Is this from a show or movie?

Not sure if this is the right place but I got this shirt second hand and thought it looked cool but I'm not sure if it's from a movie or just a random design on a t-shirt. Anyone have any ideas?

Searching for my lost 1999 baby blanket

Thumbnail gallery
Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I am reaching out to this community in hopes of finding a replacement for my childhood baby blanket, or at least identifying the brand so I can keep searching for one. Even a photo of it would make me so happy.
I was born in 1999 and had this blanket from the day I was born. Throughout my life, I’ve went through some extremely dark periods of time, dealing with mental health, addiction, homelessness and trouble with the law. During these chaotic times, I lost all of my personal belongings time and time again. More than I can count; including this blanket.
I’ve been in recovery from IV drug use (cocaine/crack, meth & opioids), sober almost 4 years now, but losing my blankie has left a huge void. It’s the one thing I cannot recover from or move on from. It was my ultimate sense of comfort and safety growing up. I’ve gone through some really awful, scary and devastating stuff; but my blankie was always there to hold on to.
For years I have spent countless hours searching thrift stores, yard/garage sales, flea markets, antique shops, eBay, and Etsy, but haven't had any luck matching it yet. It’s like it never even existed. I still dream about it and would give anything to have it or a replacement back in my life. If I could have one thing back from all the stuff I’ve lost, it would be this.
I know this all might sound silly to some, but I’m being super vulnerable right now - so please, be kind.💙

Blanket Details & Features:

Era/Year: Manufactured around 1995–2001 (ish).
Base Material/Color: Off-white / cream soft fleece.
Main Center Image: A lion with a teal-blue body and a lighter blue head.
3D Interactive Elements:
• The lion's mane is a loose, flappy white ruffle sewn around the head (3D effect, not flat printed).
• The tail is also a 3D separate piece of fabric attached at the end, made from the same material as the inner border.
Inner Border: Late 90s style pastel blue and pink mottled / cloud / watercolor pattern.
Outer Trim: A solid teal-blue fabric ruffle running along the entire outer edge of the blanket.

(I’ve attached the few photos I have of it, with notes highlighting the mane, tail, body, and border elements for visual reference).

How You Can Help:

If you recognize this blanket, remember having one like it, know the brand/manufacturer (e.g., Carter's, Lambs & Ivy, Eden, NoJo), or happen to have one in an attic or closet that you’d be willing to sell, please let me know; finding this would mean more to me than words can even express.

Thank you so much if you’ve taken the time to read this far! less

My mom passed away last year and I never located my childhood stuffed animal in her belongings. I would love some help in identifying it in case it helps me find a new one. The toy was named Catty but it could have also been a mouse or bear. Half of the thread on the mouth was falling off and glued back on at some point so it looks like a smirk lol

Help me find the ship in this picture

Post image
13 Upvotes

A few months ago, some friends and I were walking through an antique's mall. I found this picture on the wall and have been curious to see if I could identify the ship (or at least class of ship). I kinda forgot that this subreddit exists until now.

I have done some research online, but I am no expert. The closest US class of battleship that I have found is the South Carolina, but there are some significant differences between this picture and pictures that I have seen from that class of ship. Another strong contender might be the Colorado class, but I am not sure that one is correct either. I have also looked into the cruisers that the US had around the inter-war period (reasoning for the time period below), but I couldn't find any cruiser class that matched any closer than the South Carolina or Colorado classes.

Here are some of the things that I noticed about the ship:

  • The main armament has 8 main battery guns in 4 2-barrel turrets
  • The guns are super-firing (the middle turrets are mounted above the outer turrets)
  • There does not seem to be any anti-aircraft guns. IIRC, these were added just prior to WWII (very likely making this ship an inter-war vessel).
  • There seems to be an American flag on the rear conning tower. I don't know enough about the other flags to get any more information than that, but it would be cool to figure out what they mean).
  • It looks like there are 5 smaller batteries on the starboard side of the ship (3 forward and 2 aft). I can't tell if there are any more than that, but it does not look like it to me. Obviously we can't see the port side, but I would imagine it would have the same armament as the starboard side.
  • I only see 1 clearly defined smoke stack.
  • When looking at the pictures of the SC class, the conning towers are very different than the ones in the picture. The ones in the picture look much closer to "modern" (i.e. Iowa) battleships than something like what's shown on the SC class.
  • There is a wave pattern in the shape of the deck towards the bow (similar to that of the USS Texas).
  • I don't see an identifying number on the ship.
  • It seems like there is an armor belt on the ship. It reminds me of the one on the Texas.
  • The last thing that I noticed about the ship is that it does not have a camouflage pattern like the ones found around WWI. Instead, the color is solid, light, and contrasts the ocean very well.

Other than the picture itself, I have no other context that I can provide. There wasn't even anyone working that particular booth of the antique's mall when we were walking through.

Revolution 25th Anniversary Documentary - Where to watch?

Apologies if this is the completely wrong place to post this. There used to be a 6-part documentary about (and made by) the English videogame developer behind the games Beneath a Steel Sky and Broken Sword.

I purchased it on Steam years ago, when you could buy videos on the platform, and regretfully never watched it. I can still see it in my library, but I have no way to access it, let alone watch it.

I feel I’ve searched every corner of the internet for a stream or download of the documentary episodes (Internet Archive, “100% legal means”, etc.) but there seems to be no trace of it available whatsoever.

It’s my own fault for neglecting to watch it at the time, but I’m really keen to watch it. Does anyone have any idea where I can find the full documentary?

What is the name of this video?

There’s a video I seen a couple years ago about a guy and a girl that happened to cross baths in a street and I think they bumped into each other leading to the guy speaking to her. From there, it led to them going on dates and eventually progressing to having a relationship then a life together. Then the video rewinds back to the two first crossing paths again, but this time they just walk by each other completely overlooking the life they could’ve had if they interacted with each other. What video is this?

Help me find this commercial I saw a few days ago

Post image

I am super adamant on finding this ad because it really reminds me of both DorFic and Frutiger aero themes. All I remember from the commercial was a scene where people were harvesting apples or some type of fruit from trees behind a fruitier aero type grassy hill background. It also had a scene with a bunch of orange in it and I think mentioned orange creamsicle’s?? I think I saw it around Sunday during the final match of the World Cup. Also I DISTINCTLY remember that the commercial made a reference to Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom (see pic)
Please help me find it!
EDIT: just fyi, I live in Southern California and the commercial I saw was shown on Telemundo

I found these two plush friends at a local thrift store. They are quite large, about 4 ft long maybe? They have complete plushy bodies under the dresses that match the rest of their fur. They are also weighted and obviously meant for decor. I’m wondering if they are custom made or if someone knows something about them. And yes, they did come home with me.

(Solved! - Trey Ratcliff’s Machine Elf 12 - Cellular Dystopia 4K)

Hey All

This weekend I was getting high with a friend and I tried to show him a YouTube video I found years ago. Go figure I had deleted the playlist I had it saved in and couldn’t find it. Now it’s driving me nuts cuz I want to find it.

If any of you happen to know the video I’m talking about, I’ll love you forever if you reunite me with it😂

Here’s what I remember:

1) “Brain in a Fish Tank” by Shpongle is playing in the background for the entirety of the video with no other songs present

2) I found this video back in 2020 and it was already a couple months to years old.

3) Among many other shifting 3D scapes, it contained very close structures to the pictures attached to this post which I found from a different video.

Much appreciation for any help you might be! Thanks for your time!

Help me find a compilation video

Post image
1 Upvotes

This is kinda my last hope since the only other sub reddit said no memes which Im not even sure if this counts as one but man Idk.

All I remember is that is was a short compilation of clips of people probably all girls squealing and being flustered with sped up girlie Indie music (Im so bad at this) playing in the background because its supposed to be used for crushes or to show excitement? Im not even sure if the song was in English. I last saw it 4 years ago back in 22 around October-November and my friend that originally posted it on Whatsapp said she couldnt find it but downloaded it from Twitter. Ive been looking for it since.

The only major thing I remember is that it used this clip of Yui Yamada from Kase san and Morning Glories. I hope somebody can help, thank you.

Funny Video of Man Spraying a Bug

A video from prior or up to 2011 where a black guy with long hair sprays a bug with bug spray and forgets that he had trapped a bug underneath the spray can prior to that and proceeds to scream because it may have gotten on him?

Not sure if it was viral or not. Probably homemade and a niche find.

Help me find this TV show

I'm trying to remember the name of an old TV series (from around 2010 or earlier). It was set in a beach town and the main character was a blonde teenage girl who believed she was adopted. She would occasionally break the fourth wall and talk directly to the camera. I remember her parents having kind of a hippie vibe, and she had an older sister.

Looking for an obscure late-2000s goth subculture documentary/clip with street interviews

I'm trying to identify an old American documentary/video I watched online sometime around the late 2000s or early 2010s. It was about goth culture and featured interviews with goth people as well as random members of the public. I remember one scene where a random man being interviewed said something like "goth girls can be dangerous." Another scene I vaguely remember involved an Asian goth woman lying in a bathtub and painting her pubic hair with a large brush. The video included nudity and some sexual content, but it wasn't presented as pornography—it felt more like a documentary about alternative or fetish subcultures. I watched it on a website (not YouTube, as far as I remember). Does anyone know what this documentary or video might be?

Looking for a specific male outdoor YouTuber/influencer

Hi everyone, I’m trying to find a specific independent outdoor/adventure creator whose videos I watched about 3–4 years ago (around 2021–2023). These are my exact memories of his channel, though some details might be slightly blurred.

The Creator:

  • Appearance: White North American man (USA/Canada, possibly Pacific Northwest, Canada, or San Francisco Bay Area), around 30 years old. He has a very masculine, noticeably muscular/well-built physique (but he is not a professional athlete or fitness influencer).
  • Face: As far as I remember, he has dark brown or black hair with dense facial hair, likely a heavy 3-to-4-day stubble/beard with a prominent mustache area.
  • Clothing: He is often wearing minimalist, beige/sand-colored functional expedition and outdoor gear. He has a completely unique, calm, and independent filmmaking style (no loud clickbait or tech reviews).

The Apartment/Intro Setup (My strongest visual memory):
The videos were shot in landscape/horizontal format. In my memory, they always start in his relatively small apartment/living room. He sits on a normal chair in the center talking directly to the camera. The frame is laid out exactly like this:

  • Center/Background: Directly behind his chair is a beige seamless paper roll backdrop that rolls down from above (it looks like a DIY home setup).
  • Left Side of the Frame: Since the room is small and the paper doesn't cover the whole wall, you can see past the backdrop on the left. Hanging prominently on a stand or mannequin is his black cold-water wetsuit/neoprene suit.
  • Right Side of the Frame: On the right side, you can see past the paper roll into a part of his actual living room decor.

The Only Two Videos I Remember (Both seemed to be Single-Day Trips):

  • Video 1 (The Mountain Hike): He starts at his chair, explains his day, packs a backpack, and goes hiking up a barren, stony mountain completely solo, but he has his dog with him. At the peak, he doesn't do a big show—he just sits there and chills alone. He is back home by the end of the video.
  • Video 2 (The Seal Island): Same intro in front of the beige paper roll. He takes his paddleboard, kayak, or boat and travels to a completely rocky, bare, and grey island (no trees, no green grass, just raw stone in cold water). He sits on the rocks, writes in a physical paper notebook, puts on his black wetsuit, and gets into the water to chill/lay down right next to wild seals that swim up to him.

EDIT: Maybe it was in Instagram. And i think he worked with national geographics or something like that.

He seemed to be a smaller, independent creator rather than a massive mainstream influencer.

Does anyone recognize this specific apartment setup or remember this creator? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Dahmer movie or tv movie

Looking for a Dahmer film or TV movie from the 1990s or early 2000s. Jeffrey has been arrested and is sitting handcuffed on the edge of a bed. His father asks the officers to let him put Jeffrey's shoes on, or kneels to help him. The father is gentle and resigned. The film has a warm orange/brown color palette, with an older house surrounded by trees.

Weird soccer burger image (mockup made from memory)

Post image
2 Upvotes

This is a mockup of a picture my friend, who was really into soccer, showed me a few years ago. It was so funny and I had no clue where he could have possibly gotten it from. While making the mockup, I didn't know which soccer player it was so I just got a random picture of a soccer player, I also don't remember exactly what was in the bottom left but I'm pretty sure it could've been a burger. If anybody could help me find this image, it'd be great and I'd appreciate it

please help me find a video of my 1st grade class teacher winning a silver apple, around 2014-2016

i’ll try and include every detail i can remember. i’m pretty sure it was between 2014-2016, news cameras came in and filmed our class, the teachers name was pronounced Mr. Merrel, but it could be spelled differently. i remember he was around 30 years old, white, and had brown hair. it was in Naples florida in collier county. i’m pretty sure the main award is a golden apple, but he won a silver apple.

i don’t want this post taken down, i’m not trying to find the teacher or anything, i just want to see the video of me and my class, but since the video is about him i figured it might help to describe him
