Hi, I'm editing the states of the "Antarctica Redux" mod for personal use. The issue is that since I'm modifying states i need to use the Nudge tool to adjust the buildings. However, the mod I took the files from already has a 'buildings.txt' file, so I would have to overwrite it to apply my changes. How can I keep both the base mod's changes and the ones I make using Nudge?

I 'learnt' to mod two days ago so I pretty much don't know what the fuck I'm doing. Any help is appreciated

Not that experienced in coding for Hoi4, looking for people willing to fill that role (credits will of course be given). I personally will be the lead writer (as the mod is my idea and the lore is made by me). A general overview of the lore is below.

The year is 2050, the USA, with help from the European Union, defeated Russia in World War III (2033 - 2040), which was caused by Russia's attack on Georgia (which was mostly caused by revanchism following Russia's defeat in Ukraine). While WWIII was ongoing, China and North Korea fought against Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan in the Great East Asian War (2037 - 2039). The GEAW ended in a stalemate, with China annexing Taiwan and Korea being united by South Korea. Putin is assassinated in 2041 and is replaced by Medvedev. Stability has mostly returned to the congo under the US-aligned Republic of Congo. Canada is dealing with tons of unrest in Quebec which threatens full-scale revolution. The Middle East is largely quiet apart from a civil war in Egypt, with the Israel-Palestine conflict being put to rest following Palestine's defeat of Israel in 2027. Russia remains under Medvedev, but Medvedev's health is failing, and internal threats from the CPRF and LDPR threaten to tear Russia apart. Not to mention there is an ever-growing rift between the USA and Europe despite their continued alliance under NATO.

For example, Germany cant release their kingdoms like Bavaria and Canada cant release Quebec
Usually they need to complete a focus to release them but when I make a decision with the exact same effect as the focus it doesnt work
How would I make a mod that allows for example Germany to release all of their releasables?

This is a in-progress project that attempts to upgrade all of the flag graphics to be at quadruple resolution (320x208 instead of 80x52), and in some cases replace them with more historically accurate or sensible flags.
