discussion Major was right and Liv was wrong - s4
it’s weird, because I feel like Major says many things that may be uncomfortable, but are true. multiple times, how Liv can find meaning in her life in no other way. and the show seems to paint morally grey situations well, turning ppl to zombies to save them vs too many zombies equaling food shortage, every new zombie a legitimate problem. renegade saved ppl yeah but it was also selfish reasoning “I do it because it feels good”. the predicament they’re in makes that not a good enough reason. my point is, I feel like the situations we see and the realities Major presents seem to be well-written and aware enough that they are, well, aware … but despite all this, I feel like the show still wants us to ignore all that and be “Fillmore Graves equals bad people, Renegade and Liv equals good people.” like even literally within the same conversation within less than a minute, when Major finds out Liv is Renegade. it’s such an awareness that calls Liv out about not being able to find meaning in her life in any way, then ends with Liv and Ravi and Isobel yelling about them being the good people. not sure why the writers even wrote the other morally grey, uncomfortable truth side in the first place, if we’re supposed to either ignore it all or decide it’s all less important than Liv being Renegade. what do you think?
also not sure exactly where to fit this in there, but Liv really just treats Major like crap and I think we are STILL supposed to root for only her. the tracker she put in his pocket, then he saves her from the guillotine and she is like “nope, I actually saved myself”. no, Liv. you didn‘t. maybe you took the last action(s) in getting free/away from the guillotine, but you wouldn’t even have had the opportunity to do anything at all if the riot hadn’t broken out, if Major had not done anything. .. and yet I STILL get the feeling we are supposed to keep rooting for Liv. I really don’t understand it.

Apocalyptic Series.
I have been looking for the title for an apocalyptic Series i watched maybe like in 2017. This series followed a family of 5. Mother, Father, Son and teen twin girls who were in high school but had different personalities and mostly never got along. Another thing i remember was that there was this cough that was going round that had no cure and would turn people who were infected by it into maybe zombies then later into ghost like figures. If anyone has ever come across it, please comment the title 🥹🥹

spoiler Smuggling the zombie virus out of Seattle. Spoiler
I am watching the series for the first time (up to season 5). My question is why someone didnt start smuggling out small amounts of zombie blood out of Seattle to the terminally ill rather than trying to smuggle them in. It would be a hell of a lot easier.
Sure most people wouldn't be able to access brains but the rich or even upper middle class people with terminal illness or seeking imortality could bribe the odd funeral director or grave digger. I am surprised no one in organised crime like Blaine didn't figure it out. Plus get the ultra rich invested in imortality and the laws would change pretty quickly. Although thinking about it, it would probably just end up in a zombie ruling class dystopia.

spoiler What did I just witness??
I just finished the show for the first time. What the fuck was that ending. Let me get this straight: they skip forward 10 years and the show ends inside of the metaverse?? And Liv survived even though it was said like 2 minutes earlier that she would have become rabid? And I guess Liv is just somehow getting brains despite living in secret. This is one of two finales I’ve hated, the other being Castle. And I’ve watched Dexter. Truly disappointed.

discussion Izombie is fading/dying
I understand that it is a little unrealistic to expect that a certain show from 2015 would still be gaining popularity or even maintaining it but Netflix removing it seems to have legitimately killed it. It makes me irrationally sad that such a great show will more than likely be lost media in the next 5 years. Do you all think there is any chance it ends up back on any large streaming services?

discussion How the hell are we supposed to watch this show?
You can buy seasons 1-3 on YouTube TV, and the first two seasons on prime in the US. To get all seasons you need a vpn set to Australia to watch on HBO, but I don't have money to pay for that many subscriptions. So I need a free vpn but the only free vpns that let you set your shit to Australia are sketchy and a security issue. You can also check online to see if anyone is selling any physical media of iZombie but you'd have to get so lucky, I checked and no one within 250 miles of me is selling any kind of physical media for this show. And then you could pirate it, which usually isn't an issue until it is cause you could get super expensive fines that I also can't fucking afford and/or you can get a prison sentence of 1-5 years. How the actual fuck am I supposed to watch the entire show?

media where to watch seasons 3-5?
So I'm an american who's wanting to go back and rewatch this show. I watched the first few seasons when it came out, however I don't really remember much of anything from it. I just remember the premise and that in later seasons the existence of zombies was revealed to the public.
Anyways, I go online to see where I can watch it and see that it's available on amazon to buy. I click the seasons to see how much each one was and see no cart sign by seasons 3-5.
My first thought is, cool the later seasons are free. I don't have to buy them. I check the prices for seasons 1 & 2. Then went to season three to debate on if I just want to skip seasons 1-2.
That was when I saw it, "This title is unavailable due to expired rights"
So, now I'm hit with a new dilemma. If I can't watch the entire series, do I even want to watch it at all. The show ended 7 years ago, but I see there's still a few redditors lurking around this sub.
So, other then the obvious, buy a physical dvd set for them. I'm wondering if anyone knows a way to watch these seasons online or if my only option is physical copies.

discussion What was the best romance?
These are the ones that came to mind. Wanted to add Liv & Drake , DonE & Darcy but it only allows limited options. Comment if you have other suggestions…
