I found this beauty at my local HPB for $27!!!!! It's not signed, I'm not sure if there were signed copies sold? But that's okay, because I never thought I would actually own the FL edition (the resale price vs customizations just wasn't justifiable to me), so I'm BEYOND excited to find this, even if it's unsigned!!! 🦄

It's got some shelf wear but I have zero complaints at this price point 😭 I just happened to look down at the Fourth Wing section and saw the UK cover with the black sprayed top, and I assumed it was Waterstones, so I was pleasantly surprised to see the full edge!!!

& this is exactly why I always go at least twice a month, even just to browse!! 😭❤️🥹🫶🏻

I really like the dust jacket and the character art - everything else is really underwhelming, especially the naked hardcover! I’m hoping the flowers & symbols make sense after I read the book

I’m the worst at taking photos! So just assume this book is 10x better looking than in the photos.

I am so pleased with how this turned out! It fits my bookshelf theme perfectly and I’m excited for this story too.

ok, I need some help deciding what to get over the next two months! I have both the FL Romantasy and Adult subs and need to see If I can cut any. I have read reviews and they are mostly positive so I am hoping someone here has read a couple of them (or all of them) and can say what they think is really worth it.

Likes: yearning, slow-burn, BANTER! Love triangles are fine, one bed/horse, forced proximity, fake dating, masked/hidden identity,

Dislikes: Insta-love, reverse harem, too much telling instead of showing, modern slang/references in a fantasy world, Mating bonds used as a plot device to skip straight from enemies to insta-lust

Some of my favorite books: ACOTAR, Plated Prisoner, Divine Rivals, Dance of Thieves, Assistant to the Villian, From Blood and Ash, The Red Queen

I preordered so fast! I love these covers compared to any of the other alternatives, but the cracked spines of the paperbacks bothered me

Thought I’d share some pics of the FaeCrate June Adult book since there was a lot of discussion around it when it was announced. While I haven’t read the book, I personally really like the dust jacket and edges. I’m keen to see what the other book box editions end up looking like.

Looks like Bewitched Pages will be doing a frontlist subscription box as well! They just posted a teaser on their Instagram.

No details yet, but they said the waitlist will open soon.

Personally speaking, I’m feeling a bit apprehensive because the book box market is already so oversaturated, on the other hand I am very curious to see how they will differentiate themselves amongst the rest. 👀 What do you guys think?

Sometimes I think about it and wonder what it could be. Would they follow IC's lead and do something like Afterlight*? Horror? Sci-fic? historical fantasy? I dream of them doing something like owlcreate and creating a separate sub for dystopia.

*I'm thinking something like Afterlight, romance, dark romance—contemporary romances, without the fantasy, you know what I mean. They sometimes release special editions of "no fantasy" romances or dark romances, whatever.
