The Weekly Pull List results for this Wednesday are in, and this week's top book is DC's Absolute Wonder Woman #22.

This thread is open to Pull List posters and all members of the /r/comicbooks community to share your thoughts on the latest issue of DC's Absolute Wonder Woman #22 or any new books shipping this week.

SPIDER-MAN LONG WAY HOME #2

I was wondering if the guy in Miami was going to turn out to be Yorkie Mitchell from Punisher MAX, but it wasn't. If it had been, it would put the Hulk in the role of Barracuda, which would be interesting. I guess Hulk is in Miami now so he might dress like Barracuda next issue, but that's more of a Mark Millar thing. It seemed like maybe his dog was a Yorkie, at least. This is similar in tone to the Wolverine Revenge series Hickman did with Greg Capullo. I expected roughly the same thing and it has been that.

I like the versions of SHIELD that have shown up in both this series and the other one, it feels like they're right out of the 80s. I guess they're similar to the way they're depicted in Frank Miller's Elektra Assassin series.

That is something I like about these Hickman mini-series, they feel weirdly timeless and dreamy. JMS did a series of one-shots that were set in different time periods, like the 1970s, and I really liked it, and was hoping there would be more stuff like it. This is pretty close to that, but with a more nebulous time period. It makes them feel creepy.
