I'm a solo iOS dev and a collector and got tired of not having a good way to catalog my dice so I built Rollect. You photograph a set and it identifies and catalogs it. The identification uses an AI vision model and the photo is used only for that lookup ā then you can search, filter, tag, and track your whole collection. There's a dice roller with roll history and you can share a card for any set if you want to show off what you've got. It's free on TestFlight, iPhone (iOS 17+). I'm looking for collectors to try it and tell me what's missing or broken, especially how it handles handmade and artisan sets since my own collection is small. Comment or DM if you want the TestFlight link. Happy to answer anything.
THE SUMMER SALE IS HERE!
The summer is a time for cool waves, the great outdoors, and ignoring all of that to hang out indoors with our friends and AC! (Pun intended) Until August 10th all items in the shop are 25% off! That included the full sets, the large d20s, and the Dagger Heart dice. And this is a good opportunity to try the prism dice style or stick with the standard stained glass style.

I know for things like chessex borealis there are preferences for the dice to be clearer or have the glitter look like itās imbedded deeper into the dice. Is there something similar for Crystal Caste moonstone and Fire Opal lines?

I'm planning to start making resin dice using clear epoxy resin, glitter, mica powder, and resin ink. I've already made a shopping list (respirator, heat gun, mixing supplies, gloves, etc.) and watched quite a few tutorials, so I have a general idea of the process.
However, when I asked one of my friends for advice, they warned me to be very careful about the chemical reactions involved, especially when it comes to disposing of leftover resin. They made it sound pretty dangerous, and now I'm honestly a bit nervous.
On the other hand, I also asked someone who has been making resin dice for a while, and they told me it's not a big deal as long as you're careful and follow basic safety precautions.
So now I'm not sure what to believe.
Is working with epoxy resin really that dangerous? Are there any common mistakes that beginners make or things I absolutely should or shouldn't do?
I want to make the dice for my player in my dnd campaign.
Thank you.

I'm looking for Canadian shops to buy dice from, any reccomendations if possible. International shipping is quite expensive nowadays so prefer to look in my own country.

I am in the start of my collection. Mostly do to TTRPG. First photo are dice I bought many years ago for another purpose. 13 total some nice d6.
The 2 other photos are new sets. The black is Cats Dice Set from Poland bought on Amazon. The pearlescent orange and cream is a mystery set from DND dice goblin standard edition.
It's a start. I will need a few more sets. I will buy those from Roll 4 Initiative or Die Hard Dice or Dice Envy.

Iām very certain the first two are just borealis chessex given the hooked 7 and underline 6 and 9. But not sure which type of each they are and looking for some confirmation.
The third photo just has pips, so Iām having trouble telling if these are chessex or a different brand.
Any help appreciated

Hi! Im making a set of plush dnd dice and i was sewing the sides of the d20 and accident rotated some of the numbersā¦. Itll be a pain to redo them, though doable, and i cant seam rip and redo it with this fabric.
Will the rotated numbers even be noticeable? If not then ill do it as is, if its something very noticeable, ill redo themā¦.

I come once again with dice from my father who passed away collection. Iām becoming more knowledgeable but still a newbie so reaching out for help!
Photo 1: these where his metal dice I couldnāt ID. It seems like some of them look similar like the big d20 matches the dice next to them. And the bottom two on the right are similar but different material.
Photo 2: through my learnings I believe these are all OG chessex borealis, but just looking for some confirmation on that.
Photo 3: these were some more unique ones I just thought were cool. Some Larger then standard and fit into more then one container. I really like the white ones in the middle, ones chipped if I could get a ID for a replacement would be appreciated!
I donāt have a Facebook but many people have mentioned dice groups. I still have 100~ sets Iām not sure about whatās what. Would it be faster to do this ID work through Facebook? Iām basically at the end of dice with any sort of easily identifiable brand so I imagine the job becomes much harder at this point.

Going through my fatherās collection and need some more help IDāing dice.
First photo are probably all the same brand. You can see a different animal for each diceās max roll which is pretty cool.
Second photo is ice dice, but canāt tell which one. They are very bluish/green.
Third photo is the hardest I think. He told me they were glass if I remember correctly. Came in a beautiful wooden box with no markings or symbols on it.

I have an old set from the early 90s I think. Itās may fave, but my kids lost the d4 several years ago. Iāve bought a couple sets hoping to get something close, but the purples do match.
The color Iām looking for is on the right. Itās a dark purple. The one on the left is way too light, the center is too grapeā¦. Anyone have any ideas where I could find one?

I have a small piece of amber that would like processed into a D20. Does anyone know of a reputable name to whom I could send my rock and transform it into a math rock?

At the beginning of 2026 a group of 85+ tabletop artists and makers came together to auction handmade dice, artwork, dice trays, jewelry, and more to raise just over $17,000 for legal and mutual aid in immigrant communities.
After seeing the impact we made in March, we've realized thereās more that we could do. And weāre back to answer the call. We are powerful when we unite, build community, and work toward the greater good. Every act of kindness and generosity makes a difference. Together, we can create the world we want to live in.
I'm not a creator but am a donor to the first campaign and wanted to raise awareness for the cause and the great creators putting their work up for donation.
