Hey, does anyone know if this song is still available on The Blessed Resistance? I came across a FaceBook post talking about how it’s on there, but I wasn’t sure if it was outdated

I am once again ready to hop into Black Ops 2. Took me about an hour from scratch.

I'm wanting to start collecting all the physical records of Demon Hunter as they're my favorite band! But I'm wanting to get discs with the deluxe tracks like A Fear I Used To Know and Grand Finale. Do these discs exist, and if not, where could I get the deluxe tracks? Are these mainly Blessed Resistance exclusives or are there other ways to get them?

Also, am I missing any albums with extra songs? I understand that's every album from Tryptich onwards except for Songs of Death of Resurrection and There Was A Light Here, though I'd guess that one's a "not yet."

One of the joys of becoming a parent has been to share music with my kids (7mo and 3yrs). My oldest has been pretty interested in whatever music we share with her for quite a while. Recently she has really started picking out lyrics (I've had to really step up the censorship), and just today Relentless Intolerance came on and she asks me what the song is called and then what it's about. Sure kid, let's talk about standing up for belief and not tolerating sin.

Anyway. I'm very proud of her and she likes Demon Hunter.

In school I had to make a drawing that was sea themed, I chose The Tryptic because the skull looked like an old style diver helmet

So during the last little bit of school i just completely gave up and I got the idea that because it's summer, I'll listen to Summer of Darkness every day, and so far I've listened to it every single day, and I still love it, I especially love My Heartstrings Come Undone because I'm single and Beauty Through the Eyes of a Predator because I consider it 'guilt metal' where it's basically screaming at YOU specifically, like the lines "with every foolish word that you spit, another nail you'll get" and "you've built this verdict on yourself". I also love Annihilate the Corrupt and The Latest and The Last because of their sound. Also the app UI in the screenshot is from Musicolet, non spons, it's just really good, it has an equalizer and audio balance controls, the only downside being that you have to download the music onto your phone and if you download it off of your google drive you have to manually set it to access your google drive. Anyways, Imna go listen to summer of darkness again.

So I'm curious, I check Genius Lyrics for the meaning behind their songs and on some there would be a direct quote from Ryan explaining the song meaning. But my question is: Does anyone know where these quotes are from? And if he explains any of the lyrics from There Was A Light Here? (The album)

I swear I've heard an Acoustic Version on YouTube before, but it seems it was deleted or something. I remember it isn't as good as the original for me but like, I have wanted to listen to it now and it's gone.

Have they played the song live? I haven't been able to find a live play either :(

As title says, I was exploring new genres of music and have never listened to rock before. Listened to 'Light Bends' on their last album and felt I was having a whole new human experience.

Been going down the rabbit hole of their music and wow they are so talented!!

Does anyone know the time the venue is opening it’s doors to the VIP holders? I am excited as all heck to meet the band but I would also love to get a couple shirts before they sell out in my size (always seems to happen).

Inspired by the coat I made my driver suit resemble his. Kind of, also put the line “I’m why Jesus wept” on it. Also the helmet is inspired by his tattoos, with Gods Work on either side. This is in the game Gran Turismo 7. I’ll probably add more to it, just wanted to share it for now

I'd never seen them live before. I found them randomly in a store when storm the gates of hell was released. It was probably the last cd I bought because it looked cool at a store when it was new. I was Christian adjacent at the time, and the design got me. Such a great record, and honestly it changed my timeline.

Fast forward to 2026. I'll save a long ass story. They absolutely are one of the best bands of all time. Ryan Clark has such a charisma and voice. He has more confidence than prince, a fry scream that would tear a hole in Trent Reznor, and writes better ballads than every metal band. Everyone is the band is so cool, and talented.
Both guitar players are fantastic. The lead guitar player is exceptionally under rated. The bass player is perfect. He plays it so heavy sometimes, and it's just perfect. The drummer is an absolute machine. I mean, an absolute badass. I honestly could not believe all of the parts I was hearing played live. I know a lot about music production, live tracks, and triggering. This man is a monster at drums. Seriously. So impressed and happy!

They are everything I was attracted to about metal, punk rock, and Christianity in one package.

It takes balls to be demon hunter in this world. God bless them. What an amazing show!

My favorite part about the show tonight besides hearing Ryan talk about his mother and "I'm done" which I think is the best single they've ever released, was hearing Ryan say, that "they'll have to bury me before I stop releasing demon hunter records, here's to 12 more!"
