My dumbass printed something while a print was already on the Z :(

Hi guys. I'm quite new to 3d printing and just on my first month with my K1 Se.

I'm on full klipper rooted. Ruining 10k acceleration, 200 outer walls and 300 inner walls for Pla in this video

Does my printer sound normal to you guys?

Am I just paranoid lol?

Also do i manually tension the belts or do they auto adjust on loosening the screws since I'm getting conflicting answers online.

I've cleaned my rods with ipa and a light smear of machine oil on x rods. I have noticed a little bit of black residue around the x rod bearing, what's the best way to clean this up?

I will also upload this riser as soon as it's done to show off the results and to get an idea if the print quality looks okay as Im quite new to reading prints and would love feedback from someone who has experience.

I just got this thing and it prints, runs, does the things But will not connect to my phone. I’ve done what the internet has suggested at using the hotspot on my phone. I’ve done what the printer suggested and reset the printer and forget the WiFi. I’m not the smartest but dam dude I’m not this dumb and it’s getting to me. Can someone please help me figure this out so i can just start printing please.

I am trying to print using a 0.2 nozzle, it will start of fine enough for the first few layers but then it will just stop working and become like stringy clumps is there somthing I can do?

Hi there! Woke up to a new printing day and i got the firmware update pop-up, tried on 1 k1 and 2 k1c and all printers shows the same error, any ideas?

I'm having trouble updating the firmware on my K1. Every time I try to install the update, it fails with an "Installation Failed" message. I've already tried factory resetting the printer, but the issue still occurs. I also noticed something confusing on the firmware download page. The version listed as the latest is V1.1.0.27, but under "Older Versions" there are versions such as V2.3.5.34 and V1.3.3.46, which appear to have higher version numbers. I'm not sure which firmware I should be running or if this is related to the update failure? what should i do? i reached out to creality support but as usual you need to wait 2 days for one message

No sé qué hacer con mi K1C. Ya le instalé un sistema multicolor, ahora imprime bien, tiene dos ventiladores laterales y le añadí otro sistema para fundir el filamento de alto flujo. ¿Qué hago ahora?

Lo único que se me ocurre es optimizar la salida del sistema multicolor, pero la verdad es que solo tiene dos salidas y no una torre.

O podría poner el sistema multicolor encima de la impresora, pero tengo espacio, así que no lo veo necesario.

Help! We ran a print overnight and woke up to see this huge glob of hardened pla. It has encapsulated the plastic cover plate over the front of the printhead. I can't get the silver cover plate off to try to remove the glob.

The glob has become one with with the printhead. Anybody run into this previously? Some way to soften it up possibly? Definitely can't just break it off as it as merged into the print head.

Hi, how are you? I hope you're well. I have a problem with my Creality K1. I hope you can help me. The pulley started making a strange noise, and I don't know if something came loose or if it needs to be replaced. I appreciate your help.

I started this print and even after calibration the hot end still decided to dig itself into the build plate, where the filament purges before each print. My build plate is cooked at this point. What could be causing this? I ran the calibration, changed the nozzle, made sure that the heater wasn’t loose, but the issue keeps happening. I currently have 1350 hours of print time

What is the cheapest option to run creality print? Do Chromebooks run it at all? I have a dedicated laptop for myself and my other printers but I want to start allowing my 10yo son to use my k1se.

Do I need to buy a basic windows laptop with a cheap processor? Or will something else work as well

While printing some object I already had routinely printed on my K1-SE, I checked on my printer around the 1st hour of my 4h print when I noticed that it wasn't sticking to the plate anymore... I thought it was some classic random misprint until I saw what happened.

Not sure why but it seems that the PLA somehow went up the rubber socket all the way up the back of the hotend... No way to pry it off gently, and as you may have noticed there is a cable stuck in that mess!

I'm fairly certain that at least a few parts are FUBAR, I've made my peace with the fact that I'll have to spend some money fixing it... But how?

I don't want buy another one entirely

If anyone has an idea on how to solve this with minimal damage, I'd appreciate the help!

Hi, I'm at a loss. I installed the CFS-C on my K1 Max, and at first everything worked fine, but after a few days it can no longer calibrate the print bed properly, and I don't know how to fix it.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I had a decent clog that put my k1 max out of commission until I had time to take it apart. I replaced the nozzle, took apart the toolkit and motor and removed any debris but when I try to factory reset it says there's filament detected in the extruder. I unplug the runout sensor and it still says there's filament detected. Is there any way to clear this error and factory reset my k1 max or will i have to order a new toolkit motor for this?

I got asked to help out the wife "upgrade" her K1 SE. She has purchased the CFS-C and the CFS "upgrade kit" and I've had no luck in finding any videos or instructions on how to incorporate the "Filament runout sensor" with the upgraded extruder from the "CFS upgrade kit".

My gut is telling me that there's a compatibility issue but if there's somewhere with some install instructions anyone could point me to I'd really appreciate it.

On Thursday night, I installed the official Creality DXC Extruder that I bought from Amazon by following a few YouTube tutorials. After the installation, I ran a test print and everything worked perfectly.
Yesterday, I started another print and watched the first layer go down without any issues, so I walked away. This morning, I came back and found the printer in the condition shown in the photo.
I tried another print, but it wouldn't lay down the first layer. I removed the filament, trimmed the end, reinserted it, and fed it through until it started oozing from the nozzle. I then ran a small test print, and it printed perfectly.
Feeling confident, I started a larger print that was estimated to take about two hours. I stayed and watched the beginning this time, but no filament came out of the nozzle at all.
Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this intermittent problem?

After changing out every part (motor, extruder, heating element,and nozzle, I got it to finally start printing again. But it looks like crap. What could be causing this? Bye, I am in Florida and it’s humid but the filament is in a drying case. Thanks!

I cannot figure out why my printer is not extruding properly. I've inspected the extruder teeth, taken it apart and looked for clogs, I've tried different filaments, changed the extruder nozzle, changed the PTFE tubing, tried different slicer settings, and tried different files. They all result in spaghetti. First layer typically goes down perfect, and then after a few layers it seems like the extruder isn't pushing out enough filament which causes it to miss some layers and then it gets worse and fails. It printed absolutely flawlessly for over a year and now I can even print a benchy. Anyone else had similar issues? What fixed it? I also tried printing with door and lid open for heat creep. Didn't fix it either. Printing PLA at 0.20 layer height at 215. Tried hotter and tried cooler. Still nothing.

As the title says - got a Creality K1C, friend of mine had great success with PPA-CF at 320 (she's got an H2D). Found an old thread that indicated that you can adjust a config file to push the nozzle above the factory 300C, but didn't indicate if there was any risk of damaging the hardware.

Anyone have experience with this?
