Pretty basic, keeping Pan-Arab red-white-black tricolour as the basis. Green is also Pan-Arab colour, and also added to represent (not sure) Shia Muslims, while golden octagonal star on green represents Kurds, Assyrians and basically all other minorities, while as the "star of Ishtar" represents Ancient heritage of Mesopotamia. Removed "Allahu Akbar" written in the middle to make this flag secular.

History:

Achaemenid Empire (c. 550–330 BC): The motif appeared on seals and standards. For example, seals depict King Artaxerxes II accompanied by a lion, with the sun representing the ancient deity Mithra and the woman (Anahita) representing royal majesty and water.

I would love to see a national flag with pink as a dominant colour.

Which countries do you think could actually have a pink flag based on national/historical colour symbolism?

I was in South Carolina and saw this flag on a few houses but I’ve never seen it before. Any one have any idea what this flag means?
