1887-O Morgan Dollar I've had this a few years but idk what to do with it. I have no backstory on it or why it's encased like this. I don't even know what it's in.

Is it ruined? What would you do with it? I'd love to know what y'all think.

Hi everyone, I have this 1881 one-dollar coin that is in poor condition. Do you know how I can make it shine again? I would really appreciate it.

In my dad’s coin collection I found a 40 year old chuck E Cheese token.

I never thought about it until now, but does CAC sticker coins for both their numerical grade and designation? If I for example have an MS65 PL Morgan and the Morgan's surfaces are in the A and B tier of coins it should CAC, but what if the coin is not a true PL and it's mirrors are not very deep?

I am on the hunt for PL pre 33 gold and saw a coin with a PL designation while also having a green CAC sticker, yet the mirrors do not look very reflective from the images/video.

So does CAC take PL or DMPL designations into account when stickering?

So, my reluctantly-ordered Best of Mint SLQ set, with AV Standing Liberty Quarter 1916[-W] reproduction and AR medal [N/D -P] arrived. In my view, both pieces are well-executed. The AV SLQ has all of the features that make it an appealing design, although the strike is slightly softer than the website images (which are probably not a real specimen). Liberty's shield and nipple* (*yes, kiddos) are less distinct than a MS69 prototype.

The AR medal is a more crisp strike, aided by the relatively greater number of straighter lines and the metal. For example, the Rx Eagle wing feathers are deeply incised. Clever use of superimposition of the elements over the legends on the medal, too.

The packaging, I can only say, must be sponsored by the TPGs to drive slab submissions. The insert is a highly friable plastic foam, not even the faux-velour of usual commemoratives. I had to wipe black dust off the capsules several times just to be sure the specks were not marks on the coins or dust inside the capsules. This stuff will be adhering to the capsules in a few years. It's odd because they went through the bother of including an info booklet, much longer than the usual bifold COA, with an elastic strap to hold the booklet in the lid. Images are capsule post-wipings and the foam insert.

Paid $28 for the 3, did i do ok? Havent had the time to look up prices. The cent is pretty beat up but i liked it.

Can't really make out the date. I have had this for awhile and was wondering if anyone had more info. I do not have a scale to get weight. I would think the weight would be off because of the extensive wear anyways.

Found this in a bunch of foreign coins I've had for years. I'm almost sure it's gold. How do I find out what grade (karat)? What's the best way to get the best value out of it....sell for the gold or put on auction on ebay?

Not sure what it could be. Fairly heavy for its weight, not magnetic.

I was told this is a trade dollar from 1876.

They are claiming it is worth over $100, and it looks like it is in pretty bad shape.

Inherited this coin after my Dad passed seven years ago. He bought it in 1986. Looked it up and it seems to be pretty rare and some can be valued pretty high.
