Grace face
galleryOur 18 year old graybie is a love bug. For being older she still runs the house around the other two cats. Very spry and playful for being older.

Mia loves the warmth that the dishwasher puts out.
galleryEvery night Mia just lays here for hours while the dishwasher runs because it makes the counter above a little warm and she loves being toasty. Once she’s warm and cozy, she’s not getting up for anything.

Ash Went for His 1st Bicycle Ride Today
The cat-pack arrived today. He liked it immediately as you can see. I tested walking around the house with this on my chest and him in it with the top flap wide open. He just looked around and didn't even think about jumping out. The old girl was also interested but she hates the outside. He took longer to accept the presence of the bicycle, but we revisited it a few times while wandering the back yard.
Eventually I had him chilling in the cat-pack (top flap open) next to the bicycle. I removed the leash, zipped him in there, and off we went. We did a lap around the back yard before hitting the street. This is an 80-year-old suburban subdivision. The streets are not on a grid nor straight from one end to the other. The old trees shade the roadway. Nothing but local residential traffic. If he can't handle that, I'm not taking him anywhere else.
I could feel him shifting his weight a bit when we hit the street but that calmed down to nothing about two houses down. Then I only felt him shift his weight around turns. I couldn't see him. All I had to go off was what I felt from the pack.
When we got back home a few minutes later, I was afraid that getting off the bicycle and removing the back pack might jostle him. I took off the pack and set it down. Then unzipped the top opening and clipped the leash to his harness. He continued to chill in the pack while the retractable leash handle laid on the ground next to the pack. Opened the garage, put the bicycle away, closed the garage, and he's still laying in the pack.
I give a slight tug on the leash. "Hey buddy, want to roam the yard some more?" Nope. So I pick up the pack by that loop at the top that every backpack has and walk it and him inside, top flap open and he's just laying there. Once inside, I had to remove his harness while he was in there. The neck velcro was a lot easier than the torso velcro since he was still laying in the pack. He eventually jumped out to go poop a few minutes later.
Sorry I didn't get more pics (left the phone inside). I'll try to get a video to post next time we go out on the bicycle. Once he gets super comfortable with this, I want to introduce him to the Harley. We'll see how that goes a year or two from now.
