How does the Deebot x12 handle pet hair and hair tangles?

I've been keeping an eye on the Deebot X12 for a while, and the new anti-tangle brush looks interesting.
Cola is a golden retriever, so there's hair everywhere all the time. My biggest concern is whether it can keep up with all that fur without the brush getting wrapped up every run.
Anyone using it with a heavy shedder? Does the anti-tangle brush works?

Goat A3000 Pro keeps disappearing from the app

I've had a new Goat A3000 Pro for just over a week and I'm already at my wits end. The robot has randomly disappeared from the app 3 times. The first 2 times I was able to get it back via multiple attempts of logging out/in, clearing cache/data, uninstall/reinstall app. This 3rd time it's not coming back. I've also tried power cycling it, completely disabling 5GHz on my router, and re-pairing but the Bind step fails saying it's already bound.

The 1st & 3rd times the robot disappeared while mowing and even though it was gone from my app, I continued to get notifications that it was returning to the dock for a recharge and that it finished mowing.

Support has been absolutely no help. Their only suggestion was that maybe it was caused by "network fluctuations" and I should try re-pairing. As stated above, re-pairing doesn't work. I also have an internet monitor and I have not had any outages for a long time so the "network fluctuations" hypothesis is bunk. I see the robot in my router/AP client list with a valid IP address. Their last communication to me was 7/18; I've written 3 times since then with no response.

Cat vs T90

Hahah she really is the chillest cat

I like lines in my carpet! And my Ecovac Deebot T80 Omni puts them there like a champ! This reasonably priced machine does a great job at both mopping and vacuuming. With 2 dogs and 2 cats, it has earned its keep.

Tassel Rugs are barriers?

I couldn’t figure out why my T90 wasn’t cleaning some big parts of my room, and I realized it’s because there’s a tassel rug that has obstacles on both sides of one end, and the robot literally will not go over the tassels. Is there any way to tell it to just ride over the tassels? Seems like a pretty big limitation.

I thought X9 navigation was bad but X12 can't even go back to charging station and basically tries to drive through apartment walls. Here's a picture

X11 vs X12 - which Ecovacs robot vacuum is worth buying?

I'm considering getting a new robot vac and have narrowed down my options to ecovacs X11 and X12.

Most of my floors are hardwood, with carpet only in the bedrooms. Since I have a Husky, my biggest concern is how well it handles things like paw prints, dirt, dust, and debris from carpets. I'm also curious which one lasts long enough to clean the whole house in one go. My place is around 2,900 sqft, so I'm looking for a robot vac with long battery life.

Anyone else torn between these two models? What made you choose that model, and how has it been so far?

Ecovacs Deebot T80S wardrobe "entrance"

Hi all! I'm considering buying a Deebot T80S and have a possibility of hiding the station inside a wardrobe. The inside of the wardrobe is 55cm wide, 70cm deep and 60cm high.

What i'm worried about is what size the "entrance" for the robot should be. The manual says that the station (not the robot) needs 5cm each side for it to function properly. The station is 33.8cm, the robot itself is 35.3 so adding 10cm that would be 45cm. I'm thinking of making a hole in the bottom of the wardrobe door that is 45cm wide and 15cm high which technically would be slightly wider even than what they are asking

Does anyone know by any chance if that will be enough for it to roll through the door and not have a problem?

Hi I’ve been using a t8 aivi for 5 years and always worked perfectly. Did a bit of maintenance, changed parts, etc…
Just recently the robot started tilting the map a bit each cleaning. It’s a huge map ( a warehouse) I also tried to create a new map, starts straight and then gets wonky slowly.. what’s going on? It’s unusable now, any help? Thanks

T90 Pro Omni vs T90 Pro Omni Care

Post image
3 Upvotes

Sorry if this is obvious and I am just tech-stupid, but is this the same model vacuum? Is this just the T90 Omni Pro with extra accessories or is it a completely different model robot?

I want to buy the T90 Omni Pro and it is out of stock everywhere and on the ecovacs website it says to buy this one while it is out of stock because it has more accesories and a auto detergent dispenser on the T90 Pro Omni page.

Again, sorry if it's obvious I'm just trying to buy a freaking robot vacuum that will cut down my daily cleaning and it's insane navigating the tech world.

t80 matter support

Yo it supports matter 1.4. They sent a newsletter about older models being supported later last year, but newer ones are also supported (its duh but like for those that don't know any better). https://matterdevices.io/ lists the supported models although it doesn't state which are on 1.2 or 1.4, but if it's a newer model it's probably 1.4.

Using the Home Assistant integration anyway though for automation stuff, but for the family having siri be able to clean certain places really does help.

Question W2S Omni vs W3S Omni – which one should I choose?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for advice from people who have experience with window cleaning robots.

My house has a lot of windows: it is a two-story house with both smaller windows and large glass panels (the biggest ones are around 3x4 meters). Because of the amount of glass, I’m looking for a reliable robot that can handle regular cleaning.

I’m currently choosing between the W2S Omni and the newer W3S Omni.

The prices I can get:

- W2S Omni – around €300 (special offer)

- W3S Omni – around €600

So the W3S costs twice as much.

For those who have used either of these models:

- Is the W3S significantly better in real-life use?

- Are the improvements worth paying double?

- How do they perform on large glass panels?

- Which one would you buy today if you had to choose again?

I’m mainly interested in reliability, cleaning quality, speed, edge cleaning, and how well they handle a large house with many windows.

Thanks for sharing your experiences!

My robot disconnected as per usual, but now I have to change the WiFi frequency? I've never had this before. Honestly if they could stop putting in world cup themes and just make the damn thing work I would be tumescent with delight. As it is, for the sake of fuckkkkk

finally pulled the trigger on ecovacs n50 pro omni

Bought a Deebot N50 Pro Omni ealier this year during the Summer Sale after keeping an eye on it for a while. The discount finally convinced me to give it a try.

I've just used it for not a long time, but it's already saving me a lot of effort. One thing I really like is that hair doesn't seem to get wrapped around the brush nearly as much as I expected, which means less time spent cleaning the robot itself. The station is also convenient since it does most of the maintenance automatically.

So far, I'm happy with it. No regrets.

How to change default running mode?

Hi everyone.

I have a deebot t50 pro omni gen2 and im trying to understand how to change the default running mode in the app.

If I just select a room and start the robot it will start by vacuuming and mopping at the same time. I want it to start vacuuming only, but I cant seem to understand how to change that.

Any help?

Question T90 omni pro mop scent

I have a t90 omni pro. I use ecovacs cleaning solution for mopping. With the 1:200 dilution ratio, it doesn't leave a clean scent. Is there anything I can add to the clean water tank that would leave a fresh scent after mopping?

Question Alternative Cleaning solutions for Ecovacs T90 Pro Omni?

Post image
4 Upvotes

The ecovacs solution states it may cause cancer or reproductive harm, I am really trying to avoid using it even though I have more than half a bottle left. Do you think if I dilute any of the Mr. Clean cleaning solutions, they will not completely destroy my base station or robot vacuum? Has anyone tried different ones? If yes, which ones?

Question My Experience with the winbot w3

I used to hire cleaners for my floor to ceiling windows, but it got too expensive and working around their schedule was a hassle. So I got a winbot w3. Here are some of my takeaways from using it. It's easy to use. After adding cleaning solution or water, simply place the machine on the glass and it will automatically attach itself. Then the winbot will take care of the rest. I can also choose different cleaning modes through the app or the dock depending on your needs. During cleaning, the winbot keeps the pad consistently damp instead of using a cloth that gradually dries out when you clean windows by hand. I've found that it does well at removing dust, rain marks, and everyday grime from my windows. It also doesn't leave those water streaks behind. There's almost no extra maintenace needed. The pad can be cleaned automatically in the dock after use. Before the next cleaning, I just add cleaning solution or water and it's ready to go. Overall, for someone like me with large windows at home, this product can definitely saves a lot of time and effort.

DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI making loud clicking/grinding noise only while mopping

Hi everyone,
I recently bought a DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI, and I’m concerned about a loud mechanical clicking/grinding noise.
The strange part is:
✅ Vacuum-only mode is completely quiet.
❌ The noise only occurs during Vacuum + Mop.
The sound starts as soon as the roller mop is engaged.
The cleaning performance seems normal, but the noise doesn’t sound normal to me.

Has anyone experienced this with the X8 PRO OMNI?
A few questions:
Is this considered normal for the roller mop mechanism?
Could it be something caught in the roller assembly even if nothing is visible?
Has anyone had a faulty roller, bearing, or gearbox that caused a similar noise?
If you had this issue, what was the solution?
The robot is essentially brand new, so I’m trying to determine whether this is something I can fix myself or if I should contact ECOVACS for a warranty replacement.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Question Deebot X11 Omnicyclone has suddenly started leaving streaks and smears

Post image
5 Upvotes

I've had mine since March and it's worked great the whole time until about a week ago. Suddenly it leaves streaks and smears/spots all over the place. It's awful.

I've seen other posts about this, but haven't seen anyone mentioning that it randomly started happening 4 months in after having been working perfectly.

I tried replacing the roller mop just last night and decided to turn the water down to 25 from 30 where it's been. Though, it would not make sense that a software setting would solve this since, once again, it's been working fine for 4 months on the same settings.

This is how it looks when it's running. The roller is clearly not hitting the floor fully it seems? So it's cleaning poorly and then leaves those streaks after. This is right now with the brand new roller, which made 0 difference from the old.

Do I need to just contact ecovacs or what's going on here? I don't really understand what would be causing this unless something broke I guess? Any ideas or things I could try?
