Hello everyone!
Sorry for taking so long to get around to this.
Please let us know what you think of the monthly threads system. Is it working for you? Do you think there’s a way it could work better? Should we keep all three monthly threads or is there one or two you think work better than other ones that we should keep?
If you like the threads but think they don’t get enough activity, what do you think is the best way to promote them more on the subreddit?
If you don’t like the monthly threads system, how would you like the frequently asked questions/new user questions to be handled instead?
Would love to hear your thoughts! Again, my apologies for the delay on this feedback post, it should have been a few months ago but it’s been a weird spring…

I have always wanted to be able to see everything in person before the Sept launch, and have been envious these last few years of people in NYC and LA, but it's finally getting local for us in New England! 😭

Never thought I could be this emotionally invested into a planner 🥹. Usually planners or bullet journals don’t workout for me so I’m super happy that I made it this far in my Hobonichi Weeks! It has enough structure yet flexible enough for me to personalize it to my liking.
The photos here are some of my favorite monthly / weekly spreads! I also really enjoy having the exercise tracker in the front. Really feels like I’ve been getting stronger at the gym 💪
I’m planning to use the Weeks again for 2027 😌

I should've just waited til I bought some stamps 😅
And, yes, I am using a cutting board under my planner because my patio table is rusty and gross and I don't want it ruining the covers lol

So, probably like most of us, when I started my journal journey I absolutely lost the run of myself buying stickers. Then of course anyone who knew me bought me more including books of them. Honestly, enough to last a lifetime. Initially I used them but got out of the habit and today thought 'what a waste'. In order to use them up I've come up with using them as a random prompt in my a6 hobonichi commonplace. Hopefully the pics will be self explanatory but as an example, one daughter lives in Amsterdam so I'll dedicate a page opposite those stickers to write about her. The other daughter loves to travel so I'll write about that. The one with the child on the beach , I'll write about a childhood memory and so on and so forth. Each sticker page will prompt me to write about something specific. Thought some of you might like the idea and it's a fun way to use up stickers / ephemera.

Back in January I bought a ticket for each day, because I wasn't sure when I could go with my work schedule, and now I can't go at all. It says the tickets are non-transferrable, but it's just an emailed QR code with my name under it. Do they check IDs? I'm not sure, but I would be surprised. If anyone local to the event wants to try using my tickets, let me know and I can forward the email to you. It might not work! But it might. I know I'm out what I spent, but maybe at least they won't go to waste.
All claimed!

I'm really interested in the laccio bands but they are a little bit difficult to find in the U.S. I've been eyeing some supplies to make my own but I don't know how to actually tie the elastic to make it hide in the rivet. thank you!

I fell into the craze and decided the make replace my hobos home (a pouch) into this little DIY journal cover. Not done adding more pockets to the inside but love it

It's now officially been a month in my first Hobonichi Weeks and Cousin and all I can say is, I am so glad I gave these planners a try. The Cousin aspecially has been such a wonderful companion over the last four weeks, I don't think I can go about my day without it anymore. I use is primarily as a daily journal and to write down my feelings and thoughts. This was truely love at first sight.
The Weeks and I took a bit more time to warm up to each other but thankfully we found a rythm. I now use it as a hobby and random obsessions tracker and to paste in any random freebies I get in the mail.
When setting these two up I decided to stick to a theme for the entire year for all the stickers and illustrations I wanted to use as decoration. I landed on Lakes and Ponds for my 2025 theme so I tried to decorate accordingly.
I'm so glad I found this planner and this community, the creativity here is truely off the charts!
Have a lovely day everyone :3

I had a weeks for 2025 but really wanted more space for writing, especially in the calendar area so I went for an A5 day-free for 2026. I’ve been really loving it so far and am excited to fill out the second half of the year! Because I don’t really write a lot each day the space is perfect for me.

I bought myself my first ever Cousin and Weeks last month to try out. I’m really loving Hobonichi! I’ve decided the horizontal layout with the grid page on the other side of the Weeks works best. It’s just great to be able to write out lists and a habit tracker for the week. But I love the size and the daily pages of the Cousin and that’s the planner I prefer to have next year. I’m just not liking the vertical format of the weeks. How do you use your weeks layout in the Cousin and make it work for you?

Got my wisdom teeth removed and stopped using my Hobonichi weeks for a month (?) after that. Had a fun week and wanted to record it, only to realize AFTER I had wrote down the entries for the first 3 days in a June weekly spread instead of July!!
Not a big deal because I never pay attention to the dates anyways so I just covered them up with stickers + washi tape and added the current dates to the side. It’s still such a silly mistake though haha

I know. It's July. I'm already wondering what designs and collabs we might get for 2027. Isn't it August when they start reveals?
