This is a short piece for guitar I wrote called La Zubia, which is the suburb in Granada i was staying in. Got inspired to write a few pieces for solo guitar upon my return to Australia. I play electric pretty much exclusively - i write mostly blues/rock/jazz inspired pieces so these pieces were a little outside my norm. Hope you like it.

That he was unpopular among aficionados owes largely to the fact that Montoya learned in a non-traditional way and that he abandoned the compás which has evolved within flamenco over hundreds of years. Many of his works do not even keep perfect tempo, increasing and decreasing in speed almost whimsically. He was admired for the speed of his picados and undoubtably found popularity on the international stage as a result of this obviously impressive pace, but to an aficionado speed is nothing without compás, the trick being to play rapid, beautiful falsettas without straying outside the framework of the rhythm.”

I have always loved music that has influnces of Spanish guitar. Yesterday I made briefly this little piece, just for fun. I hope you like it!

Is this post hardcore or what genre does this feel to you? Still new to guitar and writing, less than a year into my self taught music journey. Any feedback or tips are highly appreciated!

I was looking for some feedback on my playing please. I played classical, fingerstyle and bluegrass before this, this is my first year on electric, 2nd year in sobriety but not my first.time playing.

I want.to work.on being less pentatonic and adding more 6ths and flavor to my melodies. The only feedback my.worship bamd gives me.is they like my playing and having.me there and I just improvise.everything and dont even like worship music. I want.to play Rory Gallagher and Gary Davis songs but I will support my friends if they want me.
