He is very dependent, he just wants to eat baby food, I don't know if he knows how to drink water and I keep thinking when he is alone if he gets sad

Does anyone have this cage?
I’m looking at getting this Mcage double stack cage for my birds and wanted to see if anyone here has actually owned this exact cage or knows anything about it.
Mcage X-Large Durable Wrought Iron Double Stackers Breeding Bird Parrot Cage with 1/2” bar spacing. It’s listed on Walmart and is about $380.
The only thing making me hesitate is that the exact listing has very few reviews. It has a 4.8-star rating, but only 5 ratings and just one written review. The seller, ROWLAND DIRECT WHOLESALE, has over 600 reviews with a 4.1-star rating, and I’ve seen decent reviews on some of their other Mcage cages. I have seen 0 reviews or videos about this cage online and I don’t see it being sold anywhere but Walmart and UBuy.
I’ve looked at a lot of double-stack cages, but this one seems like a pretty good size for the price. I just want to make sure I’m not overlooking something before spending around $380 on it.
Thanks!

Cage setup for my Green Cheek Conure & future Indian Ringneck
Hi everyone! After a lot of researching and getting advice, I think I've finally finished my shopping list for my current GCC (Sunny) and my future female IRN.
Current Setup:
- Budgie (will be moving into my GCC's current cage)
- Green Cheek Conure (Sunny)
- Future female Indian Ringneck
- GCC and IRN will each have their own compartment in the XL double stack cage
Shopping List:
- XL MCage Double Stack Cage
- 2x 10" x 10" Seagrass Mats
- 1x 8pc Natural Perch Set
- 2x 24" Rope Perches
- 1x Wooden Foraging Puzzle
- 1x Birdie Wooden Puzzle Feeder
- 1x Bagel Cascade & Ring Toy
- 1x Shredding Kebab
- 2x Natural Foraging Ball Variety Boxes
- 2x Ladder Swings
- 1x Manual Food Chopper
- Roudybush Daily Maintenance Crumble (Budgie)
- Roudybush Daily Maintenance Mini (GCC & IRN)
- Natural Cuttlebones
- Bird Tape
I'm planning on rotating the toys weekly and adding more puzzle/foraging toys over time. The birds will also be getting fresh chop along with their Roudybush pellets.
I'm mainly looking for advice before I place the order. Is there anything you'd change, remove, or add? Thanks!

Talk me out of getting a GCC
I am looking to get a new bird and am seriously thinking about a GCC. I had a female cockatiel in the past and loved her dearly but she just wasnt enough "bird" for me. I think I would feel differently about a male which is my next choice due to their talking/whistling ability and being more outgoing. I would get a hand-raised male baby because I couldn't bear to lose a bird to egg binding. I'd love your thoughts. The good and the bad. Those of you who got yours as babies, are they cuddly? Are they fun? If you had to talk me out of it, how would you do it? If you have them, post your videoes of them at their loudest. Thanks in advance 😉

Question about candles
hello everyone! I am getting two GCC on friday and I know I’m supposed to keep perfumes, candles , anything with chemicals, etc. out of the house/ far away from them. I do however have two candles hung on my wall as decoration. Am i fine to leave them there if I never light them? (pic of them on the wall). Thank you!

Cuddly cheeks Help! My Greencheeks have merged!
That's Kiwi on the left (with the belly floofs) and Mochi on the right. It seems they've joined as one. I realize there's no known cure but wanted to share the cuteness.

Advice on leaving them for a few months?
I never planned on leaving to go to University, and I’ve never had any interest in going when i bought my gcc or in all of my life, but as of the last year it became clear it was the right choice for me so I applied and am starting in a few months. I’ve owned my gcc for fivr years and I’m so anxious about leaving him without me, he’s not being rehomed or anything and he’s close with my other family members who will take care of him in my absence (particularly my mom) but because I’m his primary caregiver - the one who gets him out 95% of the time, feeds him etc- I’m worried that the stress of my sudden dissapearance will cause him to pluck or psychological damage. I’m also worried, although it sounds silly, that in the 3-4 months I’m away at a time he’ll forget me. I love him sososo much and I would’ve brought him with me if there was a way I could but I can’t. If anyones been in the same situation or has any advice I’d be really happy to hear it because I’m so upset and the idea of leaving him and him not see me for months.
I know this post is a ramble, I’m just looking for any kind of footing on this whole situation, because I can’t fully look forward to university because of the dread i feel in not being with him.
