And it's much better than I thought it would be. Really creative.. add-on? Not sure how you call this type of content.
It's fun, has pretty cool new mechanics and it's own vibe, and the mission when Cole is running through the crowd of vampires is impressive (for me at least).
Gotta clear this map and probably return here in the future, it's definitely one of the great "additions".
That's the creativity I love Sucker Punch for

I have a thought regarding Cole and the conduits before the RFI. So I was replaying Infamous 2 and one of the ice men called Cole a Prime Conduit, at first I thought it was just in reference to him actually having the Conduit gene, but then I thought about Cole’s powers. Even before Infamous 2 didn't Cole technically have more than electrokinesis? He was able to siphon people's life, and Kessler was able to travel back in time and create projections of himself during his boss battle, while also being able to give Cole visions.
Also I had an idea how conduits came back. The ones in New Marais died from being close to the R.F.I while those across the world might have been those activated from the premature activation from the Ray Sphere forcing the evolution. How some survived like Augustine might have been because they were away from the R.F.I and rather than activated by technology like the Ray Sphere they were activated by the closest thing to a natural occurrence i.e The Beast. As for how Delsin and others lived, maybe the gene was really weak or had yet to mutate. Kessler (Cole) did not get his powers from the Ray Sphere so it came naturally, so perhaps the R.F.I just did not kill them because their genetic DNA was not fully conduit yet. There are some holes like how Zeck said people that did not even know they were Conduits died but I think perhaps that could be explained by them not having the chance to find out what their power was given Infamous 1 and 2 all happen in the same year.

Multiple trophy discussions I’ve seen mention using the UGC missions to grind out the last bit of required XP, presumably for unlocking abilities.
Is this required, or can you grind enough in the offline game to get the trophies for fully upgrading your abilities etc?
I already have the online trophies, but don’t have time to finish the platinum right now. Just want to make sure I can still do that when the servers go offline.

So I just finished playing through infamous 1 (as well as getting all achievements) and started playing infamous 2, and I was really caught off guard by different Cole is in the second game, he’s a lot more light hearted I guess you could say? He’s not as serious as he was in infamous 1 and thanks to his new va it really draws attention to how different he is.
That being said I do prefer how he’s written in infamous 2 mostly because it feels like he and zeke are actually friends in the first game it honestly sounded like Cole just put up with zeke for the most part

Why am i getting this everytime i press "Connect to UGC server" on ps3?
Edit: Figured it out, connected the ps3 to hotspot on my phone and set the connection to 2.4ghz and worked straight away. Router must have been defaulting to 5ghz band or something.

Minor issue I have with second son not talking about the plot or anything, why is there no menu to listen to the audio logs?? I don’t want to blow I out of proportion because it kinda really pisses me off but it should’ve not been an issue. I didn’t remember any of the audio logs since it’s been years, so if I want to hear them again I either need to play the game again which I don’t want to, or find a YouTube video that does it for me. Such a small thing, but it bothers me so much

so i recently got a ps3 and now i'm waiting for the 3 available games on the console to download, and i'm thinking, which karmic path should i choose? good or evil decisions? eventually i will do both paths but which should i choose first for each game? also, what information should i know before playing each game? i started with second son and really liked both paths, maybe the evil one a bit more, but which is more enyojable as a first time playing?

Before the online goes off for InFamous 2 at the end of this, does anyone wanna help with the online trophies? I'd be pretty grateful.

What if Fortnite collaborated with inFAMOUS 2? (My Mythic Concept)
I've always wanted an inFAMOUS 2 x Fortnite crossover, and I think Cole MacGrath's Mythic should focus on the Karma System instead of being just another lightning weapon.
⚡ Karma System
You choose Good Karma or Evil Karma, and your abilities evolve based on how you play.
🔵 Good Karma
- Less damage but uses less energy.
- Healing and shields are more effective.
- Faster teammate revives.
- Healing teammates and reviving them earns Karma.
Ultimate: Ionic Freeze
- A huge ice blast freezes enemies in place.
- Frozen enemies can't move or attack for a short time, giving your squad time to revive, reposition, or push.
🔴 Evil Karma
- Higher damage but drains Mythic energy faster.
- Eliminations restore Mythic energy, inspired by Evil Cole draining bioelectric energy from enemies.
- Getting eliminations earns Evil Karma.
Ultimate: Ionic Drain
- Cole unleashes a massive red and purple electrical blast.
- It strips enemy shields and heavily damages everyone caught in the area.
- Cole absorbs that energy, restoring his own health, shields, and Mythic energy.
Cosmetics I'd Love
- Cole MacGrath (Hero and Evil styles)
- Zeke
- Nix
- Kuo
- The Beast as a boss
- Customizable Militia skin where you unlock armor pieces, helmets, and gear by completing quests around the island.
I think this would make an inFAMOUS 2 crossover feel unique because your choices during the match actually change how Cole's powers evolve, just like in the original game.
What would you add or change?
