Hey Faeria folks. I picked up Faeria again after years away with the Steam sale.

Excited to play again with the DLCs, but I am now stuck trying to beat the World Boss's. I already had beaten the first few and now stuck on Udina and the second survival maps.

I could challenge the further bosses and come back, but they just get harder right?

I have so far tried red to aggro down the enemies but I don't get enough faeria to play all the removal. I have tried green to taunt my way through it but similar challenge to get enough creatures on board. I haven't not been able to piece together a deck that can get through the final turn or two since there is a mad rush of damage that comes in the last 2 turns.

Thoughts? I don't have all the cards yet because I just got back into it, so I have the hammers but only 1 new card every 6 hours from those.

I decided to reinstall for nostalgia, but wondering about how dead the matchmaking is.

How long are average queue times? What mode is the best chance for a game? causal or ranked? Are there any days/ times that the community organizes for playtimes/events?

I have dragged out this Pandora decks I drafted with 4 Thyrian Expedtions for months now. They're just the best when increased quantity beyond 3 and can respond to anything when ahead.

For years I complained because 3 DLC trophies were glitched and they were showing as 0.00% for everyone.

But just randomly checking today and all 3 of them are now at 1.3%

Have these been fixed?

I used to play Faeria quite actively a long time ago, and I just came back to the game after a long break.

I am facing an issue that I cannot figure out. The "Play" button is not active for me. I select a deck, but I simply cannot press "Play" because it remains inactive.

On top of that, I also do not have the option to create a new deck, which makes things even more confusing.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Could you please advise what might be causing this and how to fix it?

God I wish the devs still cared about this game… really wish they would’ve added 3-4 player modes with 2v2 or free for all before they gave up on it. Also wish there was more co op content… sigh.

What is the most active game mode to find other players? Love this game, but ranked seems to take a while to match, are more people playing the pandora draft mode?

The card sometimes damages enemies and sometimes doesn't. I used to think it only didn't damage enemies if it landed next to more than 1 but I just had a game where it landed against only 1 enemy and didn't do anything. WTF!?

The game has recently been updated with a new solo mode and has a gem incentive to pull players back to the game. I didn't know if a new studio picked up the game or the old devs are working on the game again.

Edit: False alarm on the new mode. Apparently it was added years ago.

Currently revisiting a few of my older games and god damn, I rly miss Faeria. I know that it is still up n running, but I think most of u know what I mean, when its just not the same when a cardgame no longer gets new cards(granted, I got over 1000 hours out of the game, but that also means I kinda played it to death).
There just was no other cardgame like it, the closest thing is probably Summoner Wars 2E, which is a great game as well, but still very different(which ultimately is a good thing, I definitly dont want all the cardgames to be the same, but it also means that SW2E doesnt quiiite scratch the specific Faeria-itch)

Dreamer Reaver increments to 98 directly. and if you have 9 cards in hand, then play the last treasure map, it first draws a card from the deck, but then doesn't let you choose a treasure. It kinda dead locks, only cards with a Faeria cost of >0 can be played afterwards. Too bad if you played Aurora's Dream before -.-

And the daily quests are also not updated.

Edit: ouh, and you can earn the "Play Aurora's dream and win" achievement, although it was supposed to work only for PvP fights .

I am planning to buy this game as it is at 50% off. I play mostly multiplayer. Is the multiplayer scene alive? How are the matchmaking? How is yhe queue? Is it worth buying it?

I have bought the game just maybe over a week ago as i had it bookmarked years ago and since it was on sale, i decided to finally give it a go. I have been so nicely surprised by the game. I really love it so far but just now saw that the devs abandoned it years ago. I was thinking of buying some of the expansions since the sale is still on on switch but i am afraid of servers being shut down in the future. Is that a realistic fear? Thanks for the input!
