This is more of a question for the community, but I was using howl of the storm for literal years before it became meta. With the ability to kill basically every enemy instantly, regenerate health, and spam more crystals than a super, does anyone think it might be a little op? Especially with the icebreaker, it can stun any champion and the cosmodrome set makes breaking the crystals way too easily. I know that it will never get nerfed, but maybe save it for the high end content instead of matchmade fireteam ops?

Is every dungeon and raid infinitely farmable for its exotic?

I've seen posts saying only when its featured and ive seen posts saying its doesnt have to be featured.

What is the ACTUAL truth??

Because ive been farming Warlords Ruin on the assumption that dungeons are now infinitely farmable. Am I wasting my time and should I wait until its featured??

Hello, I'm playing a Sunbreaker Titan build and really enjoying it, but I noticed there's a triumph relating to the sunspots and I can't seem to get the number up at all while playing.

I've included a screenshot of my build, I'm running the Sunshot exotic with Dreambane armour bonuses and I have the Hallowfire Heart exotic armour to enhance the abilities.

I was originally running Shieldburst instead of Roaring Flames until recently to see if that will help me but so far the number hasn't ticked up still

Am I not running the strategy correctly, am I missing something? Any advice or a guide on the process to incinerate enemies would be great

Hey guys, i cannot for the life of me find anywhere on the internet a updated way on getting mask of bakris. Every one says go to rahool but I cant even focus it at all because its not in my collections. Am I stuck with rng with exotic engrams for this one?

The shapes can be the class symbols: Snakes for Hunters, Eagles for Warlocks and Lions for Titans.

Are there any exotic orders that are PvP only? I pretty much exclusively play PvP now, I’ve found that PvE has gotten really dry, but I keep getting exotic orders for only PvE activities. I’ve spent 600k glimmer this week alone trying to get a PvP only one and i’m convinced they don’t exist. I want these new catalysts, but I honestly can’t be asked to get S+ on an exotic mission twice. Thanks!

Is it worth doing FS in legendary anymore , i havent done it on hunter and started the legendary but the rewards are crap just 1 gun from each mission not even tier 5

I know the title seems very out of context but here’s some background,

I’m a long time warframe player with over 2000+ hours from middle school to college. Recently I heard that Bungie was ending new concurrent updates. This surged the player count dramatically and now everyone is online, new and old. I want to be part of that percentage.

I already bought the collection edition btw (On sale).

My knowledge of Destiny is very little. Destiny was one of those games I played back when it wasn’t free but on trial until level 25 I think? I was a broke kid and fell out of it for something more convenient and free such as Warframe. And in that span of many years Destiny has seen its fair share of DLC content and updates. So obviously I was left behind.

I returned only a couple times this year to relive my childhood again as I had adult money to spend now. And to say this game was confusing isn’t an understatement. The beginning of the game is very smooth, but after that? It’s like being left to swim with no lifejacket. Dozens of UI’s, multiple quests, locked content, and just roaming the tower I was even confused on where I was in the story at all. Why things were happening, why there was a million vendors now compared to when I played as a kid. Obviously things changed and for the worse almost. The new player experience isn’t friendly at all.

But after watching dozens of guides and videos explaining to me what to do. I still felt confused. So now ik this post was very vague and this might not even be the right time to play Destiny but whatever it is I want to at least try and say I did it.

For anyone who has tips on where to start? Maybe lore background? Videos to help? Overall opinions and tips and tricks are welcome. I’m starting from scratch and I have an idea of what the game is and how it functions but overall no idea where to begin after the tutorial.

I am only into Destiny for about 30 hours since I started for the first time two weeks ago. So the confusion is still ongoing.

At the beginning of the Witch Queen campaign they want you to kill your first hive ghost, but i missed the on-screen prompt on how exactly to do that. These prompts are visible for like one microsecond and you basically miss all of them.

So how do I kill a hive ghost ? Is it maybe the same input as my regular "finisher" ???

What is the best way to farm the weapons after completing the quest and getting access to attunement? I’ve seen recommendations to do the first encounter, but I don’t know what feats to activate. TIA

I come from playing this game for 5+ years and in that time I never did any raids or dungeons cause I couldn't afford the keys and PS Plus. Now that Monument of Triumphs has come out I've been back in the game for around 2 months. In that time I have managed to run/learn every dungeon and a sizeable chunk of the raids however everytime I try and find folks who will teach any of the Pantheons I get ignored because everyone is so focused on just doing it with people who know what they're doing. Plus the amount of times I've seen "bring xyz loadout or kick, know what to do or kick, one phase or kick". Why is it so unwelcoming to those who haven't done those raids when they existed in game and toxic to those who don't run meta?

I am a returning player, left right after finishing the forsaken arc, so I have been gone for some time. I recently returned and am playing through the entire story as we speak.

My question is

Is there a current "meta" for gear (pvp and pve) or is gear balanced?

A couple of things, is there no more onslaught 50 waves or master mode?
Secondly, the rotation has just been midtown and widow’s court for 4 weeks now, are all of the other maps just gone?

I put the game down during heresy and came back during MoT, but I am really confused about this. I like onslaught a lot for build testing but the map variety at least would be nice.

Most of the master lost sectors I seen while armor farming at YouTube recommended spots were bit too easy. But now that I am done farming and already have decent gear I am looking for some challenge runs. Where can I find some rather tough lost sectors ?

I just came back from a break from destiny and my warlock friend is putting 75-109k damage in one fase and he is really smug about it. I don’t know how he is doing that, but I need some of this, I just bought the new dlc so all hunters give me your juiciest most nasty builds.

Ptt: help me I really want to make him lest smug about it, since he killed Atheon before we could even get out of the portal on a 5 person ride by himself he’s acting like it’s gojo satoru or sum lolol

I know the 4 piece set bonus procs off of this, but I have no idea how to gain, spend, or lose an armor charge. Sometimes I’ll notice I have 1 armor charge when I’m playing and I think it’s from picking up an orb of power (how are those generated too?), but I’m not sure. Also is your max armor charge 3? Because all I’ve ever seen on the side of my screen is a max of 3 armor charge
