Helicopters transport people to hospitals

Oh shit! I thought it was a flight upward... I mean to upward on other side. Kinda surprised when I saw 280 people died from flood, thank God it's not that

Yeah not that luckily, 2 people died.

When helicopters fly over to rescue someone. Because of the flood no one could drive so they needed the helicopters for rescue

This is just known as a helicopter rescue. Life flight refers to a flying ambulance, typically used for trauma patients.

I was scrolling to see what it is and what kind of weird title it is. Do you think the term is regional or national? More like southern US?

u/Old-Advance6652 15m ago

What’s weird about the title?

I'm an European francophone and didn't know what life flight is. It's the first time I see it or it's the first time I'm confronted with it. So for me not knowing the meaning of the term the title made no sense.

Somehow I was thinking the flight of fleeing. Fleeing for your life.

Sorry but it’s not my fault. I don’t feel the title should be called weird because you didn’t know that term. It may just be an American term i don’t know

Oh no. I've learned a new expression. It's great thanks.

Of course! Sorry if I came across as rude.

Why didn’t Texans just stand their ground?

u/Old-Advance6652 13m ago

They should’ve told the flood to stop or else😡😡

Why does that song about yacht clubs come to mind?

Have seen stuff like this on the way to corpus. We were on a high way or free way overpass and I was thinking, damn they really have ramps here for water skis all over!

It was the tops of roofs of the houses
