Mature Graduate - Interview Advice

Hi all.

I've received a few rejections lately that hint to either my age or my age an ambition (m32).

Obviously I'm a bit older than most graduates but I wonder what balance should I strike in an interview.

I obviously need to sound motivated and driven but there seems to be an assumption that I will want to move on or up within the first year.

It's quite annoying

Anyone here work away from home (staying overnight)?

Interested if anyone from more rural area works away from home in bigger cities or abroad, and what arrangements or schedules do you work ?

Would you recommend it and do you think the travel is worth it? I know you can get good benefits like subsistence.
