First time I've seen JW outside lol it was hot and humid but it felt right in the pit. Great show overall, close to as good when I saw him twice last year in Austin.
Everwise is a great, small ampitheater, highly recommend if you want a show with a reasonable size crowd. No phone show, which is usually okay, but I didn't realize there was an opening band and that unexpected long time threw me off a bit without a phone.
Played We're Going to be Friends, awesome, went directly into Broken Boy Solder, which made them both even more awesome. I thought those two together were the highlight of the night.
He really set us up on the encore... Played Lazaretto, then God and the... and Derecho first, so I was a bit disappointed, thinking it was going to be those second tier songs before Seven Nation Army, no offense lol. But then he played an awesome The Hardest Button to Button before Seven Nation, which together made for a great end.
I should note that while I like Frozen Charlotte, I LOVE No Name, so that's why I rate last year's concerts over this one tonight. Neighbors Blues on Frozen Charlotte is a great freaking song, thought.
EDIT: Don't get me wrong, it was an A+ show, just not quite the A+++ shows I saw last year. But I'd go to the next three shows this month if I could.
