Question Tips for starting creating content on TikTok

Hello,

I want to star documenting my journey of changing my life in a very raw and human form. Stuff like jobs, workouts, etc.

I have some knowledge in digital marketing. However, I never dove deep into tiktok.

For someone who has created or has been creating content, what are the best tips you can give to a beginner?

Thanks

Question So I am thinking of being real on video content.

New to content creation, especially the short form video content. Till now (from last 2-3 months) I was trying to pick-up or mirror my fav creators. But now I am thinking of being just me. As in, not mimicking their content style, their voice, their topic types, rather just creating content as I would talk to my potential target clients. As of now, it is feeling like another job, and not a hobby. I was wondering if you guys have any guidance on whether it is the right way or anything in addition or variation that you can help a novice content creator with? Would really mean a lot.

Miss the Version of Me That Created Without Fear.

Last October, I started creating content. I'm a filmmaker, and I mainly make visual storytelling videos.

In the beginning, I created whatever I wanted without worrying about perfection or whether people would like it. I was in a flow state, and new ideas came to me almost every day.

After gaining some followers, everything changed. I became obsessed with making every video perfect. I started overthinking every idea and eventually changed my niche to documentary storytelling because I wanted to create something unique and impactful.

The problem is that now I can barely create anything. I don't get ideas like I used to, and even when I do, I overthink them until I lose motivation. My account's reach has been dropping, I'm losing followers, and it's becoming really stressful.

I feel like perfectionism has completely killed my creativity.

TikTok TikTok thinks my voice is AI. Temp acct suspension. Anyone else dealt with this?

My girlfriend and I run a Thailand travel/content creation account that we’ve spent months building. We recently passed 7,000 followers and have over 5 million likes.

Today, TikTok temporarily suspended our account for 3 days because it appears they believed one of my voiceovers was AI-generated. The thing is, it’s 100% my real voice. I used to host podcasts so I record every voiceover myself.

We’ve already submitted an appeal and are hoping someone reviews it, but we’re feeling pretty discouraged after putting so much work into growing the account.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? If so:
-Did your appeal get approved?
-Is there anything else we can do besides wait?
-Are there any steps we can take to avoid this happening again?

We understand moderation at TikTok is incredibly difficult and that mistakes happen. We’re just hoping to learn from others who’ve been through the same situation.

Thanks in advance for any advice.🙏

Question A simple football edit got way more reactions than I expected

Upvotes

I threw together a football-themed edit from a photo just for fun and sent it to a few friends. I expected them to ignore it, but instead everyone started asking how I made it.

It was funny because it took far less effort than some of the projects I've spent hours on. Sometimes the simplest ideas end up getting the biggest reaction.

Has anyone else had something quick or unexpected end up outperforming the work you put the most time into?

Question What's the fastest way you've been making World Cup content this season?

Upvotes

I'm running a small page, and keeping up with everything happening during the tournament has been harder than I expected. By the time I finish one post, there's already another big moment people are talking about.

For anyone creating World Cup content, what's your workflow for getting something out quickly without spending hours on every post? I'd love to hear what's been working for other creators.

Do you do voiceover first, then edit footage??
Or do you do the video editing, then add a voiceover?
Are you scripting?

Are AI-generated ad creatives actually outperforming human-made ones?

AI can generate ad images and copy in minutes, but I'm curious how it's performing in real campaigns.

For those who've tested AI-generated creatives:

  • Which AI tools are you using?
  • Did AI-generated ads improve CTR, CPC, or ROAS?
  • Do you publish AI creatives as-is, or do you edit them first?
  • What types of campaigns has AI worked best for?
  • Where do human-designed creatives still have the edge?

I'd love to hear real A/B testing results and lessons you've learned from using AI for ad creatives.

Instagram/Photos Growth hacking content creation, I might catch some slack for this

I’ve always wanted to start content creation (not the setup a camera and yap kind), just educational/ news content and build an audience. I started copying other people’s content that already worked and recreated it with Canva in my own brand and voice. That’s really it, dub someone else’s classwork. I know it sounds unethical or unfair, but It works. (don’t hate the player, game is game.)

It was painful repeating that process tho, I tried a few flows in N8N connected with apify, results were horrid. But at least I knew it worked. Wired things up and created convenience in an app that watched for latest posts on accounts that I’m inspired by and automatically created my own version. That’s it, your algorithm already gives you what works on a platter.

Worth clarifying, it’s not actually copying someone else’s posts. It’s copying that the format or trend works, then expressing it in your own voice.

You can try it yourself and share feedback if you have any: Mirro

Cheers!
