Discussion Can anyone explain to me what a overtable disc is?
What does an overstable disc do, and what kind of discs are overstable?

A disc makes a nice password when you need something not simple but easy to remember. It is best between three and five letters and when it has turn. You just alternate the name and flight numbers.
Eagle would be:
E7a4g-1l3e
It has a capital letter, a number, and a symbol. It looks like gibberish but can be easy to remember.

Found this disc couple months back and it was love at first throw. Little did I know how fleeting our time together would be.

This is mostly on my own self image, but I recently had a long stay in hospital with heart issues, pneumonia and diabetes not helping out. I have changed my lifestyle and instead of being on the verge of death I am doing really well. I am 63 years old. I decided a fun way to get my exercise in was to play disc golf (I live about one mile from a course). However, a few years ago I had rotator cuff surgery and after a couple of rounds my shoulder really ached. I did not want to injure it. So I have switched to just throwing light, plastic frisbees. Are you looking at me on the course and thinking I'm some stupid, ignorant person who is too dumb to know those are not legal discs? For me, this exercise is life or death. Sometimes I feel like I have to explain it to people.

The price for the products listed seem too good to be true, so I was wondering if anyone has had experience with buying from them. Shop

Disc golf is the rare sport where pros show up to random local leagues with the general public. So it is not uncommon to play a full round with a touring pro. Let’s hear some stories about the best people on tour.

Look who’s back!! Always great to have Simon on the channel, and I’m happy to say it was on the back nine at Red Apple Farm, which I helped design! Can’t wait to see this course continue to grow in the next few years!

I've gone the past couple of years. I mentioned the tournament to my 5 year old and he wanted to go. I think he may be able to handle it, but I also think it might end with me carrying him part of the day. I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with bringing a young kid to USDGC.

Question for any Fort Collins locals, how far is hole 12? I’m visiting but managed to get the eagle this evening on my round. Course signage has it at 468ft, but UDisc has it at 557ft. Anyone know what it actually is? Secondly, hole 1, par 3 on course signage, par 4 on UDisc, which is it?

I'm thinking about a long day trip to Lake Tahoe to play disc golf. I've played Bijou and Zephyr and would play them again. Is there a third course that would make a long dive worth it?

Does the Ledgestone only allow ticketed people to watch the non pro brackets? Like if I’m playing MA4 and my family wants to watch at least a round do they need to buy tickets or can they just show up?

Hit one for a Quake yesterday at league, hit this one tonight at doubles.
And i conveniently enough, I’ve been trying to find a good straight mid. I’ve been bouncing between a hex and a buzzz lately.

Hey everyone!
I have a couple acres with 5 baskets set up, each with LED's attached to the top as well ws LED's attached to like 6 discs and i have solar powered LED'S that stake in the ground. This has worked pretty well but the cheap LED discs leave a little to be desired.
I have enough actual glow discs from like mvp and innova for a few of us to play at night. What's the best way to charge up the glow? I see whats looms like blackligjt flashlights of sifferent sizes and containers with lights inside you stash your discs in between throws to charge.
In y'alls experience, what works best. Many thanks,!!

For all of the Teebird throwers, if you could only bag one which would it be?

I lost my Mako and found this factory second going through some old discs. Is this the pen mark for a Mako?

This is a lite version of my Pitcher Pack that a lot of people were asking for. It removes a lot of the extra pockets that most players do not need to save time, material, and cost. The pack still retains the water bottle holders, sturdy tie down/clipping points, removable straps, and 18 disc capacity.
This is also a great option for anyone looking to haul 12 discs and still have space for their jacket, snacks and beverages in the middle of the pack.
It's made from 13.5 oz waxed canvas and now features a 1200D Cordura bottom panel for added durability. The seams are sewn with B92 UV bonded polyester along with heavy duty polyester webbing to resist degradation in the sun. The weight comes in at 1lb 15oz or 875g, which is super light for a backpack.
The packs are designed, patterened, and sewn by me in my fabric studio. All work is guaranteed for life, and I will repair or rebuild damaged bags should they need it. Custom and made to order options are also available for a small mark up.

The packs are named after the carnivorous Pitcher Plant which features a similar shaped leaf lid to shed rainwater.

Hello, I'm trying to decide what skill division to enter into for my first tournament. My original plan was to enter at the lowest available level but I've procrastinated playing a tournament and improved a lot since starting.
I tend to range between 170 & 230 on UDisc with a "everyday" rating of 210.
I know I will play much worst in the tournament scenario than a typical casual round. I follow the rules strictly for my "scored" throws but the pace of play and pressure will likely get to me. I also take extra shots and extra putts all the time (I don't count these to my score but they do help me "tune" my throwing/putting). I.E. I always throw two putters to get an extra practice. I might try a few drives to see how different discs/approaches work.
The local C tier near me goes all the way from AM4 to MPO.
Even though it's my first tournament I don't want to be the jerk throwing 400+ in AM4, but I don't want to underestimate tournament pressure and be completely outclassed by the wrong skill division. Would AM3 be a competitive place to start?

Starting to really work on having a forehand that's more than just a Berg upshot.
What are your favorite forehand discs in each speed class?

Just recently moved back into the state and have taken up disc golfing in the last couple months. Any recommendations for courses? I’ve played a good bit so far.

alright so I made a post last night and wanted to get some positivity going. Who is the most positive, best fan interaction, etc touring pro and why?
Since I went off watching a Go Throw video to nominate Joel Freeman for obnoxious, I'll give a shout out to Nate Sexton. Never met him or been able to watch him in person but always love his commentary and love how he pops in here every once in a while.
