Hi everyone, Iām trying to find a specific version of āNaturalā by Imagine Dragons, but I canāt seem to find it anywhere.
It sounds more rock-oriented than the original studio version. The guitar is much more prominent, and the singerās vocal delivery is rougher/more aggressive, with a stronger rock feel.
A few details I remember:
-It doesnāt have the instrumental intro from the original.\n- It starts immediately with āWill you hold the lineā.
The guitar comes in right on the word ālineā.
- During the chorus, on the second and third repetitions, it sounds like he says something different instead of āNaturalā ā I hear something like āshaker boneā or āshake your bonesā(obs: I don't speak English fluently).
- The arrangement overall feels heavier and more guitar-driven than the album version.
ām not sure if this is a live version, radio session, alternate mix, or a cover.
Does anyone know which version this might be, or where I could find it?Thanks!
Before anyone jumps to conclusions, I doubt this is him. Not only do the vocals sound distinctly not like Dan, they don't even sound similar to each other. Fight sounds like Brandon Flowers and Keep Fighting sounds like Mike Shinoda. What probably happened is that someone with the same name uploaded some slop he generated and Spotify accidentally uploaded it to the more famous Dan's profile. Something similar actually happened with Dan and Aja's old side project Egyptian where a couple songs from a Dub Reggae producer of the same name were snuck into the mix. I'm posting this to try and get these songs removed or at least moved to the correct person's profile, as I don't want misinformation to be spread.
Hey guys, cerium here, I found 90 images of rare ID media stored on the University of Nevada Las Vegas archive, I had to ask them for permission to access it, and they did! Big thanks to UNLV for giving me access to these, In this post, I will go through all folders shared.
[November 3, 2016] Mac playing snippets of demos the band was working on for the History of Rock class in the University of Nevada Las Vegas. (35 files)
This one is the most interesting one, if you don't know, Mac Reynolds is ID's manager and Dan's brother. Sadly there are no videos for this one, but we do have an order of what was played

As seen on these images, the students were asked to fill out a survey with their feedback on the songs. You can see that 1 means bad, I don't know what the rest means but probably 2 = okay, 3 = good. Eileen Komi edited the picture to see the song order better, and before I show you the order we concluded with, @ kirkduck on discord asked Mac about the songs and this is what he answered with:
So we have some names of demos like Your Mother, Sooner or Later, and In The Dark. With Mac's list, this is the order we concluded with:
Only
Believer
Rise Up
In The Dark
Boomrang
Bad Liar
Yesterday
Love
Walking the wire
IMIUTY
Primadonna
West Coast
Whatever It Takes
Waves
Bullet In A Gun
Zero
Natural
Thunder
Start Over
Cool Out
Birds
The reason why Your Mother and Sooner or Later weren't included is because they weren't in the papers is that it was probably only being played to the 2 students still in the classroom after the class ended

According to the photos metadata, the class's duration was 1 hour and 3 minutes.

ID working on self titled back in 2009 at Battle Born. We know that they were working on Take Take Take that day

By zooming into the computer, you can see the project file's name being "Take Take Take"
[March 7, 2010] Imagine Dragons unreleased cover art and portraits.

Some portraits photographed by Bill Hughes and some unreleased cover art, we know it's unreleased cover art from the folder name "Imagine Dragons digital cover art and portraits", and this cover art wasn't used. Could have been cover art for H&S.
Im watching YouTube and a clip from Imagine Dragon's concert shows Dan Reynolds out front in a skinny suit, and all I can see is a book boyfriend and a New Adult Romance plot about the famous band's sexy front man who falls for a girl in the crowd at a show, circa 2014.
Natural was released on July 17, 2018. It's the lead single from Origins.
OnĀ kworb.net, it is currently ID's 8th most-streamed song on Spotify (1,590,324,159 streams) and 7th most-viewed video on YouTube (693,596,803 views).
