Our guy Nubsie (age 14) doesn’t get as much ottoman time as he used to bc we are concerned for him to jump off (which he’s done a few times). But tonight he was very well behaved so we let him up and he was soaking it in!! Our elderly buddy still has a lot of life in his eyes 🥹🥹

He's perfected the art of staring until someone feels guilty enough to give him a snack.

We just viewed this little guy - he’s 7 weeks old this week and he comes into our family July 31st. I haven’t had a corgi since I was 2 years old and have wanted one ever since. I can’t wait!!!

When you go with dad to work, and your whole day is spent getting petted by his customers, it can just be so exhausting….

I'm not necessarily asking if it has some grand significance, but rather how everyone got to such a name. Did you know what to call them from the beginning? How did it evolve into what eventually became their name?
I'll start:
Harvey- I had this one picked for a long time, It came shortly after I decided my future dog would be a corgi. It's a faint reference to a show I liked as a kid called "Harvey Beaks" (More specifically named for the intro song)
Harvey Wallbanger- The second evolution. This came about after I told my grandmother what his name would be, she said she'd call him Harvey Wallbanger. I looked it up after she said that and decided to make it an official part of his name because I love fruity vodka and mixed drinks that use vodka.
Harvey Eugene Wallbanger- The final version. On the way to pick him up my grandmother suggested he have a middle name, she then listed a few and landed on Eugene. It reminded me of Eugene Porter from "The Walkind Dead" and he was one of the characters I enjoyed watching grow in the series. It mostly makes me think of Early Eugene being pathetic, pissing people off, and getting knocked tf out after he admitted his biggest lie the group (It was funny), so I kept it because it made me laugh.
What's everyone else's story?

My husband and I currently have a 1.5 year old Corgi named Stella that's awesome. We got her when my husband was waiting on his green card so that we'd have someone home to train her for a while.
The women we got her from now has another corgi puppy available and we really want to get a 2nd corgi so that Stella can have company for the long times in which she's alone. Only issue is now that my husband has his green card we both work full time jobs.
When we are scheduled extra long days I take Stella to dog daycare, but I'm concerned if we get a corgi puppy, that the puppy should not be going 6-7 hours without us.
Do any of you have advice on how to make this work?

Finally a toy that actively tries to run away from her. Also don't worry about proppelers - she doesn't even touch it most of the time, just tries to look intimidating. In last few seconds you can see she's fully relaxed, so she's also not scared of it.

Hi there, I am really curious if anyone has had any luck finding ethical corgi breeders in the US. I am located in Washington State but willing to travel for the right place to pick up a baby. I have reached out to a few breeders listed on the PWCCA website but haven't heard anything back. I am also willing to wait for a puppy. If anyone has any recommendations I would be very appreciative. Thanks
