 25 '26

Braindead comment.

1

u/vidomx May 26 '26

😂😂😂🤪

1

u/snik25 May 25 '26

What a sheep

11

u/Fishtoart May 25 '26

You know how you can tell that these assassination attempts are false flags? They are all so incompetent, just like every people else in this administration.

0

u/jinnagubby May 25 '26

English isn’t your first language. Is it Spanish?Russian maybe?

-8

u/Steagle_Steagle May 25 '26

Or people are so indoctrinated by influencers like Hasan Piker that they think they need to risk their life to hurt the president

8

u/Terrible_Dish_9516 May 25 '26

I don’t think many people that have right wing ideology really listen to Hasan Piker and all the would be assassins have had right wing ties so that’s a very interesting theory you got there.

0

u/Anonymous__Android May 25 '26

This isn't true at all

0

u/WaltKerman May 25 '26

Some of the "right wing ties" have been "parents were right wing" despite them clearly becoming left wing after leaving their parents.

-2

u/Steagle_Steagle May 25 '26

Cope all you want, I guess

2

u/More_Screen_7836 May 25 '26

It’s literally this, the only type of person in the modern day that would throw their life away in an attempt to kill the president would be someone who is incompetent at everything. Someone with nothing to lose.

3

u/Wu1fu May 25 '26

HAHAHHAHAHA not the Hasan Piker name drop XD

1

u/weebglasses May 25 '26

Oh boy...piker has long fallen from the graces of the democratic party. Even his own supporters and the people he supported have abandoned him.

0

u/Wu1fu May 25 '26

I don’t know if I’d say that, Al-Sayed in MI got a boost after he associated more closely with Hasan and the ensuing media frenzy about decade+ old livestream clips. People tend to say they don’t like Hasan BUT that the whole “we need to excise Hasan from the party” shtick is dumb, from my readings.

1

u/weebglasses May 25 '26

The dude got a subpoena from the feds for his trip to cuba.

1

u/Steagle_Steagle May 25 '26

He also went to a German brothel that was later busted for human trafficking and having at least 1 minor working there

2

u/PearNo4159 May 25 '26

Question to the people with shooting experience: is it me or you can hear some strays on the trees?

4

u/DarkMorph18 May 25 '26

Der der stand there

3

u/SeveralSpinach6601 May 25 '26

I don't even know what to believe anymore. Also it's sad how most of us know what gunfire sounds like and how most kids in the US train for lockdowns. So sad. I feel bad for the kids.

1

u/09Klr650 May 25 '26

Strange school shootings were not an issue when I was in elementary and high school. And we even took rifles and shotguns TO SCHOOL to hunt afterwards. We made crossbows in shop class. So what changed? Because if guns were not an issue THEN . . .

1

u/This_Cricket2919 May 25 '26

Mass shooters and domestic terrorists replaced serial killers in the sense you are speaking of. And our society is a breeding ground of maladaptive behavior. Same shit, different generation.

1

u/09Klr650 May 25 '26

Hardly. We allowed mental disease to go untreated or even encouraged it. Se let killers out to kill again. We make excuses instead of making sure the violent and mentally ill cannot kill and hurt others. Want to eliminate the mass shooters? Pass a law. Their names are not to be recorded or posted anywhere. Just assign a number. No pictures. No notoriety. No legacy other than "violent and mentally ill person was killed while attempting a mass murder".

1

u/SeveralSpinach6601 May 25 '26

I went to school shortly after a bomb threat at another school made them take away lockers. I remember lockdown drills from junior high up. There were multiple shootings then too. Same year. Shook the nation. I guess after it happened, clearly we changed how we think about the issue and what schools prepare for. I wonder what the difference is too. But I am sad it is clearly still happening to kids in school now.

1

u/09Klr650 May 25 '26

Your time was after mine it seems.

1

u/SeveralSpinach6601 May 25 '26

For sure. Around the 2010s. No lockers, lockdown drills, we had shooting or bomb threats at least 4 times in one year and a threat to murder a teacher notably, which sent a few tweens to jail. I have heard from teens and parents in 2026 this year they still have the same concerns we had in 2010.

1

u/09Klr650 May 25 '26

But 25 years EARLIER it was not an issue. Guns have not really changed. Semi-auto is semi-auto. And we certainly had "scary high capacity" magazines. So again, what changed?

1

u/LostTerminal May 26 '26

25 years? Try just 5. I graduated in 2005 and we never had active shooter drills. This was after Columbine, too.

1

u/ineedaride123 May 25 '26

Maybe it's as simple as it's a fad or a meme. The idea is put out there in the world. It's adopted and adapted. Maybe certain medications increase the population of people that are receptive to the meme, increasing the odds that one of those people will inact it. Maybe it's not medication though. Maybe it's culture that is increasing the receptive population. I don't know

10

u/OccamIsRight May 25 '26

I thought DC was the safest place in the country after the National Guard was deployed.

3

u/ContrarianRPG May 25 '26

Trump gets shot at so often, the networks are going to need to start sending war reporters to the White House.

2

u/MichaelAuBelanger May 25 '26

Totally missed this. What actually happened here?

2

u/Low_Badger_9430 May 25 '26

This is B movie level acting lol

5

u/We_Are_Nerdish May 25 '26

People saying it looks fake or it’s like a green screen.. she is standing likely under a shade tent ( for when it rains, but mostly for brighter sunny days with harsh light ). She in front of studio lights on stands.

The White House as it’s in background, is just balanced to be a neutral middle ground brightness and the lighting makes her stand out from the background since she is the subject.. not the background.

Just movies and TV series shot outside, the actors are often lit by additional lights and shaded with sun blocking defusion panels to soften and dim the direct sun light.

Also, just because the mic picks up more distinct gun fire, it’s very well possible to normal hearing it was much more noise from echo’s reflecting around.

0

u/EmbarrassedBall7406 May 25 '26

Sure looks like a green screen shot to me.

2

u/JesterScribblings May 25 '26

Survival instinct of a Chicken wandering into KFC.

2

u/Top_Key404 May 25 '26

A very redditor comment.

6

u/Longjumping-Fig-2948 May 25 '26

This is yet another ploy to destroy the White House to replace it with his monstrous, tacky ballroom.

1

u/SpecialistAOne-79311 May 25 '26

Aren’t jails week built for maximum security? I keep hoping someone would mention that when the ballroom security excuse comes up in conversation

1

u/09Klr650 May 25 '26

As opposed to the run-down crap wing built in the 40's?

2

u/TheGuySawyer May 25 '26

Trump said he was funding it privately, now the richest politician on Earth says he needs our tax dollars to fund his ballroom. I miss when conservatives cared about the BS their tax dollars went to 🤦.

DEI initiatives for the past 4 years are cheaper than this ballroom will be btw.

0

u/09Klr650 May 25 '26

The SECURITY for the ballroom. Because you idiots keep trying to kill him. Fortunately you are as effective at that as you are making a budget and running your cities. How's all the "free" NYC services working out?

2

u/TheGuySawyer May 25 '26

I ask the richest politician in the world to pay for the ballroom he said he'd pay for and suddenly I personally am trying to kill him 😂. Quit being such a snowflake.

This shooting didn't even get close, the last one was stopped at a checkpoint. Seems like the security is working fine. I don't even believe these shootings are real unless you can prove how Trump's ear magically healed itself. Maybe he really is Jesus like he portrayed himself as.

How's that $2billion a day working out in Iran? We only need $200billion more in funds to open the strait that was already open before the war.

0

u/09Klr650 May 25 '26

"The last one". MULTIPLE attempts. Nice try liberal brainrot. And frankly I agree we should not be paying for all that in the middle east. A few well-placed kinetic kill bombs from stealth planes would handle it. Take out the leadership entirely. Play by THEIR rules.

2

u/TheGuySawyer May 25 '26

The last SHOOTING. Put what I said into context buddy because a random druggy pulling a revolver at a checkpoint isn't an assassination attempt.

As I stated, the security has worked fine. You still can't explain how Trump's ear grew back.

I can already tell you don't know anything about the Iran war because we already did take out the leadership. Iran prepared for that over 40 years ago.

You don't even have basic knowledge of recent events and you can't formulate an argument without mischaracterizing me or misrepresenting what I said.

1

u/raindropdropdropdrop May 25 '26

Rare ballroom defender

2

u/ZealousidealEarth575 May 24 '26

That’s Julie Tsirkin, she looked scared and puzzled and should have ran for cover. Thankfully the incident happened on the other side from where she was located.

3

u/Katsu_39 May 24 '26

Could it look more fake?

3

u/Longjumping-Fig-2948 May 25 '26

I heard this in Chandler Bings voice...but yeah 👍

1

u/Katsu_39 May 25 '26

Is that seriously one of his lines? Its been so long i dont remember much of anything

1

u/Longjumping-Fig-2948 May 26 '26

😂 no, I just remember that was his schtick... actually it would have been " could it BE more fake"?? 😂

Most rocks I know have survived for millennia...

3

u/97maple May 25 '26

Yeah it blows my mind that at her age she seems to have no idea what a gun sounds like or what it might sound like.

0

u/Ok-Kaleidoscope4510 May 24 '26

Good thing she was in front of the GREEN SCREEN in the studio… such BS!!!

3

u/RaifeBlakeVtM May 24 '26

Looks totally fake & green screened/AI.

2

u/flyfightandgrin May 24 '26

THEY TOOK OUR JOBS

6

u/Ok-Weakness-6585 May 24 '26

Horror movie supporting character

2

u/MrBoomer1951 May 24 '26

Did they get ‘im?

10

u/Highlord_Salem May 24 '26

This the sound track to trump's presidency.

3

u/Alternative_Sort_404 May 24 '26

Needs more hits… ;~D

8

u/OkAccess304 May 24 '26

She’s lived a very safe life and has zero self preservation skills or situational awareness.

1

u/Salt-Elk-436 May 25 '26

We shouldn’t consider having lived a very safe life to be a bad thing. Growing up around gunfire isn’t some type of flex.

Her self-preservation and survival skills could certainly use some work, but it’s not her fault that gunshots are an unfamiliar sound to her. They are to a lot of people

1

u/OkAccess304 May 25 '26

I never said it was a bad thing. You just did. Maybe you should stop projecting?

I didn’t grow up around gunfire. How is a critique of her response a flex of the life I didn’t have? I had a safe childhood. While that is not a bad thing, being so naive that your survival skills are zero, is a bad thing.

Sorry my observation triggered you, but you don’t have to be all that smart to understand successive loud booms are bad and abnormal.

6

u/NotUniqueWorkAccount May 24 '26

Now imagine how out of touch the Trump Epstein class are

1

u/OkAccess304 May 25 '26

Plenty of them know what gunfire sounds like.

your so cool bro

1

u/CummanderShepardN7 May 24 '26

What a weird thing to say

7

u/deep_anal May 24 '26

no... It's not normal to be around random gunfire all the time. Contrary to what you think, you are the odd one out.

1

u/dee_lio May 25 '26

It looks like She didn’t realize it was gunfire and it was wildly out of context. My guess is she hasn’t heard a lot of gunfire and was confused.

1

u/Jolly_Conclusion9166 May 24 '26

Ever been in the country? All the time , hunters normally or just shooting ranges or back yard target shooting. All the time . Cities people still hear it a decent amount lol it’s not actually odd deep anal lmao

1

u/gatewaynight May 24 '26

That is very much different than hearing it outside the White House. I don’t think it’s strange for someone’s brain to search for a more rational, normal reason for what that sound was.

1

u/Jolly_Conclusion9166 May 26 '26

Hell the comment was about just hearing gunfire. Now outside the white house sure, but in DC? Not uncommon lol. All in all it’s a pretty normal sound here

1

u/Opening-Dig697 May 24 '26

It's normal for a lot of Americans. Whether it's because of gang violence or hunters/target practice down the road in rural areas, I'd have immediately recognized the gunfire, because I've heard it hundreds of times over the past 30 years.

I just heard gunfire like six hours ago. Either target practice, or somebody got a deer.

Maybe you're the sheltered people we're referring to.

3

u/Previous_Fennel3737 May 24 '26

lol hilarious 😆

7

u/GrilledCheeseObamaMm May 24 '26

How can you call yourself an American and not clearly know that this is gunfire

2

u/ZealousidealEarth575 May 25 '26

I can vouch for that, I was born in Jersey City and my family moved to Detroit in 1982 during the beginning of the crack epidemic. I’ve been spending most of my life trying to get out of urban areas but with low pay and rent just high enough to limit my savings it’s really difficult to do. Gunshots are a common occurrence in every neighborhood I have lived in save for a brief few years when I moved to Redford, Michigan.

2

u/GrilledCheeseObamaMm May 25 '26

outside of the US, we just assume there are shots popping off everywhere 😂

1

u/ZealousidealEarth575 May 25 '26

Solid assumption. I wish we had sensible gun laws like they do elsewhere. 😢

0

u/Jeronimous84 May 24 '26

Think they've got schools outside the ghetto too

6

u/ChewyBits3000 May 24 '26

That's called "run!"

1

u/Electronic-Twat9195 May 24 '26

where?

1

u/ChewyBits3000 Jun 20 '26

Away from that sound.

15

u/CULLDOZER May 24 '26

How do I tell my doctor that this is the dosage of Lexapro that I require.

14

u/KingFry44 May 24 '26

Donald Trump is a weak president.

-2

u/CannonFoddererer May 24 '26

What does that have to do with this?

1

u/SoulflyMike42 May 24 '26

Its the easiest way to karma farm on reddit basically

6

u/rosskyo May 24 '26

A lot actually, shame you'd have to even ask that. Pay attention.

-2

u/Saemika May 24 '26

I’d argue that the weakest president was FDR. maybe had a solid bench, but his squat and deadlift would bring down his average dramatically.

-5

u/CannonFoddererer May 24 '26

This video is about a reporter hearing gunshots around the White House; Trump has nothing to do with this moment.

1

u/SnooKiwis233 May 25 '26
