So I went to see my favorite bands last night (Oolong, Panucci's Pizza, and Dogleg), and whenever one of the bands started riffing hard as heck, I would get in the pit and start shoving everybody like you're supposed to. But everybody was doing this weird 1-2, 1-2 dance move, kicking their feet, and would get upset at me when I pushed them. I don't understand! By the time Jank played their secret set, people were trying to fight me. Twinkle emo pits aren't for dancing to the beat, they're for shoving others to the ground and singling out people smaller than you. I'm going to a hardcore show soon, so hopefully that crowd will better understand how you're supposed to mosh when I start pushing people around during breakdowns.

I hear a lot of clean guitar parts in Blink 182 songs, and I know that clean guitar is pretty much what makes a song emo, I’m curious if American Football were huge fans of Blink 182 or if they toured together or something.
