The Prussia of Africa
A stronger Morocco that modernized like Japan which joined the Spanish-American War and took Spanish North Africa, Western Sahara, and the Canary Islands. Joined the Central Powers in WW1 (so did Italy), winning Mauritania then in the peace deal and occupying western Algeria when a socialist revolution engulfed France.

Top comment adds a civilization and its capital; day 4
The empire of sadness is created, predictably, in Ohio. Meanwhile, the Aztecs reach east to the coastline and the Atlanteans work to control the Aegean totally, building the city of Knossos.
Same options as before: add a civilization and capital, dictate how one expands, or a combination of the two.

The Black Horde (1398-1466)
Lore: The Black Horde was founded in 1398 by Öksökö Khan, who took advantage of the chaotic fragmentation of the Golden Horde. Established in the vast steppes north of the Caspian Sea by Turkic and other nomadic communities, this state conquered almost the entirety of Northeast Europe, launched devastating raids to the borders of Western Europe, and advanced as far into the German interior. During this golden age, they subjugated the Vargor and Boran principalities as vassals, forcefully relocated the Slavic populations within their territories to these client states, and successfully secured their northern borders. Having stood resilient as a major power for 68 years, the state fell into rapid decline after Öksökö Khan was killed during his final campaign into Germany in 1462. Following his death, three years of intense dynastic struggles, civil wars, and massive territorial losses completely shattered the central authority. Severely weakened and reduced back to its original cradle north of the Caspian Sea, the Black Horde was annexed in 1466 by the newly rising Kazakh Khanate and vanished from history.
