can i get the new hero for free since you guys decided to release her on my birthday. This will make me want to uninstall this game "lesser" aswell as make me NOT want to throw my keyboard and mouse, followed by myself out of my window.

The only thing I ever asked for Warden, was a cape. And even then? That was a joke so I could use the Edna "No capes" meme a while back.

If a P100 Warden can't convince you then I don't know what will. As of right now, he's fine in terms of balance, the only problem I've ever had with him is his bash flying through people when it's full charge. Other than that, no complaints.

I've squashed Jurens, Virts, Aferras on release.

If you're going to complain about the hero, get a new one.

I started off thinking he was bad too, then again I've gone through the life cycle with him where he has struggled like when he'd be out of stam out of 2 zones and stam drain was an issue in the game. That was my only true complaint about his kit. He has great pressure.

Does he require more skill to play than other heroes? Absolutely because he doesn't have what other heroes have, that doesn't MEAN he should.

On that note. You guys enjoy the new hero if you got her. For the Wardens complaining for buffs, git gud, If I can go through the life cycle that I have with him, you can get through the one he's in now because it's far easier now than it was before.

for some reason devs do not know how revenge is supposed to work, so this character, if there are two of them, has an inescapable 0-death that feeds little to no revenge using the forward dodge command grab and the undodgeable top light. Good lord, is there no limit to the stupidity of the dev team? Why does the forward dodge bash HAVE to do direct damage? It's not unique, it's just bad design.

She's super cool but (ignoring her gamebreaking bugs) i think it's kinda stupid that she has a 500ms bash that, if you are near a wall, leads tp 30 confirmed damage while continuing her offense. That's like gryphon kick on release but on coke.

This character never went past beta testing and this time they've just sold it lmao.

And from what we've seen from weaker hero releases such as Sohei and Khatun, they've had more tame releases. Meaning less money overall.

How are new people even supposed to begin to learn how to do anything. I'm playing the warden and the next person's using a pole arm or is the pirate or some other b******* and it just comboes me into oblivion and I can't do anything they attack too fast and I can't block any of their attacks they put an unblockables there I can't dodge how are you supposed to do anything!! I play KCD 1 and 2 and chivalry but this this is some b*******

Also why cant I use the chat just says not allowed to. *Found the issue it was to do with Ubisoft account settings

Edit: thank you all so much for your tips, I'm feeling much more confident playing the warden now I understand initiative, I do still struggle to claiming initiative back and gain momentum after being pushed on the back foot and still don't know why you would need feints but I am now having fun

Just played a match against 3 Aras and 1 Juren, that fucker did more to my sanity than any of the other yeeyee ass haircut gangmembers.

Ara feels honestly somewhat good to fight against, she can dish out some major ass pain, but it's not unbearable like day 1 Virt or Juren's eyebrows lifetime

Let's look at it realistically. Shugoki got the Yasuke skin, which not only has weird clipping and animation issues (because they just strapped Yasukes Model to Shugoki who's way bigger), but also proves they absolutely could have given the big man a proper suit of heavy armor.

And because they chose to do this right before the season (and a mid tier crossover skin drop save for Eivor), the Oni Skin (which would fit Shugoki both in size and aesthetic as Shugoki literally wear demon masks and use kanabos) goes to Sohei (who admittedly does use the demon masks but doesn't fit in any other category for DBD Oni)

To put it in perspective, Shugoki got barely worked on reheated microwave food equivalent of a Hero Skin, Ubi deliberately proved they could give the big man actual armor but restricted it to a mediocre crossover skin, and the Hero Skin that would have absolutely fit him like a glove goes to a different character entirely.

I don't think any hero skin (other than the raider skin Bolthorn) could be botched as badly as the original samurai heavy got. I genuinely think someone in the Ubisoft headquarters must despise Shugoki cause otherwise that just seems plain silly. Like, how do you see the literally perfect combo of Hero Skin to Hero and decide to just....give it to the guy that halfway fits?

Just hit rep 2 with her and i think overall she is an amazing hero overall i like her really much and she isnt as op as i thought she were thats good in team fights for me specially she wasnt that op like juren on drop. Thank you devs for such an amazing hero good job

The vast majority of his kit is still what people hate. He can still annihilate people, especially near walls, but his side dodge attacks really need actual attention and not knee-jerk nerfs. His held side dodge attack is virtually the same as his tap side dodge attack, but the animation is weird. It makes it look really fast, and it's going to throw a lot of people off. My suggestion would be to get rid of the held dodge attack and make the tap dodge attack unblockable. Keep the same speed and light parry punish. That way, he's more in line with other characters since JC wants every character to be virtually the same but still have some uniqueness.

I like the new hero. I think she's cool, and she isn't broken. A fun, unique moveset and mechanic we've never seen before.

(I have to put this at the top because some people won't read the full post if the title even seems slightly negative. This is not a negative post)

But before she gets to her "stances", she is basically just a (mostly) better tiandi. Hear me out.

They both have:

Dodge forward blue orange mixup

low damage

Feintable pinning throw chain bash

dodge cancel on mixup

arakure also has:

better hitboxes and range

slightly higher damage

undodgeable double strike heavy

normal chain pin bash

infinite combo

and her 2 stance things.

tiandi also has:

extended dodge attack

undodgeable side dodge attacks

can dodge cancel on missed lights and heavies??

kick throws a bit further probably maybe?

A better way to say it would be that Tiandi is an empty version of Arakure. Is it just me?

I don't care if you're in a clan with the same Naruto/ Ahegao/ communist/ TMNT logo you have to play with the 1 vs 7 mentality and play tactically. Read up on some brilliant posts on how to play dominion properly because with a new hero on the battlefield who will most likely be OP you will have to actually be the only one in your team who secures points. If you're thinking the new hero will be balanced my blanket reply is my sweet summer child because they have always been OP so that the micro transies can feel they got their moneys worth and boost player numbers.

"He who knows when to fight and when not to fight will win" you will lose a lot of games because your teammates will run head first into bad engagements and you will remember this post later today when that teammate working with only two braincells to rub together runs into a zone with three awaiting Arakures with bad hair jobs and will continue to do so until your team is breaking and suddenly they remember there are other zones and will either go to them or ping spam you to go there.... We all know what they will do.

I only fight with randoms so I'm resigned to my fate but will have fun learning to fight against Arakure so I will be dusting off the hero I'm most in tune with, the flow god Zhanhu

My reflexes are not on point lately, mainly cuz of diseases. I've to say that the rage is real when I can't keep up with the fight... especially against spammer classes. Oh well.

i turned my ps5 on wanting to play for honor but there was an update. I waited like 15 minutes because thats how long they normally take and then checked the progress. Why do i see the ENTIRE game being downloaded again??? Surely im not the only person whose experiencing this😭😭
