Following the success of Connecting People Vol. 1, we've returned with a new compilation bringing together familiar faces and exciting new family members. We put a lot of effort into this release, and we hope to keep the tracks coming through the Device label. Would really appreciate a listen or a follow! Keen to hear what you guys think about it.
Been a minute since I came on here guys, just been digging through archive music of late, NS, GF, 2005-2015, can't believe lvis brought this one into the future twice! Big

It blends breakbeat, glitch, ambient, and noisy textures, with some tracks live-coded in Sonic Pi and others rebuilt later in the DAW. So it kind of moves between raw, spontaneous moments and more structured ones.
I’m really into experimenting and not following strict workflows, so this project reflects that “hacky” creative approach.
If you’re into weird / unpredictable electronic stuff, check it out :>
its potze's 4th birthday so we release this remix including stone track by Mitai and aguagu by Driado go check their discography!!! this year we will realese albums with both of them.

Greetings everyone, I created this sub a long time ago and then peaced out from the internet for awhile.
Anyways, I’ve came across this sound more than a few times on tiktok. It obviously started in lots of the phonk spaces with kids online mixing baile funk meeting the overly processed maximal instrumental takes on memphis rap music. At some point this changed and materialized into this genre I really only refer to as “tiktok music”.
As soon as you hear it you know what i’m talking about, it seems to blend the aforementioned styles with lots of Trance/EDM adjacent textures, every song has 5 versions ranging from original to slow, super slow, ultra slow, and extreme slow. And in typical tiktok fashion these songs are only 1-2m long to fit the format.
Example here: https://on.soundcloud.com/cB7mJ2QPrilLuGKH6r
I never got into the initial phonk wave bc it just sounded mad corny, but with this stuff there’s enough recombination of styles that it’s fun and kinda worth taking a look at esp from this subs angle which was rly birthed from young ppl online doing the same type of thing with a bunch of genres. Where are these people? What are they listening to? Who’s influencing them?
