I've seen a fair bit about this Chrislain Matsima from Augsburg (have linked a deep dive I found) and he looks pretty good, just concerned about the injury record...

Jo Potter and the women really clutched up at the end of last season to get automatic promotion and they've made some good summer signings. I really hope to see us invest more into the team and target WSL survival.

I find this really interesting. Do you reckon Johnson has done this because França has returned from loan and feels bad that Glasner stripped him of his number when he went on loan? Or could it be that Pierre Sage doesn’t rate Johnson and is going to give the 11 shirt to a new signing or someone else more deserving? If it’s the former, Brennan is a sweetheart, the latter and it’s quite sad for him. Maybe he just wanted the 23 shirt after Canvot took the 6 because he is a big Michael Jordan fan or something. Let me know what you think, could be something else altogether.
