Like seriously. This is coming from someone who has bought legitimate copies of Master Suite since CS4 until CC launched in 2013. Teaching myself on a rented computer in a low income household through various means.
Let me reword this so if any [r/Adobe](r/Adobe) mods go full Gestapo.
I posted the same thing except I said people could be driven to privacy. And to add to that, especially in the current economy.
FIX/ADD THE FOLLOWING:
// Build Your Bundles:
I’m paying you ~$80 PER MONTH when I only use 3 programs. 4 absolute max.
// Have Tiers:
Like: \Pick 2* for $30/mo, or *Pick 3* for $45/mo*.
Is it really that crazy to only want Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere?
// Put popup dialogue boxes on the active [Photoshop] display:
I shouldn’t have to think an already kinda buggy program is frozen because the dialogue box for everything keeps opening on my main display. On top of that, there’s zero indicator in Photoshop to tell you the current status of the program or if a dialogue box is even open somewhere else.
// Let us buy Master Suite without the crazy generative AI tools:
Why not? Half of the user base would gladly pay an extra $10–$20 a month for those features IF they wanted them, but Adobe veterans don't need them, let alone rely on them.
// Retroactive discounts within a time period for new users:
So I paid $70+ a month for months on end. You back billed me for not being able to cancel until support was escalated. Despite the program never being opened, updated, or account logged into. Which physically I couldn’t due to a defective piece of hardware
// But if i create a new account…
I can get it for $39.99 a month for 3 months even though I just started a new account after this new hardware arrived and I’m not eligible because I subscribed 11 days early?
// This deserves a header:
MAKE A NEW INSTALLER/PATCHER FOR PEOPLE WHO PAID FOR OLDER VERSIONS.
The software we bought and own can’t run on our current machines and you could’ve easily made an Apple Silicon/ARM patcher/installer. You can install CS6 or lower. All 32-but installers too IIRC.
So we can’t even run the software we purchased on the past on our modern devices. That should be illegal.

7 Day Trials Are BULLSHIT for a $75 a month subscription…and back billing without even opening or communicating with the app/CC servers? Thievery that can be called Grand Larceny at a certain point.
// 7 day trials for a program that’s $75 a month? Insane. Back-billing them (FOR MONTHS EVEN) when they don’t cancel in 7 days and you don’t remind them?
You get a 7 day trial for a product that’s $70 a month, that’s insane*.
Forget to cancel, don’t even run CC or any Adobe apps ONCE, and 3 months later you go to use that account. THEY WILL BILL YOU FOR 3 MONTHS BACK DEPSPITE NEVER COMMUNICATING WITH THEIR SERVERS, SERVICES, or ACCOUNT*

You focus on enterprise based models and say “screw off” to the long time loyalists…
Why must I own a company or employ people to get reasonable service and support? It’s like you stopped caring about the people who: Gave and continue to give you free advertising via things like making tutorials (which I started doing in 2008 as I learned), spend the most percentage of their income with you

Fix your pricing model and your multi-monitor support, or SOME CUSTOMERS will either:
Migrate - Change platforms. We saw people switch to Da Vinci Resolve. And we saw people use Sony Vegas for YEARS.
Terminate - Cancel. Alter. Or make 12 dozen accounts for discount deals.
Circumvent Adobe DRM - Which means less money to pay developers and make the service better down the line.
ALLEGEDLY, you can: get a year from someone who deals with enterprise accounts for less then half the cost of a one month sub. But I’ve only heard about it and wouldn’t know where to look for something like that.
Sincerely, Someone who cancelled+ exploring options and…
A freelance multimedia artist that taught myself at 14-15 how to use Photoshop on a generously shared free copy. I fell in love with it so much I landed a professional position as a creative director right before I turned 18. And spent/referred people to spend over $7k on Master Suites CS4, CS5, CS6 and an unknown amount of money on CC in 2013 onwards. LP
Edit:
Guess who’s trying out get DaVinci Resolve now….
Man I wish Sony Vegas was still a major thing.
Edit 3: Oh another stupid bug that takes literally 40 seconds for Adobe to fix..
& Maybe Unpopular Opinion: Gradient system sucks now and has.
// Blending Options in Layer Styles doesn’t work like the main layer panel. I can’t just scroll though them and get a live preview despite live preview being on. Everything else works.
// Gradient system without the circle is better IMO. The why way they executed it was wrong and even with like corner radius’ on shapes now it isn’t the same in the current versions of Illustrator and Photoshop.
All recent versions of MacOS.
