I’ve been thinking about an idea that could potentially transform Jordan over the next few decades, and I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Imagine if every Jordanian citizen was responsible for planting one native tree every five years.
The government would:
Provide native tree seedlings for free (oak, carob, sidr, pistachio, juniper, etc., depending on the region).
Designate reforestation areas in every governorate.
Provide irrigation for the first two years using water tanks or drip irrigation.
Track each tree digitally so people can follow its growth.
Instead of relying mainly on fines, the program would reward people who successfully care for their trees through recognition, competitions, or small incentives.
The long-term vision
Jordan has a population of roughly 11 million.
That means:
Around 11 million trees planted every five years.
About 66 million trees planted over 30 years.
Even if only 75% survive, that’s still nearly 50 million mature trees.
Why this could matter
Reduce desertification and soil erosion.
Improve local biodiversity.
Lower temperatures in urban and rural areas through shade.
Improve air quality by capturing dust and storing carbon.
Create green spaces for future generations.
But here’s the part I’m most excited about
Instead of simply creating forests, why not develop them into national parks over time?
Each governorate could eventually have its own large forest park with:
Hiking and cycling trails.
Camping areas.
Visitor centers.
Restaurants and cafés operated by local businesses.
Children’s playgrounds.
Birdwatching areas.
Educational nature centers for schools.
Seasonal festivals and local markets.
These parks could generate tourism, create jobs, and become new attractions for both Jordanians and international visitors—while still serving their primary environmental purpose.
Obviously, there would be challenges:
Water management.
Choosing the right native species.
Preventing fires and overgrazing.
Long-term maintenance.
But with proper planning, I think it could become one of Jordan’s most impactful environmental projects.

I Was honestly skeptical about buying a used Parts ( GPU, CPU, MOBO ) in Jordan because of all the horror stories and the issues that may come with them. Ended up finding a page on instagram called PCYARD and bought the parts from them and after stress test results it's been running perfectly for a few months now. and its actually shocking have a store like that solely for the used market which is much better than facebook ngl

I'm an aspiring writer and I'm looking for other like minded people to share works with and exchange feedbacks. I mostly like writing highly psychological works. I'm working on my first novel currently and wrote a short story a while earlier.

To give you an idea, my short story describes a guy who is slowly losing his favourite person. He becomes obsessed with her to an unhealthy degree. He vents to someone, that someone stays with him, offer advice on how to deal with the situation, and celebrates any "achievements" with our main character. But there is a twist at the end. One that is thought provoking about one of the emerging issues we face as humans as of late. And it is related to the identity of our supporter.

I’m 23yo guy, I’m the youngest among my siblings and the only male, my mother and father were old when they had me, and I got punished for it all my life until now, I opened my eyes to this world and my father needed help (سند) I was literally 7 years old when I started going to work with him, and they always told me that should be responsible for my family and sisters, so I always obeyed whatever they all say, and for some reason they were convinced that if Im to be a good man; no one should show me a shred of love, so I lived all my childhood without a single hug or a nice word from my mom or any of them, all I ever was worried about is how I’m gonna make them proud of me, so I studied hard and made myself really smart and successful in literally everything (school, high school, college, sports, fixing everything in the house including cars) and they’re never proud or satisfied with anything I do, even now in work; I graduated last years and I got hired in a very big company and they still think that I don’t work hard enough, even though my father doesn’t work now and me and my sisters are the ones who are taking care of the financial situation in our house, they are always thanking my sisters and complaining about me

All that resulted a really bad feelings inside me towards them, especially my mother, cuz I don’t really know if this is accurate, but I always hear that no one would show you love and support like your mother and that really cuts me so deep that I never actually thought about telling her about how I feel cuz tbh I never felt that she’s actually my mother

And all of a sudden when I grew up a lil, I stated to feel that I actually need someone that’s willing to treat me in a good way, I hate to say it but I think that this is mommy issues, I never revealed that to anyone even to the girls that I were in a relationship with, I always act so tough and strong and no body would actually think that I might have any of this cuz I’m tall and big and never let anyone know that I need anything, I know that as a man I should be the one who’s taking care of her and give her all the emotional support, but I’m really tired of all of this

Now please can anyone tell me how can I deal with this issues and the feeling that I need someone?
