Best comic arc of 2026. Hope Williamson gets an Eisner nomination next year for this

I agree. And not just because it would be really funny for Prime to mention it later.

Prime being “Eisner Nominated/ Eisner Winner” would be amazing

If not, they better give him his own series and let him do his own thing for some time. I feel that these issues just started to explore his character and place in the universe and now he is going to be involved in a crossover for the next few months.

And thanks for an award.

It isn't even on the best ongoing shortlist, Ayodele Storm is.

Glad you like it, I can't imagine Williamson ever being considered an award winning writer

Clark is probably enjoying that view.

Since this person is being downvoted, just clarifying to people that Prime would not be Kara’s cousin, nor would either character typically consider themselves related.

Though his name is Clark also.

it was less about the incest angle of it and more about it being just gross in general

OK why does Superman have a metal logo and chest/shoulder plate?

It's Superboy-Prime.

This isn't Superman, it's Superboy Prime. He's filling in for Supes while he's gone so he can get his own comic book series.

Got it but that doesn't answer my actual question???

That’s his suit.

They thought it would look cool.

He's basically wearing the pelt of the villain who destroyed his universe, and the DC multiverse that he loved.

He has a armor that protects him from red sun radiation by constantly injecting yellow sun energy on him

Isn’t it anti-monitor stuff? And is he 4th wall breaking now?

He's been 4th wall breaking for A LONG TIME

He always has been, he just was more subtle with it when he was being a villain: like early 2000s-era She-Hulk: she still knew there was a fourth wall, but it wasn’t relevant to every aspect of her life.

He needs that while on Earth? LOL

He doesn't but he likes it

He doesn’t need it per-say: he just likes the look of it. He’s basically an evil Superman who wants to be good, but still has the attitude from when he was evil (and isn’t planning on giving that attitude up, even if he is good now). Plus he’s the one who brought Jason Todd back to life back in the day, though I don’t think the two have ever talked about it.
