This arc is about Ivan (Russia) publicly announcing a list of countries who 'need to put more effort into becoming his friends' and sends them a cardboard cutout of himself.
Realia: (if you are uncomfortable with real world politics skip this part)
This, I believe, is based on irl Russia in 2021 announcing list of unfriendly countries and territories. The list, however, consisted of only 2 countries: USA and Czech Republic. Early drafts consisted of up to 10 countries.
Now to the pictures:
1) Starting strong with Ivan. Just look at him. It should be illegal to look this pretty while announcing your enemies. Like, bro 🤤
2) Estonia. He's so adorable in this arc. And look at the headset he's wearing, he's such a nerd and clearly locked in on making fun of whatever bs Ivan's saying. I betcha that once he's done dying of laughter, he'll start making memes of the video and post it on his blog or smg. He's such a dork.
3) Estonia laughing so hard that he made Latvia and Lithuania also laugh and eased their worries is just wholesome.
And yes, Estonia is being pretty much the embodiment of the wheeze meme for like 5 pages straight.
4) Ivan is scared of loud noises?! And look at how cute he also is when scared. Damn, this guy I sweeaarrr
5) Ukraine, my sweet summer child. She's so nice, like 😭 She's just sitting there like 'my whole family went nuts and I can't see them anymore but I still love them and miss them sm. Poor girl.
6) I actually have no words for this one. Feliks wtf 😶
7) As for the United States of America, he reminded me of that one woman who married the cardboard cutout. Literally, 'I aM tAkInG mY CaRdBoArD WifE tO MiAmI fOr HoNeYmOOn' aah panel. 'aNd wE'rE HaViNg sO mUch FuN'. Even Ivan was so embrassed he had to ask Alfred to throw it out 😭😭😭
8) Omg, Canada is such angel. Like Ivan just put him him on list of his of enemies, announced it worldwide and sent him weird cutout and he's like: 'Ummm... Thank you. I've sent you some cookies back' 🥹🥹🥹 Also Mattie, please don't feel bad. You have done absolutely nothing wrong, you never have and I don't think you could ever do something wrong. He's so nice and this was definitely a wholesome way to end this arc.
And that's all. I'm bit disappointed that Czechia didn't make appearance in this arc. She could have gotten one small panel like England did.
