Like I understand how Reddit works but every sub regardless of your gender, ethnicity, religion or whatever will always hate.

Hello everyone, i am an alteredmeme creator, post in r/antimeme r/speedoflobsters r/bonehurtingjuice and r/alteredmemes.

To create those types of memes i need first to find imagery that can be turned into them. So i ask you wise people of r/findareddit for help.

Where can i find memes that compare to "normal" or discriminate diferent groups of people, for example: fat people, LGBTQ people, africans, african americans, other races, mens, womens, righties, lefties, liberals, communists, animals(not group of people, but ok i guessed), muslims, and other ?

The larger subs tend to feature clips where people are hitting PRs, are proud of their achievements, and basically are there to show off and get congratulated by strangers on the internet. This is nice and all, and actually educational sometimes, but I don't find it very motivating as a middling-to-bad lifter.

I want to see people post clips that they're embarrassed by. I want to see people actually failing. I want to see people demonstrating what it's like to be unsure and deeply flawed. And I want to see people give good faith advice and motivation. Not a hate sub or misery club. Fundamentally, I want to see normies and casuals being open about not being very good, but trying to be better.

I have been a bit disrespectful to other people and being parasocial and harassing everyone when they don’t want to interact with me. I wish I had lessons so I can learn to be better and less weird.

a lot of this feminism talk on r/AskFeminists, r/Feminism, twox, or Reddit is one of:

• mainstream basic feminism101 "everybody should be a feminist" that has been said 1000x before since 2010
• some trivial "referring to women as girls" or "razors are expensive"
• catering "i’m a guy how can i be a feminist", or esp the reddit demographic ("how can we avoid misandry")
• or some duh "anyone else think FGM is bad?" engagement bait

I want some:

• new shit, new ideas, where it's heading
• feminist theory and lit/media discussions
• the discourse. can be unpopular and controversial, esp to the reddit demographic
• nuance

this is not to say it all has to be "big brain" talk. I like humor/memes too, would love the equivalent of what tumblr was in 2015 but now. also doesn't have to be reddit, where can I get this generally

Hi, this is an unusual request.

I had kidney stone surgery under general anesthesia last Friday (17th). In 2017 I was raped while I was unconscious, and not knowing what happened to my body during surgery has been hard for me. It has left me feeling a mix of emotions and fears.

I’m looking for any educational videos or resources medical students use that show how a kidney stone procedure is set up, how the patient is positioned, who is present, etcetera.

Not looking for anything graphic or unethical, just trying to understand what actually happens. Thank you.
