Don't want this to happen too often but I'm the mod so I'm giving myself permission, bwah ha ha!
I've collected comics for over 40 years and am showing off my collection one box at a time on YouTube. Check it out if you're interested: Glenn Simpson's Comics - YouTube

Just curious if there is a general opinion on the cleaning services that CGC provides. Are they on par with, worse, better than another party? My concern is that if you send them in for those services do they genuinely try attain the highest grade for you possible. Per some suggestions on prior questions about comic beautification on here I have tried educating myself on it and watched some videos and done some reading and I have noticed that the “masters” of the art repeat their processes and steps quite a bit in pursuit of the best results. From the mass production philosophy they seem to take a on cranking out grades and slabs, I don’t see CGC dedicating the same amount of effort. Perhaps if I was a $300 dollar a year premium account holder…but I ain’t!!!

Is a 9.8 possible or should I just leave it in the old label? Thank you for any advice

I can only afford to grade 4 of these. Which 4 or 5 would you choose? I'm going to have to press and clean some as well.

Within my collection, I have a bunch of the 1979 Micronauts issues, all in high grade condition. The only 2 keys are #1 & #8, so I’m wondering whether or not it’s worth grading those 2 issues.

Front presents very nicely. Unfortunately has what looks to be foxing or staining.

So I just got this beauty and was wondering how bad this corner will get a book, especially with the writing on the backside. How would you get rid of the „48“
EDIT: Thank you fellas for all the quick responses and helpful feedback :D

Not asking what's this worth but when I did my research, last sold was 5 years ago, how would I go about valuing this for a potential trade?
