Looking for Døds practitioners in France
Hi everyone!
I’m currently working on a documentary about Dødsing. I’m looking to connect with people or crews who practice it seriously in France.
If you're a diver yourself or know anyone in the French community, I’d love to hear from you! Feel free to drop a comment or send me a DM.
Thanks a lot! 🪂

Technique advice for 60 ft+ jumps
Looking for some advice. I apologize for poor grammar and if my questions don’t really make sense. So for context almost a year ago I did a 60 ft jump(the highest I’d done) and hurt myself. I jumped wearing running shoes and when I landed, both my feet went outward, bending at the knees. I knew it was wrong immediately after and was able to thankfully swim and hike out, but it was quite painful to do so. It took around 2 1/2 months to get full range of motion back and 6 months till I was able to resume normal activities.
Now I’m curious how to improve my technique. I’d done a lot of jumping before but nothing beyond 40ish feet no issue. This was a definite step up and I want to conquer it again. Thinking back on it, 2 things could have been the main culprit. Firstly, wearing running shoes. I definitely felt the water resistance on the edge of them and it definitely made my feet want to travel the wrong way when i entered the water. Secondly, for a while the jumps I was doing were into relatively shallow water and I developed a habit of landing softly to avoid hitting the bottom.
So my main questions are(sorry if these sound stupid):
1. Does it make a difference on the shoes you wear? Should I have not worn running shoes and done something with thinner souls to avoid the resistance? Or was i just an idiot
2. When you land, how stiff should you hold your legs ? Obviously not locked all the way out but like 95% extended?
3. Should I just accept that I’m not built for this and keep my jumps to below 40 ft.
Thank you for any advice, it is appreciated and I apologize for the long post

Flyboarding experience near NJ/NYC (US)
I’m based in NJ and was wondering if there are any flyboarding operators still active within a reasonable distance.
Most of what I’m finding online looks a bit outdated, so I’m not sure what’s actually still running.

What is the highest an experienced diver who landed absolutely perfect could jump into water?
There is an account of at least one guy (a 17 year old high schooler somewhat experienced in cliff jumping) who jumped from 220+ feet off the golden gate bridge, and walked out, barely injured. What is the absolute limit that someone far more experienced, and with a perfect landing, could jump into water and be fine, or at least not die or get paralyzed? Outside of this guys jump, the official world record is 193 feet, and other than that cliff jumpers rarely go to even 150, I think the highest done by social media cliff jumpers is that 160 foot spot Ryan bean gainered, which like 2 people have done from what I've seen (the other guy death dived it).
