My child toured colleges this summer and decided on some colleges to target. However, when he checked their requirements, he realized that he didn’t have one of them. Would FriscoISD make an exception and let him change his schedule now, so that he will be able to have the credit to apply for his dream colleges?

Trying to decide between adding Radiant Barrier in the attic or adding more insulation. These last three days have convinced me to do something so just checking if anyone else has done one or the other. My AC units have been running continuously the last 3 days and can't keep up with this heat. I have 2, 5 ton units and the upstairs one can't go below 80 during peak heat.

They’re shady over there and completely incompetent. If you want to avoid several thousands of dollars in repairs never go there. Last time I took my car in for an oil change my engine started smoking and both my radiator and oil were completely drained. They also left trash (napkins and other stuff) inside the engine block. My windshield wiper fluid had totally evaporated too because it wasn’t sealed correctly. I had to completely replace the radiator and other parts (at another place) which cost me $2500. It was the Kwik Kar on Main but the other locations are just as bad. My friend had the same issue when she took her car in for an oil change at another location. About a month later she had an engine failure and is looking at $6000+ in repairs. Seriously FUCK these guys. They’re negligent and criminal and all their branches need to be shut down for the amount of people they screwed over

I’m thinking about working there as my first job. But I want some input about working at whataburger. Has anyone worked at this whataburger or at any in this area before? What’s it like?

the form was easy to fill out, not a whole lot of scheduling availability (only one time slot per day) but it’s a pretty convenient time slot so it works

they came 5 mins early, very professional and convenient

overall review: 8/10
good service, legit and convenient
maybe more availability

To the ignorant woman driving down Stonebrook that remembered at the last second she needed to turn LEFT from the right lane onto Plum Creek, you’re a big C word for risking my safety as if you couldn’t make a u-turn or turn onto Canyon Ranch right up the road.

Thankfully, one of us was paying attention because if I was a typical driver focused on my phone instead of the road, kinda like you, I could’ve taken out the rear drivers side of your car. Then the audacity to give me the finger as if I’m wrong for being a top tier member of the defensive driving community.

hello, I’m looking for any local resources that can help me find a foster for my 1 year old pit / lab/ heeler mix. I’ve had to abruptly leave my marriage with my 8 year old, and 2 dogs including the puppy. We are in an apartment and it’s been about a month, and I don’t believe this will be sustainable with the puppy through December when I can move into a house. He is currently in doggy daycare during the day but that is $$$$ , not to mention I only originally was to bring the 1 dog and this apartment does not allow 2 pets🥴 I’ve exhausted all options with family and friends so am looking for a reputable foster I can keep in touch with regularly and whom will let me meet up when it works out!! I’ve reached out to the love pit, and pooch savers in plano, but figured I’d get advice here. I’d prefer to go through a platform or organization but would be happy to work directly with you or someone you know who fosters if they are affiliated with an org. Thank you! Pup is about 45 pounds and medium small, lots of energy (heeler, lab, pit lol)

So I love to cook, it’s a huge stress relief. My problem, I don’t have anyone to cook for, my kids are off to college. I like to cook in big batches. What seats (rows) are best, what are tolerable, and what are bad at the Stonebriar AMC Imax?

EDIT: UPDATE - I went to see Odyssey today at AMC Stonebriar Imax and the theater was very good. Nowhere near as terrible as comments provided.

I sat Row G near middle and the location was great.

The seats and theater are not your most modern luxury cushy lounge recliners but they are very good. The seat sat upright and doesnt recline but I was comfortable enough for 3+ hour movie.

The theater was clean and all people were quiet with no phones. The screen was very large (not sure how to compare to 70mm Imax) and sound was very good (little loud on some scenes).

The theater is not the most modern with the latest cushy seats but it is very good and I enjoyed the experience. Thanks for all the comments.

Any recommendations for getting help to file for disability? I've looked at a couple of options, but I'm not sure about them.

Does anyone around here know how to fix ebikes? I need to fix my ebike because the brakes are completley out but I don't have money to pay for the ebike repair. If anyone has any knowledge/expertise with fixing ebikes, I would truly appreciate it if you could take a look at my ebike and fix the brakes ASAP as it is not safe to ride this around with the brakes barely working. Dont get me wrong i understand that kids my age ride emotos and dont care about the law. I have 2 scooters a kukirin g4 and a phantom a10. I need a way to get to school and back (cant take bus). Like ik my kukirin goes like 40 and i dont ride that but the phantom a10 is harmless. Guess i shouldve looked into the rules before getting one ig. Lwk if the speed limit was set to 20 or sum that would be good.
