I finished this paper craft-style landscape in Procreate using an “Art with Flo” YouTube tutorial & felt like it was missing something. (So I added Garfield!)

What was Jon's comic he was drawing in this Garfield comic?

I know Jim Davis probably wasn't referencing anything in particular, but any guess what it could be? Does it resemble anything? Do we ever learn anything more about Jon's job as a "cartoonist"?

It looks like a guy with a red head waving. I know people like to joke about this being Gnorm Gnat but I don't know if there are any characters in GG that resemble this.

So this has the copyright info right on there, but I'm not sure if it's a sticker that was added to the cover at some point, or if it was manufactured this way? It's hard to the touch & affixed quite firmly to the book cover. Let me know if there's any other pics/info I should provide 😺 thanks for anyone who wants to share their thoughts!
