Can a 14 still operate good on 18.7 update I am fearful to do 26 update with older battery , hear horror stories ?

Is iPhone 14 still good to use for normal phone users in 2026/2027?

I have waited to update to 26 , on 18.7 waited since many had issues ? My battery is at 76 runs well holds charge. Should I replace battery for $100 and update to 26 or 27 or wait out to buy new phone down the road ?

For those who have been using an iPhone 14 for around 3 years, what’s your current battery health and battery backup like? Have you replaced the battery? If yes, how is the battery backup after the replacement? My battery health is currently 77%.

Had the 14 for 3 years now and I love this phone however my mom has the 13 which is 1 year behind our phone and her phone is unusable, very very slow even after i optomized it , got rid of animations . It is so laggy which makes me nervous as to when our iphone will slow down requiring an upgrade.

Should I update to 26.5.2? There is an Apple warning my phone’s battery and performance may be adversely affected. This one’s almost paid off, and works well except battery now runs at 85 %. I am seriously considering having the battery replaced and keeping this phone indefinitely. I’d really appreciate any insights or opinions. Thank you!

1. iPhone14 running 26.5.2

2. Purchased Nov 2022 from Apple store in U.S. for personal use

3. When I get notifications from apps to enable photo access, there is no option to do that under the app or in camera or photo security/privacy settings

4. I have tried going into
   a/Settings-> Privacy&Security->Camera
   b/ Settings-> Privacy&Security->Photos
   There are no applicable options to configure in either one. Apps that have recently requested access are not listed

I have also tried
c/ Settings-> Screen Time-> Content & Privacy Restrictions-> Photos to ensure it is set to Allow. d/ Each individual app's settings. There are options to configure/allow access to Siri, Search, Notifications, Live Activities, Background App Refresh, Cellular Data, Allow Tracking, and Language. Nothing to configure/allow Photos access

2. The problem did not start with the current OS. Idk which version it started with. Some of my apps are configured to allow Photos by add only, so I know it worked at some point/in some OS(s?)

Does phone woth buyng in big 2026? And also, for how many years will it get IOS updates? I need fon to work normaly without overheating and battery draining for 3-4 years, and then i am going to switch.

i recently bought an iphone 14 pro that is used and has a 95% battery health, it’s in good condition i also bought a good charger everything is perfect
only issue is whenever i use the phone like doing anything watching videos, reading, looking at pictures, chatting my phone heat, it doesn’t heat at the point where i get a warning message or is impossible to hold but kinda get warm, i tried
changing some settings but nothing worked
any solutions to what i should do?

Hi guys, I’ve been using the iPhone 14 Pro Max for the past two years, but somehow I still can’t figure out how to take good photos with it.
Also, whenever I take selfies with the front camera, they turn out looking really bad and are sometimes slightly blurry as well.
Does anyone have any tips or settings recommendations that could help improve the camera quality?

Display turned into green all of sudden, didn't drop it in water or nothing happened major, now as this is my dad's phone so there's lots of photos and everything. Is there a way to transfer all those data into an new iPhone?

Need urgent help!!
