Please educate me, if it’s a lamination error then it’s a very odd shape.

Discussion Die polish marks?

Hello. I just recently picked up some "junk" silver halves and noticed what appears to be die polish marks on Ben's eyes and mouth. Was this done to remove a die clash? In the field to the right of Ben there are also polish marks. Just curious because I know about the Bugs bunny varieties but do not recall 1957 being one of those years.

Is this an error? Possible 1978 DDO

I found a 1978 - P quarter and it appears to have doubling on the date. Does any one know if this is a known DDO or if it's just machine doubling.

The 19 is missing…. Well a very weak strike. Is this considered an error? Does not appear to be done intentionally. Would it be worth grading? Any advice greatly appreciated - thank you.

I'm not sure if this double edge at the top is considered an error. Can anyone identify it?

I’ve been doing some CRH to build a penny collection and found this really nice ‘69 S. I’m uncertain if this is a s/s. I don’t know of it being an official error, but it looks like something underneath might have been chiseled off. There is also serifs, and it seems like something under the top part of the S mark.

Sorry for not the best photos but does this 1915 penny look like a mint error or damaged afterwards? I pretty sure it’s post damage but not 100%. Seller told me she thought someone put it on a train track but that’s only speculation. Any answers would be appreciated Thanks

New quarter. I can't tell if this is pmd or a die gouge or what. The curve lines seen to go with the curve of the coin too well. It's tough for me to tell if it's raised or grooved.

Attribution Assistance I can't tell what exactly is going on.... TIA for the help!

Got a weird one that I can't exactly tell what it is or even feel "close" to understanding.
2000 (P) Lincoln cent - weight and diameter check out along with thickness. What caught my eye is it seems like there is almost a double rim?

I trying looking it up, but most results were just about the wide AM.
On error-ref, I saw perhaps being an abnormal edge upset mill error, but the site says that usually occurs with some sort of offsetting - which I'm not seeing on either face.
Another thing I looked up was this possibly being a double strike, btu that seemed to tend to have either doubling or offsetting. In the same vein, broadstuck is off the table since the diameter checks out.
The only other thing I can thing of is that this is very late stage die deterioration, and perhaps a ring around the edge of the die broke? I just don't know.

The other option is PMD, but it looks to be too perfect around the entire edge to be done with spoons etc... and it seems like the letters pull to the edge.

Thank you all in advance!
